This is a great monitor for the price. I definitely recommend doing a little research online about the color settings when you get it home but all in all this is great.

We bought two of these monitors on Black Friday to go with my boyfriends new computer. So far they have worked perfectly and he loves the picture and video quality. Unfortunately the new computer we bought was broken and we are waiting on the replacement to fully enjoy both monitors, but if they continue to work this well they would be worth the full 5 stars.

I did not realize how big the monitor was until I took it out of the box. I love it the clarity of the monitor but if I was going to get another one I would get a smaller monitor. I love the ASUS brand always high quality.

I have a Samsung 27 curved monitor as my main Gaming monitor. I picked this up to use as a second monitor for streaming and so on. It does this great, but now I've moved it to be my main monitor. The color is crisp, the 1ms and 144mhz is amazing. I have those same settings on the Samsung, but this appears like a better monitor all around. Using a ROG 2080 Super GPU card and using HDMI for now.

this monitor is awesome! is a must have if you are a gamer. The 144hz makes a huge difference! i used this monitor both on my PC and XBOX One and it has change my gaming experience for the better!

This is a great monitor. The only issue we have is the speakers. I’m not exactly sure why they are even included because they are pretty awful. Once you plug your own speakers in its much better.

I got two of these monitors on black Friday and love them. However if you want the 144hz refresh rate. You will need a good graphics card and use display port cables not HDMI. Hope this helps.

I have owned three of these monitors over the past seven years, where each may be a slightly updated model though all of mine are nearly identical. If you need a 1920x1080 resolution Windows PC gaming monitor that outputs 144hz with 1ms response time and fits a tighter budget, I am not aware of a better option than this monitor. There have been other options for 144hz with 1ms response time 1080p monitors, however I prefer this one due to the following features: ---The entire monitor can be rotated at the base by about 70 degrees. This offers flexibility in viewing angles at a desk or table, in particular if you happen to use the monitor as a screen for more than one device. ---The monitor screen can be positioned in letter orientation (rotated 90 degrees), which is nice for use as a second or third work desktop screen. ---The monitor has built in speakers as a backup for sound output if you don't have a working speaker system. ---The monitor can be tilted up or down, and positioned lower or higher to get that right viewing angle. ---The monitor has an audio output jack, a DVI input, and an HDMI input. Conveniently, all these inputs are facing down so that helps me with saving desk space. I use a combination of these input options to use my three monitors for both Windows PC and console gaming (to some extent at the same time if needed with company), with all sound output to independent speakers (you can take in to the monitor audio via HDMI and output that to independent speakers for better sound). ---Not something I use beyond initially testing it, but the "gamer" extras you can toggle via buttons on the monitor are a nice bonus. Specifically, the optional center screen crosshair can... make it easier to "noscope" hehe. That being said, note the main issue I have had with this product described below and for which I have removed one star from my rating for this product. ---After 2 to 4 years the display port input of the monitor may stop working. This is an issue because of the three video input ports in the monitor, only the display port input is capable of supporting a 144hz image as far as I know. My workaround for this issue has so far been to buy additional copies of this monitor such that I went from a one monitor setup to three monitors, with the newest monitor being used as the primary 144hz screen and the other one or two monitors with broken display port input being used for extra desktop space for work or console gaming monitors. For work and console gaming prior to PS5 and Xbox Series X, refresh rate greater than 60hz is not really needed for me or even possible for older consoles. At MSRP the price seems fair to me, however this monitor seems to go on sale now and then for $200 or less so I recommend waiting for a sale if you intend to buy it.

I bought this to use for gaming and to update my old monitor just for surfing the internet. It's a couple inches bigger than what I had, I love it! It's so clear and has a quick refresh rate.

It was a really good monitor, it has several different modes, gaming, theater, scenery, standard. And the 144 Hz feels amazing, but the built-in speaker is not as good as I was expecting.

It really is a great monitor for the price. Pleased with refresh and color.

Didn't know much about monitors or pc gaming but after searching the web this monitor was in my price range and had excellent reviews, after using it I have only good things to say.

I purchased this Gaming Monitor as a Christmas gift for my grandson. It was recommended by the in-house experts at BestBuy. The specifications are impressive and so far this ASUS monitor has operated better than expected. It seems to be able to handle the most demanding games / videos feeds. That's the bottom line. Price vs. performance can't be beat. My grandson said he can't wait to show me all the things he can do with it. I look forward to it.

For gaming the only way to beat this is with a G-Sync monitor, Anti-Trace and 1ms response time make everything feel so much better than the TV I was using. UNFORTUNATELY... 3D will NOT work with PS3, Monitor on 0 brightness is way too bright in a dark room, screen does not get dark enough to properly view a dark scene in a movie. Speakers are among the worst I have ever heard with no way to adjust the sound other than volume hidden deep in a menu, but the headphone port allows very clear sound with no static, unlike most TV headphone jacks, I use Sony 7506 headphones. If you just want to game, this monitor is amazing! If you also want to watch movies, get something else.

Great gaming monitor. Great price also. With the graphics card installed in our computer this monitor was just what was needed. Picture is great.

This is the second one of the monitors that I have bought. I loved the first one so much, I had to get another one for my setup. I am an avid gamer and this monitor made playing my games so much more enjoyable. If you want to get the full 144hz experience make sure you pick up a Display port cable for it or you will top out at 60hz. I'll be getting a 3rd one down the road.

This is my first "ergonomic" monitor where I can adjust the height, angle, and rotation. At 144hz refresh time and 1ms response time, I can get really smooth motion playback on the screen. The only issue I have with the monitor is that I had to fine tune the display. After a Google search I found some profiles/settings that work for me.

So far it has been a great monitor with my GTX 1080 and Ryzen 7 1800X I am able to get 144hz on some games and 100+ on others. THis monitor was a great deal when i got it.

Purchased this for my son for his first gaming pc. Good size, crisp picture. Only issue is it says it VR ready, it is, but two ports are needed- i.e for whatever (I'm not a tecky) the other for the VR. Ended up having to buy a $7 adaptor so the VR could be plugged in. It worked in the end and he's enjoying it.

Got it during special sale. Monitor has the screen size, resolution, and refresh rate desired for gaming at a good price. So far color quality and image is good.
