    A drive like this is a necessity for the many modern laptops/notebooks that no longer have optical drives installed. The design is a bit flimsy (what else can we really expect for such an insubstantial device?), but it works. The second USB cable is a slight inconvenience but only needed if your USB port lacks sufficient power.
