I purchased july 30 and received Aug 3 and the "30 day" replacement as it states on this page is false. The PC stopped working(turning on) sept 16th which is about 45 days after I got the PC shipped and I paid way too much to not get it fixed for free rather than being told to go to geek squad, and told to contact the manufacturer to get help. I will no longer be buying anything from best buy. They do not stand behind the items they sell.

We're sorry to hear about the unfortunate experience you're having with the fan on this model. The noise that is emitting from the computer is known as coil whine. When the electrical current is increased to a certain point, the magnetic field around the coil can cause it to vibrate, which produces the whiny sound. After a short amount of time the noise should go away as the components regulates. However, if it is that the sound is too much for you, then we would recommend that you have this device sent in for servicing.

I just got this 2 weeks ago and it was working fine. Then I come home from work and it will not power up. I called tech support and they had me 'reset' it and it still won't work. Now I have to take this back since I did a progressive leasing agreement and have to wait for the lease to be stopped and then start a new one to get another computer. That's a 2 week wait. Don't get this.
