Not a quick DVD player set up

Did not work!

Aweful...

When you plug it in, no default program starts so...you have to fish around for any program to do what you want. Do not buy.

To resolve this, please verify if the computer fully-support the optical drive. And if it does, please ensure the OS and chipset driver are up to date.
A recording or burning software or application is not provided, either from ASUS or other manufacturer, this needs to be installed separately.

It's unfortunate to hear that the optical drive is unable to eject. Please attempt these steps:
Look for a tiny little hole on the front of the DVD/cd drive, usually, this is near the eject button. Push that hole with a paper clip or pin, and it should open the DVD/cd drive again.
