This is a great product to use when needing to download computer programs to your laptop. I have done this numerous times with no problems. Also great for looking at DVDs that have your data stored on them.

Just had to plug it in to my laptop and it was ready to go. Is working well.

Slim, compact external DVD player works perfectly to play DVDs. It has other capacities that I have not explored. Good price for this item.

We got this because our new computer didn't come with a disc tray. And my husband wanted to play old Star Wars games from disc's. This was exactly what we needed at a good price.

This comes in handy since most of the NEW laptops omit the CD Writer/ROM now but cost even more. Im glad they make these external ones so I have the option again.

I bought this because my new laptop doesn't have a CD/DVD drive in it. This worked like a charm. Simply plug and play and you're good to go. It also came with some CD burning software. I haven't used it, but it looked pretty easy to use.

Does what it says. Easy to use. Easy to store. I use it to play really old obsolete format CDs, mostly collectable early stuff from local bands.

i needed a cheap external drive. this one was cheap easy setup and works. its very loud and a slower than an internal drive but it does what i needed it to do.

Works just fine. Compact easy to use. I use it to view videos and download cd's for recording on a thumb drive for use in my vehicle.

easy to plug and play, easily installs on computer, NOT for Blue Ray discs

I had trouble with many other city burners before but this one was great because even if it was a little on balance like on a bed while you burn the CD it still works and others didn't and also is much more durable than others used before

My computer didn't come with a dvd drive so I bought this one. It was easy to set up. MY computer recognized it right away and it reads my old back up dvds just fine.

I ordered this item for pick up, but it took an extremely long time, so a best buy salesperson (Alexander) took the time get the item for me. The unit works fine I would recommend.

Good for the price .. didn't need bells and whistles so this was the perfect purchase. Works well although quite fragile so be careful when loading and unloading CD's or DVD's

My son wanted this for his video games to add more storage. He loves that he said he has plenty of room and the value was good for the money after his research a finding a good one that wasn't too expensive.

Bought a new computer without a cd writer. i needed a writer to load pictures and programs once in a while. This was an easy install and works great.
