Thoughts after buying this, upgrades, cons
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall it is a good pc especially if you cant get ahold of the GPU by itself due to scrappers. I did not have a problem with stock or delivery. When I was waiting for it I had trouble finding specs so here is a list. I still cannot find some of the brands of the parts but here is what I found. Cpu- Ryzen 7 3700X (The cooler is a cheap version, Not the Wraith version) GPU-ASUS Phoenix 3060 (the fan is not a double like the picture states, but it is still great) Motherboard-Asus B550 Prime A (small mobo, don't need to upgrade it now, but may in a year or two) RAM-1x 16GB RAM(offbrand) SSD- Western Digital 256gbNVMe HDD-Toshiba 1TB hard drive (can't find exact part) Case-some version of Asus Rog Strix case (too small for most upgrades) PSU-I honestly don't know( I have heard reviews say it's a great wall 500w, 600w, or 750w) Overall I am happy with what I got as you can't get a 3060 for a good price. As seen in most ASUS Pcs it needs a better case and cooling. Potential Upgrades- New Case (I'm doing NZXT h510i) New Cpu cooler( I would go w AIO such as NZXT x63 or corsair) Dual Channel Ram( I would switch to dual channel ram and take out current since AMD works better with a dual-channel) Better Fans( literally any fans but the ones it comes with) I'm no expert so do not take this review for a fact. All of these upgrades are for future-proofing and making it ideal for me. It functions fine and it won't die right out of the box. I have had it for 3 days. I would change the frequency of both the CPU and GPU to a safer speed until you get better cooling so they are not running so hot. I am also not a big fan of OC so I turned down my settings. I used MSI afterburner and the system BIOS to change these settings. I bought this computer for 250 off on black Friday so it was a good price, thus wait for a good price before you buy it. Congratulations on making it to the end of the review.
