The ROG Falchion Ace 75% gaming keyboard has performed well so far. In general, 75% keyboards have become my favorite sizing option, struggling to return to standard keyboards at my workplace. The keyboard has your expected RGB backlight lighting, with the backslash lights that ASUS has utilized throughout their product line if have other ROG devices. The keyboard does require to be plugged in, expected with available features in my option to ensure responsiveness, which I tend to prefer for desktop use. One of the largest features of this keyboard is the Magnetic Hall Effect - which prior to this keyboard I was not specifically familiar with. The actuation point for the keys is able to be customized to be responsive depending on key press/pressure, to almost barely touching the key to needing a normal standard press of the key. This does result in necessity for various settings depending on task. For instance having quick response while gaming, while if doing clerical work, the more sensitive setting definitely results in extra keystrokes (double a, triple dashes) for myself - but at work I am used to the clunkiest keyboards so with time my fingers adjust regardless. Solid hardware with the biggest draw being ability to adjust the actuation point, which does have an adjustment wheel to allow for quick switching. Quiet as well, definitely less clunky than my previous keyboard. There is also an included carry case, allowing for travel if using for gaming. No wrist rest though, using my other 75% keyboards without issue. Overall, this keyboard revealed a point of adjustment that I was not accustomed to, in a good way and have enjoyed experiencing the variations in keyboard use with the active changing of actuation point.

ASUS really went all out with this ROG Falchion Ace keyboard. Right out of the box, you can tell it's a premium product (and one meant to take with you) from the included protective case that is custom made for the keyboard to the high-end cable and then the weight of the keyboard itself (it's hefty though not TOO heavy - but it certainly has a premium feel to it). This is a quality item that will last. When you start typing - even without it plugged in - you can immediately tell that there's a premium actuation force and feel to the keyboard. The switches (which are hot-swappable) have a great linear feel and have been highly dampened to make it a fairly quiet typing experience as well. The touch controls on the top row work well and are highly intuitive to use as well (including the wheel that changes the actuation point of the keys). You can HIGHLY customize the keys to respond just how you want - to a light tap or need a deeper press - and to the way you type. And you can quickly change between profiles that are suitable for office work vs gaming (if you want different actuation points for example). Of course the keyboard brings the expected RGB lighting which is easy to customize to your tastes (I really prefer an understated single color just to help with low light typing). And the theming matches other ROG gear, but it also can blend into nearly any environment. So if you're in the market for a 75% / compact keyboard with all the bells and whistles (except, notably, wireless), this is a great option. Give it a try today!

This gaming keyboard works way better than the keyboard on my laptop or a regular keyboard for a desktop. It is wired but I have no issues with that. It connects easily to my computer and lights up the minute I connect. It comes in a very nice looking, sturdy case to protect it when Im not using it. I can store my keyboard, the wire and even my gaming mouse. Its also comes in handy for travel. The case feels well made. The kind of case that will last for years. As far as the functionality of this keyboard, I also rate it 5 stars. i like how I can hear the clicks of the keys and how smoothly the transitions are. It molds easily to my hands making it comfortable for playing vs a controller. I also like how sensitive the keys are so it makes gaming easier by not having to press so hard on the keys. A nice little bonus is the key remover that comes with the keyboard. It makes removing keys so easy. Only downside is it took a little time to learn how to use it, as some of the directions were confusing, but overall a great gaming keyboard that makes gaming fun! I love how colorful the lights are too even though you cannot adjust the color of the lights. It randomly does change colors on its own. However, I can change the brightness of the lights which is nice.

I have to admit I’m somewhat addicted to keyboards. After all, not all keyboards are created equal. I’ve used plenty of full sized and small keyboards. But finding just the right size has been a challenge. I think that has changed now with the ASUS - ROG Falchion Ace 75%. This Falchion 75% really seems to hit the sweet spot. It’s small enough to be portable if needed but it’s also large enough to work comfortably as an everyday keyboard as well. The built quality is very nice. And the included travel case is a well made nice extra touch. Some may prefer a wireless keyboard but myself I prefer wired. Particularly for gaming. The keys feel great with just the right amount of travel for my taste. This is an area of a gaming keyboard that is really a matter of personal preference. But I do think most gamers will find the gaming experience with this keyboard to be really good. If you are looking to use it as an everyday keyboard you will find it works equally as well and the slightly smaller size works great for most desktop setups. The one thing I found a bit quirky is the touch panel on the back (I use it for volume mostly). It works fine, but it takes a little getting used to having it on the back. And it takes a little practice to make subtle adjustments. I guess I’m just used to using dials instead. Overall this is an amazing keyboard that I think any gamer would enjoy.
