For me it’s the quietest computer I’ve ever owned. As for heat issues I haven’t owned it long enough to comment , but given there is no mechanical drive, I expect that will not be an issue. Overall I’m happy with my purchase.

It was some to set up and to figure out how to switch out the panel. It's very quiet and doesn't take up much space in my apartment

Just needed something for an everyday computer as well as my daughters gaming and she absolutely loves this. Zero issues with any aspect. She runs a dual screen and plays games while doing homework.

It can handle pretty much any game with average fps and even though it’s a bit on the loud side you won’t hear it while wearing headphones. I highly recommend that people should buy this.

The LED lightshow is a nice feature, but is definitely not important. One thing I am not happy about is the CPU fan seems to be a little loud at times. I may consider swapping in the future.

I was going to build my own machine, but do not have the energy nor time. This machine works well for flight simulation. Wait and see for anything else. Right now I fly the friendly skies.

Good Base Gaming PC to Build From

Please be aware that it will take some extra money put into it to make it a great gaming PC. Things that I would, and have, replace to make this PC better are the fans (super noisy), memory, added SSD, and removed ALL Asus software (really buggy and causes errors). The graphics card is solid enough for now. The biggest complaints I have about this PC is the noise from the fans and Asus preloaded software.

Indeed, it is a good base gaming PC.
We do understand your concern about the fan noise. It is normal just like any other brand with the same hardware configuration, for the fan to spin at full-throttle and generates noise louder than normal while the PC is under heavy load like gaming, especially during the initial WINDOWS setup and WINDOWS Update installation. Also, the fan noise will be louder while antivirus software or malware are running continuously in the background. Please check the system was not compromised by viruses or malware by doing a full system scan using an internet security software or application. When system resource utilization is high, this will generate more heat than normal and tends to trigger the fan to spin at full-throttle and noise will be louder than normal. It does decreases or normalizes once utilization goes down.
