Good amount of foam and protection. The system is very nice looking and I like the design. However I was disappointed to see the mouse and keyboard were inadequate and do not match the quality of the system itself. Heck, even a decent keyboard and mouse combo from best buy is $25. These weren't even close to that quality. These are devices that you would fine on a very low end system. I don't want to go out and pay more for a system that I just spent over $1000 for. Which brings me to the CPU fan. Buying a ROG system to me meant that it was ready to go. Unfortunately, it was not. The fan noise increases greatly whenever you try and play a graphically intense video game. For me. I like my systems always quiet or at least within a reasonable noise level. I'm not going to upgrade the CPU fan on a brand new system. I'll be returning my ROG system to Best buy.

I don’t know much about PCs, but I know that when you’re on internet explorer your CPU temp shouldn’t be at 75. I also know that when gaming you should rarely be over 80-85, mine was constantly over 80, peaking at over 90, at very BASIC graphic settings. This pc just isn’t designed well. Sure the components are very very good, but the airflow design is awful. The supply fan is loud & barely gets the job done & the exhaust fan is very small & doesn’t get the job done at all. Sure I could’ve just replaced the fans, but who wants to spend this much money just to have to make modifications? Returned after 2 weeks & will not be buying a PC from Best Buy in the future.

It also is cool looking. I have been a happy ASUS customer for many years. Please note that I am not a heavy gamer so if you are you may need to make some adjustments to this unit. It does come with additional cables to help with that.
