I have only had this laptop for about 12 hours. So far I love everything about it. Will update review if any issues come up.

Seriously? What laptop doesn’t come with a webcam? I didn’t even check for it before purchasing this because, well, every laptop has had one for 10 years! That being said the screen and hardware are solid for the price.

My old laptop gave out suddenly while I was working on an assignment, so I got this as an emergency replacement. This was such a good buy, almost a year later and it's still working amazingly! I run both premiere and Pro Tools with ease!

We use this as a live streaming computer at my house of worship, so it's purpose is limited, but critical. If it fails in the middle of a service, we're completely knocked off air. After nearly 1 year of use, it's performed flawlessly.

This laptop is top notch, lightning fast. I had a Sony Vaio and it was old and took forever to launch. This one takes seconds to open and navigate files or the internet. No regrets in this purchase and will keep this laptop a long time!

Really enjoy the looks and smooth operation of this PC. Surfing the web, emailing and all of your every day stuff is smooth and fast. Mainly using it for in home recording and production. Has everything I need and is capable of being upgraded if needed.

Its been a good laptop for GNS3 simulator and other similar simulators. I don't need it for high end gaming so I can't review that portion of it. The design isn't high end visually but laptop feels sturdy and not cheap.

Graphics are good and the weight and feel is perfect for sitting it on your lap or on the bed. Fan gets really loud, you'll want to combine this with a cooling tray to really get the most out of it.

9th gen , 1650 is all you need for 1080 p games. You don't need higher resolutions to play in a laptop. The refresh rate is ideal. This laptop stay school as a champ, believe me I had an aero 15x... sadly the game industry is trying to convince us we need more power but you don't need anything far stronger.

So, first off, I got this laptop on sale for 600 dollars I believe so it was a steal for what it is. It plays most AAA titles in medium to high settings 1080p 50-60fps. CPU temps do tend to get a little high but never seem to pass 87°c. I will probably get some better thermal paste in the future to help lower that temp. The screen is a 1080p display at 60hz which means that you should cap all your games no higher than 60fps since it wont get higher than that due to the refresh rate. Now despite the good things, here's the bad: the Sata cable that came in closed with the laptop was damaged which means I couldn't use the 1tb hard drive I purchased. I ordered a new one but still havent received it so unfortunately I'm limited to the ssd storage and an external hard drive. Very unfortunate since the cable that comes with it isnt exactly a universal one. On to my second conplaint: I've had the laptop for about two months now and I already have three dead pixels on screen, not the end of the world but its distracting in game and honestly I shouldn't be having these issues two months in. My third issue: the screen occasionally freaks out and blacks out for about two seconds always three times in a row and it can be extremely annoying especially when you're gaming. And my last issue: the power brick has a connection that plugs into the laptop, the connection in the power brick is incredibly loose and honestly I'm pretty sure it's going to break soon which means I'll be spending more money on this two month old laptop which sucks. So all in all, solid laptop but wait for a sale if you can. And a side note, buy a second 8gb memory stick, you'll thank me.

capable for upgrading ram and adding and extra ssd im not big into computers but this has been a great help while I was in tech school for the Air Force. I got to play games with my wife on this laptop with no problems.

Love this laptop i do the occasional gaming on it i mostly use it for Autocad super fast and clear never have a lag issue and love the fact i can mess with fan speed when needed.

Absolutely perfect. I’ve purchased a few laptops lately for casual gaming and I’ve come into problems with terrible keyboards or heating issues. This baby, is perfect and runs great!! Definitely recommend to anyone with a tight budget looking for gaming!

Great computer, runs everything I need it to perfectly with everything being able to run 60 fps constant at around High-Ultra graphics settings. Higher screen refresh rate would be nice but it doesn't impede anything

I can't believe how fast this laptop is. I never knew my games would actually run this fast!

Really pleased with this laptop. Plays LoL easily and even games like ac7, gta5, wildlands at decent settings. I would recommend to anyone looking for a cost efficient solution when your wife takes over your gaming rig.

Literally everything I needed in a gaming computer for streaming to Twitch. It may chug a bit if you're trying to stream high end settings of AAA games, but otherwise I haven't run into any issues with it and love it!

For all intense purpose, this review is subjective to how I use the laptop and as of now it is working well and completing the intended purpose of purchasing the laptop.

This gaming laptop is the best one i've ever gotten. I get the best experience on this gaming laptop and it is very fast. I suggest you buy a good quality game monitor.

The ASUS ROG G531GT definitely met my expectations for a new laptop. Sleek black design with illuminated keyboard. I use this laptop for work and streaming videos and social media. Great product and price.
