Quiet card that works well with Ubuntu Linux

Basically Defective
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Who knows whether its because of drivers, or a defective chip, but every game will crash every 10 min or so, sometimes with lots of artifacting. Driver version irrelevant. Reinstalling windows does not fix, nor does removing all other software from the PC. Not OC’d. So it works, as long as you’re fond of restarting your game every 10 min.

We certainly understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused if you are experiening system crash and artifacting using this graphics card. All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections, this is a random problem. To resolve this issue, check if your PC meets the system requirements of this graphics card. If it does meet requirements, ensure Windows, graphics driver and your PC's drivers are up to date. Additionally, check if your PC's PCIe slot is working properly and a compatible and working video cable is being used. If you are using for are ASUS provides warranty coverage for the product. Furthermore we recommend to install Windows clean using this graphics to eliminate any possible driver or software conflict. If these steps were performed to no avail, we recommend you send the product in for service to resolve any hardware issue immediately. A RMA number is required to send it in for service.
