I got this motherboard as an upgrade and what an upgrade it was! This board has mutiple ssd slots which makes adding storage easy and then its capable of high internet speeds as well which my old motherboard lacked. Not to mention the BIOS flashback button makes updating the BIOS even easier. And my top favorite part of the board is the Q-Code that makes troubleshooting a breeze! Would definitely recommend this board for anyone who wants a major upgrade.

The support for DDR5 and the Intel Z790 chipset makes it future-ready, and the Wi-Fi 6E connectivity has been fast and reliable. Performance has been excellent so far with smooth stability under heavy workloads and gaming. Overall, this is a high-quality motherboard that I’d recommend to anyone looking to build a powerful gaming or workstation PC.

Hey, did you just read an amazing review of the 14900k and thought to yourself “man that guy has a point but which mother board did he go with”…well i went with this one and it’s awesome. Do you like fool proof instillations… this one. Do you like cool free stickers and a key chain…this one. Do you like RGB…this one kinda. It has lights that like do things when you take the time to set them, it has a button that i presume resets the bios i dunno I didn’t read the directions, alls i knows iz it plays my video games and it looks cool. AND it has built in WiFi, that will work….after you update the drivers, you can put some m.2 in it but I can’t cause i blew my extra money on the 14900k which i totally would recomend.

Best Motherboard out there! I had to replace my MSI Z790 Pro-A-WIFI after the CPU Socket (Bens pins not even sure how that it possible) and 2 DIMM Slots were destroyed due to poorly made latches. Bye Bye MSI! But anyways this MotherBoard here worked right out of the box (Intel i7 14700KF) no bios update necessary (BIOS updated to April 2024). Performance is incredible and tons of options (BIOS) and Flashback BIOS and Clear CMOS buttons on I/O Panel are handy so you don't need to open your PC and mess with up potentially damaging something. Even the lights on the DIMM slots are more vibrant and gorgeous to look at. Of course it is equipped with a RTX 4090. Very happy and ecstatic with my purchase!

I recently built a new PC and went with the ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-E motherboard — and wow, I’m impressed. Right out of the box, the quality feels premium, and setting it up was super smooth. It has everything I needed: DDR5 support (which makes a big difference in speed), tons of M.2 slots for storage, and built-in Wi-Fi 6E that works perfectly. I’m using it with a 14th Gen Intel i9, and the performance has been flawless — fast boots, no lag, and great temps even under stress. The RGB lighting looks awesome in my case, and the BIOS is very user-friendly. I also love how future-proof it feels, with PCIe 5.0 and all the latest tech built-in. If you’re building a high-performance PC, this board is totally worth it. It’s been super reliable so far, and I’d 100% recommend it to anyone serious about gaming or heavy workloads.

This motherboard has been a game-changer for my gaming rig. The LGA 1700 socket ensures compatibility with the latest Intel processors, and the USB 3.2 support means lightning-fast data transfers. The built-in Wi-Fi is a lifesaver for cable-free connectivity, and the ROG STRIX design adds a sleek aesthetic to my setup. Installation was straightforward, and the BIOS interface is user-friendly for tweaking performance settings. Overall, it's a solid choice for gamers looking to build a high-performance rig with cutting-edge features.

This is a great purchase paired with a 14900k and RTX 5090. Everything works as advertised. It was really nice having the RGB fan ports so you can control RGB fans without ICUE or NZXT hubs required. Having multiple m.2 slots is really nice too. It is a little pricy but if you got the extra $$$ to spend it is worth it.

Overall, the board was a great selection. The startup issue in previous year problems in the bios were resolved. The board fits nicely in the Corsair 7000x ATX case. You have to research the board to make sure you put the M.2 into the correct location, or your video card lanes will be reduced. Also, the 1st slot for the M,2 is for 5.0 M,2. Not Generation 4. One thing I noticed about the Z790-3 Wi-Fi for the 13th Generation CPU's is the board has additional capacitors that are eliminated on the newer 14th generation boards. Was a nice addition for the thermal pads located on the plates for the M.2 drives. And also, the swing bolt brackets for the M.2 drives to hold them in place was a game changer over having to try to get that tiny screw in there. Well presented in the packaging. My son loved the key chain that was in the box. The board Lighting is great, and the board just looks beefy, and quality made. I Have had nothing but positive builds that last many years without problems with ASUS boards. Thats why I keep coming back. They last forever and even hold a re-sale value when it's time to upgrade. I Have tried other brands through the years, but the top-notch ASUS keeps on ticking. Will never buy another brand other than ASUS. There just Quality. Period. You can't go wrong with this purchase. Buy it! All our Houshold computers are ASUS Boards. Their quality and value are well worth the price!

I had a few issues with gpu connectivity in gen 5 slot duE to using 14700K (14th gen) CPU. Uodating the BIOS fixed ANY issues (and is very easy to do). Now running @ 6.2Ghz, and 6000Mhz XMP 2. I have owned many MOBO and absolutely kove this one. Wuality is impeccable. Im even legally blind and had no issues building my pc.

Feels sturdy and looks good light up in my case. This is my first major Asus purchase, the other boards had mixed reviews so I decided to try this one. I just looked up what the most expensive Intel board Best Buy had in stock and this was it. I'm a little annoyed it's 6E and not 7 but I guess that's okay. I popped in a 14 Gen I7. I'm sure you know by now that all 14 gen Intels are having a plethora of problems and Intel want's to blame all the Motherboard manufacturers. Other than the random reboots because of the intel chip this has been a good board thus far. I hope in time it will continue to do so. I have an old ASROCK and GIGABYTE board that are still trucking after many years so hopefully Asus doesn't let me down.
