Some hdmi issues, some flicketing, some didn’t fit at all. So i caved in and got this. Works flawlessly.

My only dislike is that the light on it doesn’t shut off when you shut off the Ally you have to go into the Allly’s Aurmory Crate and shut off manually.

It feels like a quality product. It has that heavy well made feel to it. My first annoyance with it is the USB C cable. You have to pinch and pull to get the ROG Xbox Ally unplugged from it. If everything else worked I'd have given this a 4 star rating. However when plugging in the Ally like other reviews have said it gives a message that there is not enough power. I followed the instructions provided to make sure I used the right powers on both the dock and Ally. I also went into Asus armory crate and installed the update for this dock. Rebooted and still got the low power notification. I then tried the same power cable directly into the Ally and no error. It seems to me that the 65W power adapter that comes with the Ally is not enough to power this dock and the Ally at the same time. If that is the case for the price they are charging it should have come with the appropriate adapter. I ended up returning it to get the 100W ROG quick charger that also functions as a dock.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m fine with paying for a $40 anchor wall plug and USB-C cord to power the dog device however what I’m not cool with is the USB ports randomly not powering my headset dongle unless it’s plugged in should be always on it was for a while it was always connected and now I get no audio through my headset and it’s incredibly difficult to select main output to the USB dongle headphones having big problems now before it was flawless and seamless never disconnected. It’s a pocket sized dock and it was great and now I’m having massive problems with my headset connecting, and I can’t even go into window settings because it has to be plugged in for the dongle to be powered, which is a little ridiculous I can’t do anything on my screen. It’s been fine for the past month but now I’m having problems.

You can also ad a keyboard and mouse. Also expand additional usb slots with a dungle. Buy the 100w charger too.

I tested this with ROG Ally X and Steam deck Pros Build quality compared to cheaper docks on the market Ports VRR via HDMI !!! Cons For the price I expect a charger to be included Requires 100W+ charger to get 30W mode on ROG Ally VRR doesn’t work on all tv’s (Yes mine is HDMI 2.1) Handheld feels wobbly and not stable
