I originally picked this up with the intent of getting a monitor with a goo frame refresh rate. And this did deliver so far. I however do find one issue, it lags behind my other older monitor during startup of my desktop. After that, runs well. The lighting is so much better too! I definitely enjoyed this upgrade

I've been running this monitor for two years, and don't have a single complaint. It looks good, has a lot of adjustment, the color looks great, the response time is amazing, and the refresh rate makes even scrolling social media look smoother. All an all a solid buy.

Pretty legit monitor this is my second one owned and it works perfectly fine super low price at Best Buy.

Very good monitor for gaming. I suggest you either get on sale for less than $250, or upgrade to 2K gaming monitor. This works fine for HD.

I own two of this model. The first is over 4 years old and still going strong. The second replaces a Samsung monitor that died a month after the 2-year warranty ran out. For work, this monitor produces crisp text in a bright screen. I edit book manuscripts for a living and this monitor is excellent for long days of staring at Word documents. Additionally, this monitor is excellent for use with Nvidia's 3D glasses kit. Though many newer games don't support this capability, the first Lara Croft, Just Cause 3, and Far Cry 3 are well worth playing on this set up! It's also great for 3D movies. Even if you choose not use it for 3D gaming, ditch the HDMI cable (you'll lose the monitor's sound capability) and connect the included DVI cable instead. This will allow you to run the monitor at 144 mHz and that means a much sharper and faster image over the default 60 mHz rate of HDMI. I have never had an issue with this ASUS model and I use it every day for work and play.

I did a lot of research before buyimg this and it was between this and benq that i allready have.i needed a third one and this was in stock and i am not dissappointed.i do like the benq 2411z but this one is better in my opinion as far as picture quality,colors, and it has displayport hookup that benq lacks.

I bought this as an upgrade to my 10 yr old monitor. I was overdue. I also upgraded the PC to one with a 1080 TI.. to say that the difference was incredible is an understatement. Best Buy delivering products to Fairbanks was SWEET! The monitor came neatly packaged and was equally easy to UNpackage. I had it out of the box and on my desk in a minute or two. I quickly noticed the impressive stand and adjustable height/tilt. Once hooked up, I couldnt wait to fire it up. What a picture! I have been playing a few graphically intense games like Xplane 11, Golf Club 2 on the highest possible settings and not a single glitch, flicker or blur. Watching movies and streaming equally eye popping and enjoyable. I also do a lot of data entry in my home based business and do not find eye strain to be a problem. In short.. this was an awesome purchase. I sure hope it lasts as long as the other!! But in 10 years WHO KNOWS what options will be available for 200 or so bucks! Get this.. you wont be sorry!

I get the full 144Hz and the difference in fps is very noticeable, I like how adjustable the stand is, the built in speakers aren't very good, but I didn't expect them to be, remember if you want the frame rate to use a display port cable

It was a game changer from a 65 inch tv. Made gaming so much better and enjoyable. I play FPS games only. Made tracking and getting on target a lot easier. Definitely recommend. I went with the 144 because never know what the next consoles will be able to run

Great for console gaming, even consoles only work at 60hz and this monitor is rated for 144hz, next gen consoles are around the corner and hopefully they will run at 100hz and this monitor is ready to handle that, at 1 mil sec response. just a great addition and you wont need to upgrade for a long time.

I researched various monitors because I needed a replacement for my older Samsung monitor. The Asus monitor was by far the best performing monitor for gaming and was an appropriate size for my desk. I use it mostly for work and Internet searches but when I want to game it really helps to have the performance features.

This monitor has a fantastic picture. I love the ability to adjust the screen up and down and turn it long ways. Has all the useful ports you need. My only complaint is that it has an audio error. I've returned it twice and it has an annoying beeping sound mainly when using a headset. I've called Asus and they just told me to take it back after the third return it hasn't beeped since. But I didn't buy it for the speakers. But all in all it's a great monitor for the price.

The monitor gives the 144hz refresh and the 1ms and it does not disappoint on either of those. It has been working great and even the color isn't bad, as most 144hz seem to have a washed out look to them and this one doesn't seem to be no where near as bad as other I have used before.
