Has barely been 3 weeks and the mobo is getting hung up on the DRAM led on cold boots now. I was literally just using it today turned it off and now nothing. All the parts I have in the PC work on my personal rig but when tossed in on this board… Nada. Don’t spend the cash to get a white board with a bit of RGB and a bunch of issues. Just get something reliable. From removing the CMOS battery for 20 minutes to booting with a single stick of ram (in the correct slot mind you) to even reseating the CPU not one thing worked. Horrific amounts of time wasted on this hunk of junk. Get a reliable board! I am personally going to migrate to gigabyte and hope to god their quality control is better. Thanks for reading my angry review at 4 in the morning. That’s how much this bothered me. DO NOT BOTHER BUYING!

For a smooth and trouble-free DDRAM choice that will work flawlessly with your system build experience, we recommend referring to the Qualified Vendor List for compatible RAM at: https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-b850-a-gaming-wifi/helpdesk_qvl_memory/. Supported memory types, data rate, and number of DRAM modules vary depending on the CPU and memory configuration. If it will no longer boot up and all your hardware are compatible with this motherboard, we recommend that you send it in for warranty service to determine if this is a motherboard issue so this may be resolved immediately. Easy to install both it and relevant components. The manual was easy to follow and find the correct pins for cables. The built in heat sink for the m.2 drive was easy to remove and get the storage installed. The design is nice in that it made installing parts and running fan cables easy. I’ve had motherboards before that are jam packed and make it hard to get my hands in there to screw it down, get hardware snapped in place, etc… I had no issues with this one. The software is good enough for me and easy to use and understand. If you’re looking for a new AM5 AMD chipset mobo I would definitely recommend this one.

My PC case and fans are white so it matches perfectly too. Its got extra room for more SSD slots and was very easy to install. Have not had any issues either.

Sometimes it’s better to just go in the store instead of buying online you may find a better deal/option
