Never buy returned items just cause its cheaper!!!

Bought this item as excelllent condition ,returned item . Dumbest thing ive ever done. Built my whole pc turned it on and what do you know,a black screen . With error codes popping off on the board. I did everything i could to trouble shoot . Came to the conclusion something is faulty on board . Best buy really needs to stop selling returned items ,or start thoroughly checking items out . Its been over 15 days so i cant even return this junk for a refund. It was a gamble i took and i sure did lose...

Repair Queue Transparency Needed – Misleading Stat

The main problem with Best Buy’s repair status system is that it’s misleading and frustrating. I was quoted 2–3 days for my PC repair, yet it’s been over 5 days and the portal has shown “IN REPAIR” the entire time.
When I called, I was told no one has even started working on it. That means my PC has just been sitting there, untouched, while the system falsely claims it’s “IN REPAIR.” This is completely wrong. “IN REPAIR” should only mean a technician is actively working on the device. If it’s simply waiting in line, the status should say “WAITING TO BE REPAIRED.” How can something be “IN REPAIR” for days if no one has looked at it? Best Buy needs to fix this system by adding a status that shows when a device is in the queue and only mark “IN REPAIR” once work has begun.
Customers deserve transparency, not misleading updates that make it look like progress is being made when nothing has happened. Show the actual queue and when service truly starts.

You'd expect a board like this to handle advertised memory speeds easily but nope straight garbage 8000mhz kit unstable as a bag of rocks tuning DRAM VDD/VDDQ @1.45 loosening sub timings and main timings keep in mind I've tried 2 different CPUs 265k's with SP 80 and 85 and 2 ram kits tried bios updates and still getting errors passed 6000mhz now I'm stuck with a below preforming board and asus's horrible RMA service DO NOT BUY this board save you're money

This product was defective. I wasted time troubleshooting all for nothing and geek squad has no idea how to help troubleshoot and kept repeating himself over and over again. I ended up calling the manufacturer for help and they have sent me an RMA. Estimated time is 10 days to be repaired after they receive the motherboard. I have a trip out of the county next week and this will be a setback as i need this computer up and running ASAP. Called bestbuy and they said i'm out of the return window after selling me a piece of garbage. Not a happy customer.
