TLDR - This system is just enough for current generation 1080p gaming, but is not even near best choice. Some obvious corners cut, that shouldn’t be, vs the segment this system competes against. This system DOES game well at 1080p High/ultra, the RGB looks great, but there are many better options. Build/case/QA - The case is good, not the greatest airflow, but they needed to include more than a 92mm rear exhaust and top exhaust. There is an open fan mount in the front and on the top that would help. The RGB bar in the front and the case side panel and overall lighting is great, very bright and easy to change/setup the way you want it to look. The cable management is solid, and there is an overkill, but neat, support bracket for the fairly small RTX 3060. Performance - I’m going to bundle all of the performance into one category because it needs to be addressed all at once. First, the bundle of hardware is odd. A 13700f is not a bad choice for a gaming CPU, but adding a small tower cooler with only a 92mm fan on it is not really adequate to cool a 13th gen i7 of this level. (it thermal throttles instantly and then settles at a 65w or 100w level depending on which mode you have it set to in armory crate) Then they went and paired it with only 16GB DDR4 3200 which isn’t great, but its also CL22, which is quite high latency. This CPU really needs a double tower cooler, or a small AIO to really maintain its performance. Even though this CPU has more cores vs a 13600k or kf, you will usually see less gaming performance, so in my opinion that would have been a better choice, and then the dollars saved on the CPU could be put towards better RAM and cooler. (no matter if you’re running a benchmark, or even playing almost any game, the CPU will jump to PL2 which is a wild 219w, this cooler probably can’t handle more than around 135-145w, thermal throttle because it hits 97-99c, and then drop to whichever PL1 is set with armory crate.) You will usually gain over 20% better CPU performance with the Turbo setting, the CPU test in 3Dmark fire strike went from 104.52FPS to 130.49FPS with just that one setting. The RTX3060 is fine, and this particular model is quite small, but still maintains a good level of performance vs other 3060’s. It stays quite cool vs the CPU in this system, only hitting a hotspot temp around 75-76c according to hwinfo after a long gaming session. It got 77fps on the MW2 built in benchmark at 1080p “ultra” with no scaling, and just setting DLSS to “quality” increased the FPS to 105. I’m usually an AMD guy, but DLSS is quite impressive, and at the “quality” level you’re most likely not going to see much of a difference between native and the upscaled settings. The SSD is barely fast enough for them to claim PCIE 4.0, only hit 4GB/s reads, but an abysmal sub 2GB/s writes. All while only being 500gb…not a good showing for Asus, especially under their ROG branding. Overall, this system has a few pitfalls that just tank its standing vs other systems it competes against. I cannot recommend this system to most gamers.

I really enjoy the case that asus designed. The rgb is easy to set up and i love the way it glows on the glass panel. This is my first prebuilt so i did not know what to expect for quality of cable managment. I give it a c- on cable managment quality but i also give it an A for the PC working the moment i plugged it into the wall. I had to do absolutely zero troubleshooting getting into my gaming experience. The SDD space is on the small size but big enough you can get started with one Call of duty size game and a few smaller games like valorant or apex legends. I have a 1080p monitor that i used to test this PC out on and the gaming experience ia incredible. For a more entry level GPU i was able to enjoy all games at 1080p 100+ FPS. Raytracing ia a very nice feature if you play games that include the feature. I would recmend thia pc to a friend but i would also recommend in the near future to add another ssd for storage space and while your in there i would redo the cable managment so i dont cringe everytime i look at the PC. Gaming wise incredible. Processor waa very vast and snappy. No complaints when surfing the web. I did not do any hard cpu workloads.

Great pc have been using it a lot since I bought it after almost 6 months, I’m really happy with my purchase. The only thing is that I had to buy more space and I’m thinking on buy more ram but great pc will run anything.

This is the very first PC I have bought and let me just say is it a monster. I was worried about only having 16GB RAM but for right now it’s running my streams and gaming just great. If it wasn’t for Steve O., I probably wouldn’t have purchased any PC at all.

I was in need for a new computer and this one was right in my budget. This one was a massive upgrade from the one i had. It has the speed and graphics i was looking for in my budget.

This computer was everything I was looking for in a gaming PC. While I did end up upgrading the ram, even with that it was a much better value than going in to purchase one already installed. Would definitely buy again if needed.

so far I love it it is a great pc to just plug and play. no upgrades beside maybe ram and storage required. It plays all my games just fine with no issues. solid pre built pc. 10/10 would recommend

I chose this desktop over an Alienware desktop of comparable specifications and am so far pleased with the value I'm getting for the savings. This PC plays my games easily (Diablo 4, League of Legends, Anthem, Fortnite) and, after an upgrade to the RAM, can handle my programming tasks.

Amazing ease and everyday use for over two years now! Don't need to, but will be upgrading the graphics card soon!
