The machine runs great on any game with the 4080. The two small things that I wish I knew was the battery life isn’t great. Also it can be kind of loud when the fans kick in.

OVER HEATS - LAPTOP AND BATT!!!

I previously purchase an ASUS around 2015 from Antioch CA Best Buy, and it was amazing. I still use it, but it has stopped holding a charge without being plugged it, and lost arrow down key. So I figured I would purchase a new one to play my PC games. This new ASUS - ROG Srix Gaming Laptop is beautiful! However, it over heats and the battery charger over heats terribly as well. And for you south paws like me, the port to plug in the charger is on the left side of the laptop. I purchased a fan for it to sit on, but it still over heats some. Nothing will help the battery from over charging. Once it is charged I unplug it for the battery to cool, then once it needs to charge I plug it in and do this over and over white using it. Personally not worried about the contest. How would I take a pic of it over heating any who!

It does run warm though so maybe get a chill pad to go under but its way more powerful than my pc which i built a few years ago.
