Posted .Dear Enzo,
We certainly understand your concern about the ventilation and quality of the hardware.
All ASUS products are manufactured using materials that are in compliance with industry's quality standard. The Desktop PC went into an intensive quality control testing and inspections and there was no problem found with the ventilation. To maintain an optimum and efficient heat dissipation, please ensure the air ventilations are free from obstructions in order to have an efficient air flow for better heat dissipation. While gaming, please ensure no system resource hungry applications are running in the background, this will definitely speak the temperature. The heat or temperature does decreases or normalizes once system resource utilization goes down.
If you need further assistance, please let me know and I will be more than happy to help. Or, you are always welcome to call Product Support Hotline at: 1(888) 678-3688. Also, you can chat with an ASUS live support agent at: http://bit.ly/AsusLiveChat.
Thank you for choosing an ASUS product.

Good but with exceptions
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pretty good pc and would have been perfect if the cpu cooling system wasn’t really bad. Usually went 80-95C with the original, but add a corsair icue h100i elite capellix (might not be able to fit all four screws so just the two on top) and now it never goes over 60C. And maybe add a bit more ram to it. It’s a five star pc if you added more cooling, but i don’t think adding an extra $200 to an already $1750 computer is worth it. Probably better off buying a different computer.

Great PC, bad case.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great build. Just some issues with the case. The power button broke off while inside the box. I can't manually turn off/on my PC now unless I take off the case. I personally have not had issues with cooling as others have described. I think if you make a good effort to keep it in a cool place, it will be just fine. The PC survived being in a hot car turned off for two days with no issues once brought into my dorm. I wish there was an easy fix for the power button. I might have to speak to ASUS about getting it fixed.

You'll have to modify the system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're looking for a plug and play system, just stop right here. It's not going to happen even in your wildest dreams. When I first booted this system up (3070) it sounded like a jet turbine getting ready to go into supersonic flight. Kidding aside the exhaust fan is about as loud as a vacuum cleaner, seriously. You'll hear it through your headphones and you'll disturb anyone else in your household. If you run this out of the box, the noise will be excessive and as you have already figured out, the thermal performance will be less than ideal. Simply put you will not get the full performance the individual components are capable of out of the box. You will be thermal throttled period if you play games. Read what other reviewers have done to their systems and decide if you're willing to do that. Yes, it will take you dollars and hours to get it right. Weigh this against other prebuilt units and you'll see that you'll barely come out ahead. If you're comparing items and mulling it over, seriously just spend the extra on your prebuilt and save yourself the labor.

Posted .Dear Valued Customer,
It's unfortunate to hear about your experience with the unit not performing as expected. All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control, testing, and inspections. What you've experienced was not intentional and this was a random case. Have you adjusted the graphics settings? Please ensure to keep your Windows OS up to date. I like it HOT HOT HOT
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really needs a better cooler for the CPU. Sold this to someone who complained about the CPU overheating. Offered to fix it by re-installing the cooler Case is also terrible for airflow and should be swapped. Other than that the parts are good to be used in another build for barely over current retail

Posted .Dear Duda,
We do understand your concern about thermal issues.
It is normal for the PC generating more heat than normal while under heavy load especially during gaming, WINDOWS Update and antivirus scan. When system resource utilization is high, this will generate more heat than normal and tends to trigger the fan to spin at full-throttle. Please ensure the air ventilations are free from obstructions in order to have an efficient air flow for better heat dissipation. While gaming, please ensure no system resource hungry applications are running in the background, this will definitely speak the temperature. The heat or temperature does decreases or normalizes once system resource utilization goes down.

Upgraded cooling is a must!!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this as an open box to save a few bucks and besides the cooling issue it really is a great PC for the money. The stock Intel CPU cooler is absolute garbage, running between 80-100°C without a load. I replaced it with a noctua CPU cooler and a threw a few fans in it. Now running at 40-60° consistently so over all not too bad for but be prepared to spend about $100 extra on cooling.

Not To Bad
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a pretty nice PC for the specs. If you’re able to invest in an additional $100-$200 dollars for cpu cooler and fans then it’s worth it.

Handles pretty good, the fans are little noisy
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Now spending a few weeks on this pc I haven’t experience any crashes or shutting down yet. Even with streaming about 4 hours or more it was still okay. But I do agree with the reviews when it comes to fans nosies, the more you spent time with it. (Even with quiet setting it’s still gets little load) other then that I’m fine with it. also I would recommend that you got the skills to switch the case, unless the fan noise bother you.
