Needs cooling
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pretty solid computer just needs better cooling i upgraded to a aio h100i like everyone recommended i mounted it as exhaust also if you purchase additional ram or better ram buy low profile as the aio is pressed on the ram a little and i also added two sp120 for intake in the front it was a tight fit & i switched the 92mm fan on the back of the case to exhaust as well. Cpu temps and gpu dont go above 58c

Stay away from open box desktop
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I brought an "excellent" condition open box item. I was expecting something like new. However, when I got it, the package box was dirty and worn. It looks like very old. The user manual is also very dirty inside. I turned on the machine, the fan spins like crazy and it shutted down suddenly. I found the CPU cooler was totally loose and the CPU easily got over 100C. What is even worse, I found the GPU was bent and the there was a gap between vram and the heatsink! This machine is totally a garbage to me if the GPU is also defective! It must be abused, far away from "excellent". They didn't check it carefully before selling it to the next customer. So disappointment. I will never buy any open box item again. If there's new item available, I may consider.

Retuned it
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The price is right, and so is the video card - but it's simply too hot and too loud. If you upgrade the cooling or put it in a new case it'd be fine - but both of those void your warranty. I returned mine - the amount of fan noise and clear lack of airflow makes me think these may start to fail for chronic overheating. Look at the photos - there's a CPU cooler and then a really small back exhaust fan - those are the only cooling components. And the front has very little airflow because of plastic pieces. The top is vented but again covered by plastic. I think the case was designed for much less powerful CPUs and video cards and they just put them in to have something more expensive to sell. This simply needs a bigger case with more airflow.

The best for the price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As soon as I got the PC home, I took the side glass off, went into the BIOS and adjusted the FAN curves, so they kick in early, not giving the CPU time to overheat. I plan on adding more later, but for now, even with the stock ones, the computer itself performs A LOT better than expected, especially after reading some of the reviews here. I installed NiceHash on it and I'm getting similar results to a previously purchased build that has a 3090, all because this one has better cooling when it comes to the GPU itself. I'm VERY impressed with the overall results and the performance of this machine. I'll probably buy another one .. or two

Don't listen to the naysayers!!!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For all the naysayers out there this is an amazing machine. If you just break down the parts this is unbeatable. The two simple fixes adding the Vetroo V5 cooler and adding a case fan are easy to do plenty of videos on YouTube. If you are returning this because it's running too hot this is an easy fix and you're not going to be able to find these parts or build a system anywhere else you're crazy if you don't keep it. My son ordered the same system last week. I've had three other people purchased the same system.

Terrible cooling!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Terrible cooling in this machine. Disappointed. It runs the fans at max more than 70% of the time. It's so loud and sounds like a jet engine literally. The inside gets so hot. There are no where near enough fans to cool this. Returning!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Turns off every 30 minutes. The cpu cooler it came with cannot psychically cool the cpu so it causes the computer to turn off every 30 minutes. THE CPU COOLER THEY USE IS NOT EVEN 10$ If you dont mind completely voiding your warranty and having to spend another 300+ dollars to have this computer run NORMAL no heatsinks on ram on a 2000$ computer? Are you serious? and having to wait hours to get hung up on go ahead. This has to be the worst experience i have ever had with prebuilt pcs spending this much money. I will never be purchasing an asus prebuilt ever again and i recommend staying away unless you dont mind voiding your warranty and having to spend 300$ and rebuild the WHOLE pc.

Posted .Dear Earnie,
We do understand your disappointment with the product and the inconvenience this may have caused if you experienced auto-shutdown and if it took a long tiime to have a customer service agent helped you.
The CPU cooler works well, it was fully-tested,, and the long wait for customer service are random issues.
The desktop PC is a complete and fully-configured system that can handle power-hungry games or applications without compromising system stability and performance.

Awesome but not usable out of the box.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think theres not a single review that is not mentioning the cooling issues with this "build". Reacing 100c in standby! But I've bought it for 1599$, which is an awesome deal for the components you get. First i got the ID Cooling Frostflow 240 AIO, front mounted, teared the front metal frame piece off. And installed a 120mm Noctua NF-P12 fan on the top using zip ties. That helped actually, dropped the temps to about 70 under load. But it looked ugly and wasnt efficient enough, so i decided to go the right way and swapped the case. Got a Corsair 4000d Airflow, mounted the AIO on the top, put the Noctua on the exhaust and the case came in with two fans whic were installed on the front but already bought 3 more fans from Noctua. And this thing rocks! So all combined with tax: - PC 1716$ - AIO + Noctura 120mm NF-P12 72$ - Corsair 4000d Airflow case 121$ - GPU Brace Support 11$ - 3 more Noctua 120mm NF-P12 with 2 more 4pin pwm splitted 56$ Total 1976$ with tax, which is still lower then 2099$ price that is currently on the website (without tax). Im more than happy and thrilled with the result and the only thing that I'm thinking to add is 4x8gb Corsair Vengeance ram sticks which will run for additional ~130$ -

Solid gaming PC!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Can’t beat the price on sale during a time when GPU’s are impossible to get ahold of. I paired this PC up with an ASUS XG27AQ monitor to play Call of Duty Warzone and I’m getting 170fps consistently on high settings. As other reviewers mentioned, the stock fan is quite loud while gaming, BUT my temps were great. My gpu never rose above 64*C after gaming for hours and with a headset on, you can’t even hear it. I upgraded my case to a Phanteks p500a and added an exhaust fan so now it’s super quiet and temps hover around 59* while gaming. This motherboard does come with the locked version of the BIOS, but I was able to flash it over to the normal B560-G bios and posted a how-to on Reddit under my username punk3rz for those interested. I highly recommend this PC to anyone looking for a solid gaming rig. If you simply upgraded the stock fan that came with this computer and added an intake fan, I think you’d have a great, quiet gaming PC that can be taken anywhere.

Great parts. Horrible cooling system.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first gaming PC. After reading the reviews about this computer, I still end up purchasing the unit. It's a good price for a pre-built computer with a 3080 GPU. Even before starting up the unit, I knew I had to do something about the cooling system. I Immediately moved all the internals to another case, add more fans, a AIO system, and replace the RAM with 32GB of memory. I'm very pleased with this computer and I ended up making it my own.

Amazing value for the money!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing value for the money! Cooling isn't as terrible as a lot of people say and most issues can be fixed by taking off the side panel. You will probably want to upgrade the case someday just for more space. Came with an Asus TUF rtx 3080.

Runs good. Loud. Sticker half peeled off.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like it. I thought people were exaggerating when they said it was really loud, but no they were not. I guess that's the trade off when you get something at a lower price. Everything else works fine. For some reason the GPU has a sticker halfway peeled off. Maybe a serial number? Idk why Asus would pull it off. Anyway as long as it runs good I don't mind.

Happy camper / would buy again!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did a case swap and put the components of this prebuilt into a Corsair 4000D Airflow case. Also added some RGB corsair components like 32gb of Vengeance RGB ram, H100 iCue RGB cpu AIO liquid cooling and added 4 LL100 120mm RBB fans. Oh, I also added a 6tb WD Blue mechanical hdd to store all the games. So I spent an additional $500+ Now I am able to play any game with Ultra settings across the board and my gpu temps never get above 60c. So far I am a very happy camper. For some reason (no logical reason) I now want to put all of these components into an iBuyPower Snowblind S case and rig an opague/transparent film membrane behind the side panel window so I can use the lcd side panel as an extra monitor. I think it would be cool looking and I know its a wild idea but I may go for it...wish me luck!

Worth the price for a build around the PC
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First day with the PC and for regular use its great! When i started playing games on low settings the PC would shut off which was discouraging. Idling temps were high 60s removing the glass and panel on both sides helped a lot. But i bought the PC intentionally to build around the 3080 rtx. Great bang for your buck. Now the PC runs low temps on high graphics on any game.

Well worth the money for the nonLHR 3089
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The key is a non-LHR 3080 graphic card. The minor tweaks (CPU fan + 2 extra side fans) can be done within 100 budget. Other than that after 4 months, there is a 150 price drop, no complaint.
