genuinely one of the best monitors i’ve used, the blacks are really deep as it is an oled, and image clarity is amazing.

When I first got this monitor on Cyber Monday, it was weird and needed some setup, but after it worked relatively well. However over the past few months, I’ve encountered graphical glitches that can’t be explained by drivers, and a lot of image retention. The pixel cleaning function worked initially, but now the it doesn’t work. I am now concerned that the monitor has encountered burn in, and there is other issues with a ligher line going vertically, one pixel shows white, and the burn in.

I had the worst experience with this monitor from Best Buy. When i came in to Best Buy, Colma to purchase this monitor a store clerk tried to convince me to buy the open box version of this monitor. I told him i just wanted a new monitor. I spent over $700 for this monitor. When i got home and opened the box it turned out to be the open box version. Not only were there several parts missing and cosmetic damages, but it turned out to be the wrong monitor completely! I don't understand how that happens. I tried going to Best Buy San Francisco to return the monitor, but they told me I had to go back to Colma. When i got to Colma they told me they were closing and refused to help me. I had lug this monitor around for two days and drive around in heavy rain and I'm still waiting for an exchange or to get my money back. Best Buy's quality control is poor. I will not be buying from Best Buy again and you shouldn't either. Good luck if you decide to purchase from Best Buy and have to make a return.

I didnt find any serious difference from the one i had asus pg279q same brightness , only change is oled panel

This monitor has quality like you've never seen. I can really see the difference of 240hz comparing to my old 165hz monitor which I use a second monitor now. It has built-in settings for brightness and contrast, as well as built-in crosshairs you can use. One of the crosshairs you can use is called "sniper" which makes the center of your screen zoomed in with a crosshair in the middle. There is a 1.2x, 1.5, and 2.0x zoom on these settings. Perfect for games where visibility is tough at a distance (Squad, DayZ, Arma etc.)

I have been using the ASUS ROG Strix 27 inch 2K OLED gaming monitor for a few weeks and it completely changed my gaming experience. FreeSync Premium works flawlessly and eliminates any screen tearing. I tested it on both DisplayPort and HDMI and it was smooth every time. HDR makes certain games look cinematic and brings out details I never noticed before. The size is perfect for my desk and the design looks clean and gamer focused without being over the top. I especially noticed the difference in competitive games where every millisecond counts. This monitor makes aiming feel more precise and motion much smoother. If you are a serious gamer looking to upgrade your setup this monitor is worth every penny. This monitor looks absolutely stunning. The colors are crazy vibrant, blacks are actually black, and everything feels super smooth at 240Hz. Games and videos just look unreal on it. I switched from an LG setup and the difference is night and day. Pricey, yeah, but totally worth it for how good it looks.

I Love this monitor already perfect accurate colors and big upgrade i had a regular 2k 240hz from acer and decided i wanted to upgrade wnd stick wirh 2k and try out oled on it and im blown away with how amazing it looks and truly enchances the overall gaming experience

Comfort & Eye-Fatigue I’ve noticed I can focus on this display longer without my eyes feeling strained, even during extended work or gaming sessions. OLED’s excellent contrast and reduced glare seem to contribute to that Performance & Responsiveness Gameplay and animations feel buttery smooth thanks to the lightning-fast response time (often 0.03 ms) and high refresh rates—some 27″ OLEDs now even hit 240 Hz or higher. Screen tearing hasn’t been an issue—thanks to VRR support across G-Sync, FreeSync, or both! Overall Impressions Absolutely loving it—no quirks, no distractions, just stellar performance. Colors are vibrant, motion is fluid, and setup was a breeze. If I were to nitpick, there’s not much to complain about given how well it fits your needs!

Incredible picture quality with a refresh rate you can see. The only problem I notice with a glass panel is the glare in my room reflects on the display. My PS5 pro games take full advantage of the refresh rate and resolution.
