ITS LOUD BUT CAN IT BE FIXED?
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great buy at $1299.99 + tax. System is a little loud. Thinking of adding fans or case swap. Will update when I figure out how to keep this boy from sounding like a day 1 ps4 playing god of war.

Almost nice
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good mod, with high configuration and colorful lighting effects, but the disadvantage is that it uses a fan to dissipate heat. The fan sound is a bit loud when the power is high, but the overall effect is good.

No recommendation, but good PC
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall it is an okay desktop. It does make a bit of noise and produces some heat when playing high resolution video games or any activity that uses the gpu little more intensely.

performance needing work
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this system is actually amazing for the price i paid for it, it was on sale for less than posted and id still imagine its worth its posted price it does however have a huge drawback in the terms of the case being ridiculously small and not having any adequate cooling fans anywhere to be found. if you buy this theres a few options, you can buy a cheaper better flowing case or modify a liquid cooling system to fit inside of it. i modified an msi Mag liquid cooler in because the intel cpus are notoriously hot and you seriously cant do any cooling with the dingy cooler with 1 82mm fan on it.

ASUS Rog
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.GPU is a beast, everything else is mediocre. The fans are loud, cooling is poor - I would recommend adding / upgrading fans and CPU cooler at a minimum and this would be a good gaming pc.

Great setup, but loud and hot under load.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, the computer is very capable of running games. It runs very hot, though. With hot comes LOUD. The fans on this computer spin up to the noise level of a kitchen exhaust fan. Capable, yes. Loud, definitely yes. One side note is that the motherboard is a mainstream Asus B-560, not a Z-xxx chipset like you might expect with a K-spec chip. Certainly at the price I paid (Deal of the Day and Open Box discounts) I can't complain too much about these things. I wouldn't have paid full retail price for it, though, even with the killer hardware.

Runs Hot 90c
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Rtx 3080 Non LHR. 90c while gaming 38c at idle. CPU fan and case fan seems to be smaller one generic high RPM. Top vent got no fan seems useless. Case looks smaller. Dont know what kinda gaming machine is this one but everything is bareminimal except CPU and GPU.

the 3080 is what you need
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My first purchase of this computer was dead on arrival. Second one is a power horse. I really wanted it for the 3080 because my laptop (ASUS g14 2060) couldn't handle the footage I was editing. This ASUS got hot as well in the temps but after some power plan tweaking, it runs basic apps and browsing while playing music software i the background at around 40-45C (before power plan edit it was at 60s+). I am planning on getting and AIO to put in the case to regulate temps because i personally want to see greens at 30C+ with just simple work and no editing software open (also just want to cut down on noise). Asus Rog Desktop
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Asus Rog Desktop It's good and given the current GPU market what can you say . Most people have covered this already , but I did not have Issues Gaming other than fan noise , never booted me. but CPU bound stuff where you would think it would not be an issue it would shut off without warning . CPU would get too hot. I Added a Noctua nh-u9s with dual fan setup and 2 120 mm fans upfront . and changed fan profile setting . I'm happy with it. Also I would try fan profile change first that may be enough. I would recommend it if you know you may have to do a little work to it and spend more money on it

Good CPU & GPU, Everything else very bad
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the only ways you can get your hands on a decent 3080. I7 11700kf is nice too, but that’s about it. The case is terrible, memory is some no name brand, 512g ssd is way too small, and who uses a hard drive anymore? The cpu cooler is inadequate, together with a lousy power supply causes shutdowns during game play. I was a ROG fan, but this really makes me doubt their quality control. This is not up to standard

Posted .Dear Valued Customer,
It's unfortunate to hear that the power supply causes shutdown via gameplay. This is absolutely not the kind of experience we want any of our customers to have. Have you tried to use a different power outlet? If possible, feel free to reach out to me at customerloyalty@asus.com and provide this link for reference. I'll do my best to provide a quick resolution to your case. Your feedback is important as it helps with improvements to ASUS Support channels.

5 stars ONLY for the internals!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.5 stars ONLY for the internals. If you're not prepared to move this into another case, DO NOT buy it, because the heat this produces out of box, is just ridiculous. I ended up going with a Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-OMEGA case, H150i ELITE CAPELLIX CPU Cooler, and 64GB of VENGEANCE RGB PRO DDR4 3600. Now, while the ram you'll only ever be able to squeeze 3200, the stock ram included is a joke. So, if you plan on doing much, upgrading the ram should be on your to do list. The GPU is indeed a TUF series, that means no LHR(low hash rate), so it has the ability to mine, even though that's not why I purchased this. I can pull a constant 150-175FPS on Halo Infinite with Ultra settings at 1920x1080. With the CPU cooler from Corsair, my CPU temp never goes above 50C, even after several hours of gaming. I'll add that, setting this up out of box to make sure it was safe to pull internals, I reached 70C just doing windows updates. I'm not sure how or why Asus let this go out of the door with such a terrible cooler, but whatever. Overall I'm very pleased with the purchase, this is my first desktop in probably a decade. I previously gamed from a laptop due to working out of town a lot. Considering the effort it takes to purchase peripherals in todays world, a prebuild makes sense. This is a very nice setup as it is, but if you're willing to spend some extra money, it becomes absolutely perfect.

Great internals, horrible case
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The internals in this PC are decent, but the case is unusable. I moved everything into a new case and used an AIO liquid cooler instead of the included air cooler. The included case has no place to mount fans, let alone radiators. It is unusable for a 3080 which generates a lot of heat, along with an 11700k processor. I'd recommend buying it only if you plan to move the guts into another case.

Prepare for some work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this PC knowing it’s going to run HOT. First one was DOA - probably bad cpu cooler. Replacement works great, but hot as expected. Replaced the CPU cooler with the Vetroo V5 as suggested replaced the 90mm exhaust fan and added a couple of 120mm intake fans. I can now game at around 80C peak (75C with the case open). I also removed the armory crate software since this overrides the fan settings in bios

Hot Box
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As all the reviews have stated the temperatures are trash. You'll need to add fans and a better cooler. I found until they showed up I could keep them somewhat manageable by going into power settings and turning maximum processor power state to 99%. There's not a whole lot of spots to add fans. Basically the case is trash and if you can rebuild with almost anything else. But for $1599 I felt it was well worth it in today's market.

A good prebuilt for parts
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this system on sale for $1600. Purchased prior to the crypto crash, the price was fair for a 11700KF and a 3080. The system was purchased with the intention to upgrade the CPU cooler, RAM, SSD, and install in a different case. The system as configured has loud fans and runs hot. The CPU throttles when gaming at 1080p or 1440p, so performance is impacted. After upgrading and transplanting, the CPU does not throttle and the system is barely audible.

Good value but needs improved cooling
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm overall happy w the purchase as it's extremely difficult to grab a 3080. As mentioned by previous reviewers, the cooling isn't enough. I replaced the loud exhaust fan(92mm), added two 120mm fans to the front of the case( it's a tight fit but doable), Please be mindful of the power button wiring when adding the front fan as it was a PITA w my big hands to get it set back into place properly. Much quieter and cooler now though I'm still set on changing the loud CPU fan (92mm) soon as well. It should bring it to nearly silent.

Beast of a PC held back by its case
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this on an insane 1-hour deal on Best Buy and I have to say, initially, impressions weren't great. Temps were awful and it was incredibly (and I mean incredibly) loud. Luckily, I had a spare PC case left over with much more room and I was able to set it up for proper cooling. Once that was done, it runs quiet and performs exactly what you'd hope for in an RTX 3080 i7 desktop! Would recommend if you plan to move the components to another case and address cooling, but I'm hesitant to recommend it at its normal price point.
