Wasn’t what they advertised Add stated it had two hard drives but actually only had one

These computers suck. I've had 2 of them so far, and they both quit working.

So i am upgrading from a 2009 mac. so my bar is set pretty low right now all things considered. It has a lot of nice things that i really like and really only one thing that i dont like which is personal preference and more of a me thing. I like the speed. I like the keyboard. I like the design and the lights. I like the price and what you get for that price. but i dont like that you cant scroll on the mouse pad. awefully small for something to nitpick but there it is.

This laptop is lagging so much. I had it gor a day and its too slow

This is my second Asus gaming laptop, the first being a G46. Since the first one was impressive, I had no doubt in purchasing a second. This G531gt slimline gaming laptop is a crowning point in their legacy brand. I'm so impressed with the speed, graphics and lightweight aspect of this monster. I play Division series on it and it's been flawless. The fans are quiet, the FPS is a rock steady 60FPS and that's without using their OC system that it comes with. 120Hertz refresh on a laptop is awesome.... geez my desk top doesn't have that! Asus hasn't disappointed me yet, neither will they for you !

Lasted me 5 years on medium graphics! First gaming computer, very pleased.

Purchased this on sale for 849.99 thinking it was such a steal. I am in the market for an upgrade to a current laptop which handles my needs very well. One of the main features I want my upgrade to have is a higher refresh rate on the display. Seeing this advertised at 120hz and the Asus rep. who also stated it was 120hz in the Q&A, I bought it early this morning before my local Best Buy opened to secure what I thought was an incredible steal. However, upon setting it up, it is indeed only a 60hz panel. I probably should have expected as much from the price point, but man am I disappointed. It's still a solid unit for what it's worth, but I will be returning this as the main specification I bought it for does not exist.

My first gaming laptop so its a great price for entry level so far im able to run all the games i want to play at ultra or high even some at extreme! Im able to get a solid 60fps on games like Apex on ultra or even some at 160fps on high! overall its great i would recommend it and maybe a ram upgrade tho!!

This computer not only looks great but also feels great. The stainless steel base of the laptop feels like it won't break anytime soon. The power port is on the back rather than the side so you won't have any cords in the way which is a plus for me. There are a few things I would suggest improving on this. The gap between the hinge joint and the screen on the right side could be smaller. The LED indicator lights could be moved all the way to the top right. The charging LED light could be on either side of the charging port. I would also recommend having a red LED indicator status for "Charging" and green LED indicator status for "Fully Charged" so it is easy to know if it is charged or not at a glance. The cons... I don't like the fact that I have to look over the laptop to check LED indicator status. That's really my only complaint. Overall, rock solid laptop with excellent performance with a price tag to match.

Great computer, it helped me during all my engineer carrer! Runs games perfectly and programs like Autocad and more

I have had this laptop for close to a month now and I really enjoy it. My main use for this comes via light gaming, Microsoft office use, Schoolwork, and programming as well. This computer is able to handle it all and then some. The only complaint I have is the battery life. You will definitely have to back the charger with you if you plan on staying somewhere for more than 3 hours. From full charge to 0%, I'd say I get about 4ish hours out of this laptop. A bit of an inconvenience, but all the others specs make up for it. While I for one don't really mind the refresh rate misleading, it is still a quality display. All in all, I am happy with the purchase and this seems to be my daily driver for the foreseeable future.

I really wanted to give this laptop a 5-star review, However, the keyboard is so buggy! It works like 80% of the time then it decides to not respond at all! I have to restart the computer multiple times before the keyboard starts to work again. I looked up to see if there were any fixes for this issue and apparently its a known Asus laptop issue. I uninstalled/reinstalled keyboard drivers as well as reformatting the computer. I hope no one else gets this issue. I might return this mofo for another model. Lets see if I can figure this keyboard issue out.

This laptop is amazing, I play a lot of games on it while doing school work and staying organized. It has gone through rough treatment from moving and accidentally being dropped and it’s still amazing. I’ve had it for 5 years now and I wouldn’t change a thing about purchasing it

With the SSD, it boots up extremely fast. Plenty of storage space. A well balanced graphics card to play most of the games out there with no needed upgrades. Since the RAM is upgradable to 32 GB it should handle upcoming games with little to no problems. A great laptop at a great price.

This laptop was my first time buying a pc it was able to run the games I played. It couldn’t really run warzone but it was decent. I still have it and runs about the same as when I bought it

It's the perfect paptop. From battery life to screen quality this computer has it all. The 9th Gen i7 has insane clock speeds and stays rather cool and quiet. The 1650 geforce from nvidia is the perfect mobile GPU for any average / competitive gaming. 4gb a Vram u cannot beat that in a 1000 dollar laptop . Wish it had more ram though but it is upgradeable

The battery and fan are powerful and long-lasting, so you don't have to worry about the computer overheating! I use my computer all day and it works fine.
