    It's perfect value for money product with the best specs and performance. The ram is just 16gb but it's upgradable unlike a lot of other laptops. I got it for 1559 and I think it is a very good deal.

    Looks great, great solid build quality, fast speeds, fairly quiet, RGB looks great, pretty good speakers sound quality. Only thing I’d like is a OLED screen at this price, though that’s unrealistic.

    price/performance product. I have been using it for 1 month and I have not encountered any problems. The only missing thing is that it is sold with 16 GB of RAM. It should be 32 GB minimum.

    I have never regretted a laptop purchase as much as this one, figured I would have it for around 2 years before replacing, but after less than 4 months the fans are busted, and no I was not blocking them and never ran more than 2 applications at once, and when gaming NEVER had other programs running. It literally stopped out of nowhere and honestly seems kind of dangerous, since it would probably melt if I tried playing something now, not even going to risk that. With my luck I got the one defective unit but I can not in good conscious recommend this product. The fans breaking is not even a hard fix but it happening so quickly says a lot about the quality of the product, I have bought ASUS laptops and had very good experiences with them in the past, no idea what went wrong with this one

    good laptop for $1400. runs metaquest 3 , but gets quite hot and need a very good laptop cooler that doesnt block the vents or intakes.

    1st laptop bought was missing the WIFI card and other internal components. Returned & exchanged, new laptop heats up excessively and after less than 2 months of use the fans are making loud cracking and squealing noises. Tech is stating the fans and thermal issues need fixing and it was caused by being dropped so not under warranty. Absolutely ridiculous! Its obvious this laptop has thermal issues based on numerous reviews and was not caused by a drop. Very disappointed! Will never buy another ASUS product ever!!

      We do understand your dissatisfaction with the quality of the product and your recent customer service experience, and the inconvenience this may have caused. ASUS is an ISO certified company, and as a result, all products go into a strict quality manufacturing standard. All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections that ensure each one is trouble-free. Regarding your concern on the thermal issue, it is normal for laptops with the same hardware configuration and regardless of the manufacturer to generate more heat than normal while under heavy load especially during gaming. When system resource utilization is high, this will generate more heat than normal and tends to trigger the fan to spin at full throttle. To regulate heat generation, ensure the air ventilations are free from obstructions to have efficient air flow for better heat dissipation. While gaming ensure no resource-hungry applications, services and processes are running in the background, this will spike the temperature. You can check go to Task Manager to check how high system resource utilization is being used. The heat or temperature does decrease or normalizes once system resource utilization goes down. Additionally, update Windows, drivers, BIOS and the Armoury Crate utility software if outdated. Updates for this laptop are posted at:  https://rog.asus.com/us/laptops/rog-strix/rog-strix-g16-2025-g614/helpdesk_download/. Configure your system, game, video and operating mode settings inside the latest version of the Armoury Crate utility software posted at: https://www.asus.com/supportonly/armoury%20crate/helpdesk_download/ . If these steps were performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application.
