The sound quality is incredibly 'tinny'. Sounds like it comes from an old transistor radio. The black areas of the screen have flashing red dots and half the time the screen goes blank randomly. Sometimes it will come back itself other times I have to turn it off and back on. Very disappointed in this monitor :(

Had mine for a few months now and everything seemed to be great. Picture quality is great and sound is alright as well. Now I'm getting HDCP errors on it. My PS4, PS3, and Xbox one are all giving me problems with this monitor when it comes to HDCP. The PS4 and PS3 just give me black screens while my Xbox One won't let me play any BluRay movies anymore. Works alright on the PC as long as you don't use any media that requires HDCP support.

I bout this item because of all the great reviews from the BB community. As soon as I turned it on I could see it had a mate finish to the screen and that takes away from the clarity of the picture in my opinion even in 1080p. I looks like there is a film on the screen that could be removed but no such luck sadly. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, please provide feedback if there's a setting I could be missing or any ideas you have that can help. Thank you!

less then a week after getting this monitor, there are dead pixels, for $300 i should not be getting this, i had a $200 tv i used as a monitor and i never had a single problem with it, i wanted a bigger and better monitor and this was not what i was expecting, as because i use this for gaming to me the dead pixel is not to noticeable, but it still should not be there at all for the price.

This is about Bestbuy, i couldn't even try the monitor I was excited about this monitor, i bought a NEW one from bestbuy, it suppose to be NEW, if I wanted an open box one, I would have bought an open box one, but again I wanted it NEW, I took home, I checked the cables, the way they were rolled, it wasn't new, some one took it, tried and returned it for a reason, so I took it back to best buy, and exchanged for a another one that the guy there assured me that its NEW, I took it home, opened it and checked it, the plastic cover around the power brick is melted, some one took it, used it, the power brick heated and melted the plastic cover, then he returned it. so i returned it and took my money back. I paid for a NEW, I expect a NEW. now i am regretting buying my XBOX ONE from best buy, maybe it wasn't NEW!
