Wanted a 27 inch monitor with speakers for under $300.

This monitor is great! So great I own three of them now. The image quality is superb! The only issue I have with the monitor is that sometimes images burn to the screen, and it takes a while before those images go away. I've noticed this happen to two of my screens which doesn't make since. Another issue I have is that you have to buy a special part if you want to mount the monitor.

The clarity on this monitor was well above my expectations. The response rate is so low that I no longer see any flickering on high end graphics gaming. I think this product is fantastic, especially at the price point it was offered at. A serious recommend purchase!

Hello, The monitor is pretty good and colors are superb when compared to other brand monitors. The biggest drawback is the sensitivity of the buttons. They are too sensitive and it is extremely challenging to change options. I wish it had buttons similar to PB278Q. As far as the sound system is concerned, I get what I paid i.e.low price, low quality. Overall, ASUS is far better than other brands.

I like the monitor for the price. I could have bought much better but for general PC use, gaming and photoshop editing it is above average. I was excited to possibly use the built in Bang and Olufsen ICEpowered built-in monitor speakers since my high end component PC speakers just failed. However, the quality brand name speaker company just cannot achieve a good music quality out of the tiny thin LED monitor speakers.

I bought this monitor as an alternative to buying a small TV for my desk. The idea was to have a nice gaming monitor to use with my gaming consoles and pc. Because I don't have a lot of room on my desk for speakers, I was excited to find a monitor with speakers built in. I can not complain about a single thing involving the picture quality of the monitor. The refresh rate is amazing, colors are crisp and clear, and the monitor looks huge on my desk. But the speakers were a little disappointing. Due to the speaker location (on the back of the monitor), the sound often sounds muffled, especially the mids. But once you get use to it, it isn't a big deal. A nice addition to the monitor is that is has a headphone jack located on the back side of the monitor. I use a nice pair of previously purchased headphones for all my sound needs, and the speakers do the job when I don't want to use them. Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase. As much as I am disappointed with the sound quality, I am equally impressed with the picture quality. I highly recommend this monitor. Just know that the speakers aren't the best I have ever heard (even compared to a normal tv's speakers).

I was looking for a new monitor for my PC and thought it would be best to go into the store to look at them in person versus buy online. I am so glad I did! I never would have bought a "no glare" monitor because I never thought it was necessary, but thankfully the salesman pointed me in this direction. I didn't realize they were so reflective, and I'm so glad I went with this monitor! I have three monitors in my office, television, a security monitor, and this new Monitor for my PC. Both of my other monitors have reflections from my office window, but this one does not and makes it substantially easier to view. Thank you for your knowledgeable salesman, I appreciate his input and I love this new monitor.

Was a little bit hard to set up, somewhat confusing. Once it was all set up, I love it.

Had it for a couple months. Really like that the buttons on the bottom of the screen are touch activated rather than actually having to press anything. Response time is excellent. Refresh rate could use a minor upgrade and whatnot but overall I really love this monitor.
