PC obviously has the overheat problem and the case is damaged because clearly it fell out of the box at some point during delivery. the UPS guy even marked it as probable damaged. now I have to go through the replacement process probably to have the same issues. just to tweak the hell out of the thing. on top of that there's no way to update the BIOS because there is no bios on your website. it's a asus motherboard that doesn't exist apparently. just feel so sketchy. for 2k

He has been wanting a gaming pc for awhile. We look at another one and went to Best Buy in Lake Worth TX to make the purchase. The sale guy helping us actually let us know about this particular one and it was $300 cheaper and better. When I picked it up a week later I saw it was on sale at Best Buy for $300 cheaper and Best Buy price match it. My son absolutely loves his gaming pc.

Too Hot

In a 67F room with a ceiling fan above it and sitting with open air all around running an old game it was running in the high 70c and low 80c temps. When switching to a newer game multiple cores and overall were in the mid to high 90c range. The design is terrible for this PC and its components. Yes its cheaper to fix the problem by upgrading parts, but why pay this manufacturer for a faulty design.

It's unfortunate to hear that the unit is overheating. Certainly, during gaming, the CPU/GPU temp will increase more than normal. It is normal for the desktop, with the same hardware configuration and regardless of the manufacturer, to generate more heat than normal while under heavy load, especially during gaming, WINDOWS Update, and antivirus scan. When system resource utilization is high, this will generate more heat than normal and tends to trigger the fan to spin at full throttle. Please ensure the air ventilations are free from obstructions in order to have an efficient airflow for better heat dissipation. While gaming, please ensure no resource-hungry applications are running in the background, this will definitely spike the temperature. The heat or temperature decreases or normalizes once system resource utilization goes down. Nice build, bad cooling

A single fan for a powerful GPU and CPU is just not a good idea. Add a fan or two if you plan on doing any serious gaming with it.

However this thing is capable of gaming for hours you jut have to know the trick in order to get it to run longer than 5 mins. Heating up over 100 degrees from simple surfing TIP go into the BIOS and turn of CPU TURBO BOOST just turn them all off. Yes you will be taking a hit on your frames if you bought a warranty like me but you'll be able to game at reasonably good frame rates without fighter jet sound effects.

There's a possibility that there are background apps and Windows updates causing the unit to perform as it does. What we've observed with the Windows 10 operating system is that once the unit is not being used all background and installed apps including Windows updates will fire up. We would recommend that you check for and install updates. This will cause the unit to run a bit hotter than normal and in turn ramp up the fan speed.

It has has good memory and storage options, excellent WIFI connectivity, and its good-looking case. It's really compact and sleek design. It seems as if this is an art display. One thing it could improve is the heat dissipation could use some additional fan. Overall, I would buy it and recommend to anyone

We're sorry to hear about the unfortunate experience you're having with the unit running loud. The noise that is emitting from the computer is known as coil whine. When the electrical current is increased to a certain point, the magnetic field around the coil can cause it to vibrate, which produces the whiny sound. After a short amount of time the noise should go away as the components regulates. Perfect except for RAM

The system was restarting itself in an endless cycle, the rgb did not function properly at all and this is all factory out the box brand new so i mean at that point can you even trust anything about this build or that any other parts are functioning properly?

Horrendous Cooling

It's unacceptable. It overheats so much it causes games to throttle horribly. And I'm worried about switching out the cooler as it may void the warranty. How can Asus gimp out on something this essential. Asus please let me know what I can do that doesn't involve returning this to the store, thanks.

Runs all games smoothly such as all cods, apex, minecraft and warzone. However I would recommend an extend storage, by the brand seagate. Downloaded lots of games so my spaced filled up already nothing bad about the pc, just love playing lots of games so my space filled up, but like I said Everything about it is great. 10/10
