    So far this works. I am able to play DVDs. I have yet to record, so I will have to try that out.

    I guess it works well, but I was not informed by Best Buy Representative that ordered it for me, that it two USB ports to work, that is not good for a computer I bought from Best Buy also that only has two USB ports, he told me it had more ports. But the external drive works well once I got it hooked up. Just be advised everyone.

    This Asus Vivobook Laptop has almost all the features that I want and need. Very fast. Good storage. It does lack a DVD drive, but I bought an external one and that is sufficient. Except for that missing feature, I really like this Asus Laptop.
