Nice brick.

Worked for 8 months. Now it wont turn on. No lights, no sound, no screen. Complete useless brick. So I have to go get warranty service, with my files on the thing. Ugh! Will stick with Dell or Lenovo. Reliability over flash any day!

We do understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused.
If the laptop will not boot up or it's just black screen but the fan, please do the following, if these were not performed yet before sending it in for warranty service. Please try to do a power cycle by pressing and holding down the power button to shut it down completely. If it still black screen after a few minutes, at least 10 minutes, please repeat the power cycle process again. If the laptop is applying updates in the System Registry, it will black screen temporarily until the update were applied successfully. Also, please try to disconnect the power cable and let the unit drain for 24 hours to clear the memory. This will reset the hardware to default settings. After doing this, please reconnect your AC adapter, do not power on the laptop until the battery was charged.

Driver and cooling issues

If you dont have a stand to place this on then the machine cant cool itself properly.

Cheap Charger

Overpriced

Beautiful laptop, terrible screen ghosting and QC!

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This laptop is beautifully constructed and well thought out, however, there are some serious issues with ASUS's quality control for a laptop that costs this much. I bought my first Flow x13 and had to return it because its screen had a yellow tint with terrible ghosting. My replacement unit came in with FedEx and I must mention that it seemed that my box was terribly handled as it had dents and bends all over ( and that's the laptop box inside the external packaging!!!!). Now, my replacement unit had a heating issue and the temps on the CPU would easily go upto 90c (170 - 190F) under slight load. The idle temps would stay around 60s (c) which is too high. I had to return the replacement too and ask for a refund. I have now got a M16. That has much better first impressions compare to this.
