Shockingly good!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a lot of research before purchasing this laptop and I have to say that so far I am very impressed. It is difficult to find a review using the newer 3050ti model but the performance is around 20-25% higher than the 1650ti model from what I can tell. The response times of the screen aren’t the best but the colors are good and my unit had no backlight bleed or unevenness at all. Playing Forza Horizon 4 at 1920x1200 on maximum settings was yielding 70-80 FPS and Firestrike scores were floating around 10,000. It got a “High” rating on the FFXIV benchmark with max settings but I have not been able to actually test the game with the current wait times to log on. The build quality is excellent and all the finishes feel very high quality. It is incredibly light and thin and will be very easy to travel with. The fan noise is very low on the performance setting even while gaming. It is quieter than any pop top I have ever used besides my M1 pro MacBook Pro. The speakers are loud and clear but not don’t have very much bass. Overall and excellent purchase if you can get it on sale and Asus has the XG mobile in stock on their site to buy separately if you want crazy performance.

Great buy if on sale!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got it on sale for $1,350 and I have to say it's pretty good value for what it offers. The only thing I really dislike about this laptop is how much of an absolute fingerprint attractor it is :/. The finish it has on it doesn't really make it look any better so it's a con that doesn't even have to exist. Battery life could also be better even with iGPU on it still sits at a relatively short ~5-6 hrs. The fingerprint reader on the side takes like 3 tries for it to read your finger right but it's still like only 2 secs so who cares. Asides from those things pretty good laptop. Been using it for school work and game emulation just fine :). One thing that really stands out about the laptop is the colors the screen has. IDK what it is about it but this has the best colors I've seen on all my laptops. And both of my monitors.

Charging issue, USB port failed
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Within a year’s time, i had the same issue of charging twice. It was under manufacture’s warranty. When the issue occurred, support people gave the option to either give it to geek sqaud or send it to them directly. I picked the option of giving to best buy geek squad, they took almost 3 weeks and returned the laptop and with another couple of months it had the same issue again. I contacted the supprt again and agin gave to geek squad, they took 3 to 4 weeks and gave laptop back. In a few weeks the USB broke again ans track pad issue. While it is a new laptop aroud 1300$, it broke so many times. As a customer i expected ASUS to replace the laptop while same issue happeded twice within the warranty period or extend the warranty especially on work done.. i spent hours and hours with supprt person and their supprt supervisor from Asus side who was of no help. Literally thete is no sense of helping customer here. When the same issue or new issue happens within a week’s time after the laptop is serviced, how can someone trust on the quality of the product. It may be a bad product, i tried to explain multiple times, ..customer support should have replaced or given warranty on the service perfomed. None of these offered. This is last time i am buying Asus products.

Covers all my bases.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Until recently I had never thought about buying a 2 in 1 touchscreen laptop. I primarily use a MBP and iPad for reading and general internet tasks. The MBP is the center piece of of music making set up but I also enjoy playing MMORPGs. Over the years less and less games support Mac and it doesn’t look like it’s going to get better. A few months ago I went on a business trip and took a company laptop that happened to be a 2 in 1 and was surprised how much I loved using the thing in tablet mode. Around the same time Bestbuy started listing the new Flow. I was super happy to see it in stock and on sale. It’s just about perfect for what I use it for. The games I play are at least 5 or more years old so I can max the graphics. I can read my books again and not feel bad about taking the iPad back from my daughter. Audio software like Ableton Live works smooth and can handle more plugins than I’ll realistically use. I wasn’t sure if I’d like the small form factor (my last gaming laptop was 17 inch 2012 ROG) but it turns out I kind of like it. If your on the fence and can afford it go ahead and give it a whirl you’ll probably happily surprised.

Awesome lightweight this laptop/tablet
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an awesome computer!! Super lightweight, thin, great screen, fast!!!! Got it for my son for college and some gaming (hopefully in that order). I’ll probably purchase another one for myself for 3D design and video making. Haven’t used the tablet mode yet but I can see I will love that.

Performance and slick machine
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am engineer and have chance to test several products. I can tell you that this is the machine to buy for a personal use. You should consider that the machine works up to 4 hours max on battery, in the end it is high end powerfull machine, battery life is reasonable.

Rog Flow X13 Review
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product was everything I expect. Great graphics, speed and ultra portable. The weight was light; however, the trackpad came with a defect and I've requested for a change. Other than that everything was fine.

perfect forme
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dont have a bad thing to say about this laptop. I bought this to replace my Lenovo which I LOVED but it was old and I wanted something smaller to take out onsite for jobs. I was able to use my adapters I already had purchased for my old Laptop so it worked out great for me.

Lightning fast!

Huh, that's pretty neat.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Second one I'm purchasing. Wish I could've gotten one with the 3050Ti earlier this year, but man I love this little machine. It's packing power in a very light, clean design, not too flashy (as many other gaming laptops are), and with the XG Mobile, I've almost got a mobile workstation.

Powerful gaming notebook
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Asus ROG Gaming notebook is a small device with a lot of power. The notebook isn’t immune to some flaws, but overall, it’s a portable powerhouse inside a very small and thin notebook. Opening the box was a fun experience on its own. As you lift the box open, the notebook raises up as if it were on a display hinge giving it a cool presentation. There’s not much inside of the box other than the notebook, a small power brick and some paperwork. While the notebook does have a built-in camera, it does not utilize the windows face sign in…But to my surprise, it does offer a fingerprint scanner right on the power button. The fingerprint reader is a great feature, I just wish it would work better. Half the time it reads on the first press, the other half I’m forced to try over and over again which eventually I have to enter my pin. The notebook starts up extremely fast, due to 1TB internal SSD. The 120hz 16:10 FHD touchscreen looks and feels amazing. The colors are bright with lots of detail and look sharp. The screen can be flipped around 360deg and can be used as a tablet, or you can turn it into stand mode which offers much better colling while playing games. The Notebook comes equipped with 16gb of DDR4 ram, and the RTX 3050 Ti notebook graphics card. The new RTX graphics card is designed for notebooks, giving you plenty of power to handle the latest games all while being able to fit into a low profile. One of my favorite features about this notebook is the Link to my Asus software which gives you the ability to wirelessly use your tablet as an extended display, or even mirror your screen to your tablet. I use my 11” iPad pro as a wireless extended display, which works great. The built-in speakers in the notebook are surprisingly good, seeing how small it is. They sound bright and detailed, plus they get pretty loud. As for how this notebook handles gaming, it does not disappoint. I did have a few games that failed to start up, which resulted in having to redownload them. The games that did work, ran great. Having the 120hz screen makes a huge difference in gaming, especially in online shooters. With built-in Bluetooth, I can connect my Xbox controller wirelessly, set the notebook in stand mode and have an awesome gaming session. I would not recommend playing games with the notebook sitting in your lap, as it can get extremely hot. I also wanted to see how long the battery would last, so I charged it up to %100 and loaded a game. I was able to get a solid 45min on one charge, with the graphics setting on max, the brightness at max and the refresh rate at 120hz. Surprisingly, the notebook never overheated, or gave me any frame rate drop. In fact, the only time I noticed any sort of slowing down, was when the battery was at 9%. Overall, the Asus ROG Gaming notebook is a solid machine. The notebook has more than enough power under the hood to run todays latest graphic demanding games. The compact size makes it extremely portable to carry around with you, plus the ability to rotate the screen gives you plenty of options for viewing. The internal speakers offer great sound to fully immense yourself into your games or shows. The 120hz touchscreen display looks astounding. Also, the ability to use your tablet as a second display or mirror it wirelessly is a great feature. The new GTX graphics card adds plenty of performance, combined with the 16gb of DDR4 ram makes this a portable powerhouse. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new gaming notebook.

Excellent laptop but not perfect
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Couple of reasons why it's not perfect: 1. The touchpad could be larger. It's substantially smaller than most competitors. 2. WIFI signal seems to be weaker than my other devices. 3. There is no way to disable the screen auto rotate. 4. SSD is 2230 size. Upgrade option is limited to none.

Surprisingly adept little computer.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was pleasantly surprised by this computer. I am a CAD designer and needed a travel computer that could give renders in a reasonable time frame. This little computer has the power and stability to compete with some older desktops (keep in mind this is not a replacement computer for a desktop.) Pros: Lightweight Bright screen Fast enough for CAD and gaming Cons: The battery life is really bad The screen is small (if you are using this for long periods of time consider using an external monitor.) It heats up really fast
