I've had this laptop for less than a year and it has never worked correctly. Slow boot times, Graphics card issues, Sound issues, two failed adapters. When Bestbuy sold it to me, they promised to stand behind the lap top and they have not! Asus, they only tell you to speak to the place you purchased the laptop. I've had three Asus ROG laptops and this is the only one I've had problems with.

Purchase was pretty bad. I was looking at this laptop for a while and it was $1500 when I initially saw it and then they raised it to $1800 and I bought it anyway because I was In love with it and I think they raised the price when they saw activity on the page and once I bought the laptop the next day the price was lowered to $1300. A little unfair in my opinion. Lol

Armour Crate sync says not all drivers are installed, The Gaming part of the armor crate crashes, This is a brand new computer. I will just return it and get something different. This is very dissapointing. This seems like it was rushed to the market. Bad move on ASUS. Sorry won't be buying anymore products from you. You have a lot to learn.

Returned it, it was over heating and broke within a week

Bought this 5 months ago. Lightly used. Barely did any gaming. And yet, it stopped working. I recommend you buy something else especially for this amount, there are plenty of better options.

Stopped running after two years of minimal use. Looks like the mother board is fried. Great before then but should last longer for the price especially considering the low usage.

Bought this a a used Satisfactory item. It came with windows only leaving much to install in a particular order. Geek squad was NOT helpful. I waited 3 HOURS ON HOLD FOR SUPPORT then they hung up on me. Screw BB

I had been searching for several weeks for a decent gaming-ready laptop that wasn't going to cost me several thousand dollars. I know you can typically get a good desktop for less, but I wanted a laptop for its mobility. When I bought mine, it was on sale for like $1600. with a 9th gen processor, only SSD, and the new RTX line of GPUs, 144hz screen, I figured I couldn't go wrong. The screen has been crystal clear while gaming. I am no expert, but I have not noticed any blurry lines in any game, even if I tone the graphics down to keep the thing running a little cooler. I've only owned it about a month now, but I have not been let down by this laptop yet. The only drawbacks I've had so far: 1) It gets HOT. You need to give this thing a wide berth since it blows air right out the sides and back. I usually have my A/C cranking which helps a lot, otherwise this thing could heat up a small room in the middle of snow country in no time. 2) No thunderbolt port. Not a super huge deal, but would be a nice port to see. Could possibly even replace the bulky brick of a charger they include with this thing. 2) When I disconnect from AC power, the screen will go black as it switches back to 'Balanced' power mode. I usually leave it plugged in while gaming to run the 'Turbo' mode to keep the fans moving. The noise doesn't bother me. Which brings me to my next and final point. 3) Battery life is pretty bad. Like maybe a couple hours of life on battery while gaming with super high quality graphics. as mentioned above, however, I usually leave it plugged in so I can run the 'Turbo' mode. All-in-all, I would recommend this product to a friend. boots fast, loads fast, great graphics, doesn't break the bank. I enjoy owning it, and I hope it lasts for a long time to come.

Weeks to get software and data moved and then 2 tries to move data with partial completion , then hours on phone to get device to work. Still trying to get device to work

Broken keyboard. Fairly slow for a laptop with these specs. Full OS reinstall needed as some factory installed drivers were wrong.

This computer is super fast and I love the colorful keyboard. The graphics card is amazing and can be tuned up for a seamless gaming experience. Quite good sound quality too. For a gaming computer, it's quite light. Should last me at least 5 years.

I purchased this laptop on sale on september 8th of this year, with the intention of using it for something to do while traveling for work. The hardware specs are theoretically more than enough for what i needed it for, and the price was right. That being said, i've had my fair share of issues with this unit. Occasionally one (or multiple) fans sounds like its contacting something inside the case resulting in a super loud buzzing noise even at low fan speeds. The keyboard lighting settings are unreliable at best, and randomly switch from the default rainbow to what i actually have selected with no rhyme or reason. The keyboard will randomly decide to stop working, and the backlighting will freeze in position, occasionally this can be solved by unplugging and plugging back in the power supply, but as of this review it's currently a brick waiting to see if the keyboard feels like working again. The monitor will occasionally run into super bad tearing issues while streaming hulu, again fixable with a power cord unplug/plug in. Sometimes. The laptop has issues playing battlefield v, where i'm lucky to see 20 to 30fps regardless of graphical settings, and using intel monitoring software the cpu is tdp throttling at 90*c nowhere near max boost clock, with the fans maxed out on armory crate. Overall this laptop does what i need it to do, with some exceptions, boot time is phenominal, the keyboard and touchpad feel great, the 144hz screen is smooth as butter, and the build quality feels solid. Would definitely be a 5/5 without the issues i've experienced. Couldn’t handle basic gaming without completely blanking the keyboard and track pad. Asus support was less than useless

Shipping always gets delay! Says will get items in 3 days. 5 day and still delay. Can't make cancels as well. Never pay for shipping!

Really bad product. I had to many issues within one year and after one year it just stopped working.

My optane module completely crashed after one year. The PC required a complete wipe. Potential hardware failure of SSD
