We certainly understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused. ASUS is an ISO certified company, as a result, all products go into a strict manufacturing standard. All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections that ensure each one is trouble-free, and are built to last. The dead pixels on the display is a random problem. Check if the PC meets the system requirements of the monitor. If does meet requirements, check if the video connector is working properly and video driver is up to date on the PC. ASUS provides warranty coverage for the product. If the problem persist after performing these troubleshooting tips, we recommend you send the monitor in for service to resolve the problem immediately. An RMA number is required to send it in for service. For RMA details, please go to: https://www.asus.com/us/support/article/818/.
