Worth only for the current market, unhappy
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Keep in mind that no one would have bought this prebuilt had it not been for the GPU shortage. Had there been no shortage, many other companies would have provided much better cases with the same specs, at the same price range, in stock. The hardware you get is absolutely fantastic for the price, GIVEN THE SHORTAGE. This is because the individual parts come up to a price range similar to this prebuilt's price. However, a few minutes after running some deep learning python simulations for my work, it shut down within a few minutes. I removed the side panel, took a desktop fan at full speed directly towards the interior, and it was still hitting ~95 degrees celcius. While it is true that the PC will actually not overheat if you use it with lighter applications, that's a moot point since you wouldn't be buying this beast if you were only going to use it for lighter applications. If you are risking voiding warranty and change the cpu cooler, as well as the case, do so, especially if you really need a PC. Otherwise, wait for a better deal.

Needs some more fans..
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was told that the rtx 3089 tuf gaming non-oc card was non-ti and non-lhr but that was not true! No wonder they are all in stock.. but the tower is pretty good.. the card is a beast.. only thing is u gotta add a couple more fans in the tower and change the cpu fan to a aio liquid cooling system.

Good gaming machine. No it does not run too Hot.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Read a bunch of reviews about how hot it was. Read one that the heat was fine. So I bought a pack of 3 fans in anticipation. Well I got my desktop today and the heat is just fine. While downloading all my games and writing this review the cpu still idles between 44 and 63 C. Just like my current system 7900X with an AIO. Fan and system is silent while installing all my software. GPU idles at around 54 C a little warm compared to my Vega 64 that idles at 40 C. The GPU is an ASUS TUF (NON OC) boost clock of 1710. Looking at the part number it does not look like a LHR so miners can rejoice. It must be the miners complaining about the heat. The design is kinda poor. The 3080 blows hot air like no GPU I have ever worked with. It stays cool even during games never exceeding 75 C. IE the CPU temperature is cooler than my reference Vega 64, but the Vega 64 was a blower and didn't dump hot air into the case. To match a axial hot air paired with a fan cpu cooler probably isn't the best idea, but even playing games MechWarrior 5 with Ray Tracing on at maximum was just fine and the fan was not loud. Interesting enough the Vega64 blower is louder and for that matter even my AIO triple radiator fans are louder than the case or CPU fan in this system. Note: I didn't have to update the BIOS. I checked and it shipped with the latest. Perhaps this helped as there were reported quirks with the fan settings for older levels. Very please with no bloatware! Only MyAsus and frankly I want to keep it for easy updates. I have not installed my 3 fans I purchased out of concern and I frankly don't see any reason to do so. Will probably return the fans to Amazon. Like so much in our crazy modern world. The reviews were full of hot air and at least for me not even remotely what I am experiencing. Very happy with my purchase.

Asus is terrible.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The gpu and cpu are excellent, I was going to give higher rating for that alone but the frustrations were just too much. Cooling? NOPE. None. Garbage. Loud, inefficient, small, its just awful. Motherboard. I don't know WHAT asus was doing with this thing. Asus bios are atrocious, I literally had to replace the motherboard to get the pc to regularly boot due to unresolvable issues with no support anywhere to be found. Case is tiny, can barely fit anything in it, originally tried a vetroo v5 with a couple of fans after having to break part of the case in the front to mount them to it, it was better, much better than before but still not ideal. I eventually got an msi z590 wifi pro and msi Gungnir case, and corsair 280mm aio cooler, runs like a champ now that I got the asus out of it.

CPU cooler is inadequate for the i7-11700KF
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PC can run most games at 4K high settings, but the CPU cooler is not appropriate for this processor. The 92mm fan gets crazy loud if any CPU-intensive task runs, even for a short period. When the machine boots up, there are lots of things during Windows startup that take 100% CPU and just cause bursts of noise. If they couldn’t fit a bigger heatsink into this machine they should’ve gone with a lower power CPU or done liquid cooling.

Posted .Dear Valued Customer,
It's unfortunate to hear that the CPU cooler is not cooling as expected. What is the average temp on load? Is it shutting down? Have you tried to disable some of your auto start-up apps? Solid hardware, Poor Cooling.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The computer case and CPU fan provides inadequate cooling, but the rest of the PC hardware are good and works as intended. For today's overpriced GPU market, the price on this PC is solid. Just be prepared to replace the CPU fan and add more fans, or replace the case. A small investment to make a stable computer run.

Poor cooling
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice overall componets but why cheap out on cooling, the little 92mm CPU cooler just can't cool that 11700KF 300w moster boost. And you get no room for this case to add watercooler. I have to open the side when using it gaming and it sounds like a jet engine...

Hot PC but you get a 3080.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like all other reviews the issue with this PC is the cooling. But you get one of my favorite 3080s Asus TUF non OC. OC is just a gimic. Ive been able to overclock this card better than OC versions. OC version just have been tested to overclock but that doesnt mean the non OC cards cant perform just as well.

Look at other options for a 3080 build
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you’re looking for a 3080 prebuilt I would suggest looking for other options first. This build isn’t super high quality. The case is one of the main problems. It only has one exhaust fan, and no intake fans. The total number of fans you can have in this case is one. You can’t add any more fans because there is no room. Like others have said, this causes some temperature issues. The ram is basic ram and if you want an rgb build you will want to switch it out. However, this ram does not work with other systems. I think the ram is locked to the motherboard. The motherboard is also a proprietary motherboard by Asus and you cannot overclock on it. The 3080 that comes in the build is the Asus TUF Non OC version of anyone is wondering.

Great PC with bad Cooling
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great PC at this value especially during the current market conditions. Case RGB is great and the parts overall are solid. The cooling definitely needs to be upgraded. Cinebench R23 causes the CPU to hit 95C+. A better CPU tower cooler or an AIO are a must as well as more case fans to increase airflow in the case

Good pc just needs a cooler upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really good for the price case is a little small could be a positive for some but I would prefer more space to add a cooler. A cooler upgrade will be necessary. I have added fans and limited PCU power until I can get an aio the biggest you can fit is a 240mm.

Great machine for the price I got it at.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this on a really good sale. The value at the sale price was very good, but not really at full price. I did not buy it for gaming really but for my wife who works from home all day long. I needed endurance. So far it seems to be pretty solid. I noted the heat issue everyone mentions but I figure at least while it is under warranty it will stay in this configuration. Once it is out of warranty I will look at case/ventilation/cooling upgrades. Lighting effects are pretty cool. Configuration of the Asus ROG software/updates it kind of hands on but if you are experienced then it is ok. A little more automatic notifications of updates would be nice but not really necessary. The graphics are pretty sweet! Upgradability is also there so room to grow.

Good for the price amidst low GPU stocks
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At this point in time, this is the best 3080 PC you can get in this price range. While it may not have the best cooling, you can add a few more fans to improve performance. It comes with a B560 motherboard which is great.

Needs Some Work
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As others have stated this case & setup causes multiple heating issues that out of the box needs to be addressed. Even for light gaming it thermal throttles and cant be good for component longevity. So be prepared to add multiple fans or do the recommended changes as others have outlined. Still it is a pretty high spec system that once issues addressed has pretty great capabilities.

Great parts build but a crap case and cpu cooler
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The parts in the system such as the motherboard, cpu, & gpu are pretty good considering the aftermarket price on a 3080 is insane. But the system as a whole is flawed. Like others have said this system overheats a lot. I couldn’t play a single game for more than 10 minutes before it would shut down due to over heating. But if you willing to spend a little bit move and move the system into a case that will support liquid cooling then this is a great deal. But ASUS should have tested the cooling on this before putting it into production. I’ve been build pc’s for over 20 years and when I looked at the air cooler on this rig I instantly knew this was the cause of the over heating and shutting down issue. If your looking for a 3080 and want a cpu upgrade then get this system. But beware you will need to invest in a new case and cpu cooler.

Works well, but poor cooling system
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works well, but the cooling system is really bad. The fan near the cpu and vent is really loud, so I will have to add a couple fans near the top. Lighting is pretty cool although I don't actually care about the aesthetic that much
