Small Size, High performance.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is a great option for those who need a small laptop with the most performance you can get in such a small footprint. And what makes it more excellent is that it has a convertible option which gives it more functionality.

Good but need more GPU
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good, just good. The build quality is nice. It has a touch screen (I never use it) I would give it a better review except that the GPU needs to be better. I had a dream of actually getting the external gpu. It is too expensive for what you get, so I wish I would have gone for a computer with a better internal gpu. Other than that it has been great. We use it for gaming (on game pass) and normal computing (on the google suite mostly)

Incredible small compact laptop !
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Incredible all around laptop that can just about do it all! Packing a very high end Ryzen CPU, a very decent performing RTX 3050Ti GPU that can pretty much run all AAA titles on High/Medium settings, what more can you ask for ! T

Good laptop but there's no pen or case in it.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall I'm happy with the product. For 1500usd its not exactly cheap. The issue lies with the bundle. For a creativity related laptop there is no pen or even a carrying case for this bundle, while both of these were included with the gtx 1650 version. I have been contacting asus to give me stylus specifications so that i can order a stylus, but no avail. Basically, for a premium laptop you expect something in the bundle.

My first ASUS laptop, pretty good!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good... I like this laptop. I have not used it with latest games but more as an office laptop. It runs very quiet (almost silent) and cool to the touch. My previous laptop was HP and it's faulty hinge caused the screen to crack. This ASUS laptops seems to have stronger hinges. The screen brightness also seems better. When you run in on battery power, it adjusts that brightness to lower level so it saves battery power. It also changes graphic cards from "add on" to internal. The only thing that I wish it had was a button or switch to turn off the webcam. My previous two laptops had that feature and with this one you have to go to Windows settings and disable it (more steps). I hope it will last me longer than a year! :)

Small but Powerful
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a little powerhouse! The AMD processor just kicks butt. I can play my games and still surf the web or play a video, no problem. The build quality is great.

Solid gaming laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this laptop is amazing for the price. The only thing I would change would be to use Nvme vs sdd. Fan can get loud as others have stated but overall hasn't been a deal breaker.

Pretty Good although it has a habit of creaking
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive had this laptop for almost a month now and have overall enjoyed my time with it. Within this month I have taken a one week work trip where I was able to play several games quite comfortably. While I have enjoyed the laptop I do notice that there are two points on the laptop that seem to creak when I close or adjust the lid. I have been able to pin point that this occurs on the bottom left corner of the display glass and to the left of the left microphone near the top bezzel.

Compact in size but big in power!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The size of the box through me off when I received the laptop. I was expecting the usual bulky gaming laptop that is like lugging around a full size gaming console. To my surprise the laptop actually takes up very little room in the box. At first I thought the laptop itself was an accessory because it was so small and thin. It weighs less than three pounds, however it feels very well made and sturdy. There are no flashy colors on the case but the texture looks really good. Once you get it up and running you forgot about the small size. The AX wireless card will get you connected to the latest wireless routers. The full HD screen looks amazing and the 120mhz refresh rate is super smooth with fast action. This is the first laptop where I was super amazed at the built in speaker quality. It utilizes Dolby Atmos and is as life-like as you can get. When playing a game with car sounds I actually thought they were outside my house at first. The keyboard is compact but easy to type on and the keys are well backlit. As with any compact computer you are limited on connection ports but it has one USB, HDMI and connection to even hook up an external graphics card housing so you could use it with a full size graphics card. The Ryzen 9 processor is plenty powerful enough for modern games and 16gb of GGR6 will give the power to push up gaming settings to max or very close. The 1050TI graphics has 4tb of memory that is more than enough running most games at a 1920X1080 resolution. I have played with several first person shooters and the latest racing games on the highest graphic settings. I never had an issue with performance however the cooling fan gets really loud and the top part of the keyboard gets so hot you cannot touch it for more than a few seconds. This is to be expected with so power in a compact case. This is a perfect compliment to any hard-core gamers primary gaming desktop for when they want to take their gaming on the go without having to sacrifice looks and performance. It addition, the 1tb solid state drive has plenty of storage for a fast library of games. I am very impressed and have not found anything negative other than some excessive heat and noise, but it is a tolerable trade-off for what it does so well in providing suburb gaming portability.

So far so good, WELL worth the price
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just ordered this a few days ago as I need a laptop for an IT job soon. This covers the need for protablilty AND light gaming. The battery life is...ok. 8 Hours max with battery saver turned on, using the iGPU instead of the 3050ti when not plugged in, and lowering the overall performance. Its REALLY snappy, as any new install of Windows would feel, and I'm planning on going for the Mobile Dock later when the demand isnt as crazy high for it.

Great Specs - Not for daily use
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best at its price. The laptop os has some pre-configured power modes that I am unable to override, so taking away a star. The display is great, the fan makes noise when connected to power, the battery lasts for 5 hours when on normal usage, so not so great for regular usage. The keyboard is comfortable to use and has adjustable backlighting.

Amazing
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this laptop. I was original not looking for a gaming laptop as I have a killer Desktop at home and need something to just be able to do remote work on my clients computers when I on the road. I need something light. This one checked all the boxes it has 16gb memory Ryzen 9, 1tb ssd and the 3050ti was just a plus. I have to say now I wish it had 32gb and a 3080ti and I have stated to play more games. I know I can buy an add on to give me that but the price is as much as the laptop. I do recommend this after looking and trying a few others.

Great Linux Gaming Laptop, except mediocre battery
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For anybody interested in running Linux on the ROG Flow, I'm happy to report that almost all issues are resolved as of linux kernel 5.15. I am running the latest version of PopOS (21.10), which has the newer kernel out of the box. The only 2 noticeable hardware issues are: 1. linux still can't detect tablet mode, so when you have the keyboard fully rotated, it does not disable the trackpad + keyboard. 2. fingerprint scanner doesn't work Besides that, though, everything works great: suspend, sound, hybrid graphics, webcam, touchscreen, pen, headphone jack, video out via usb-c, screen rotation, etc, are all working on newer linux kernels. As for downsides to this laptop, battery life is fairly mediocre; I can only get 4-4.5 hours of battery doing typical browsing, light work, etc. Also, while the 16:10 screen is great, I find myself wishing that there was a QHD option. Also, port selection is a bit lacking, but not a dealbreaker. One unacceptable issue is that Asus artifically restricts the 100w usb-c charging to their own charger, so all 3rd-party chargers are limited to 60w max. So even if you have perfectly safe USB-IF certified 100w chargers, they can't charge the x13 at full speed. Besides those downsides, I've been able to play all my steam games at a decent resolution and quality. Sure, this laptop might not be able to run 4k 240fps performance on the latest AAA games, but it's an excellent all-around productivity/gaming/travel computer. Overall, a solid device.
