I wish it was integrated better as far as Bios updates go as I always have to re-enable the Xg-mobile after a Bios update but overall just a minor inconvenience. Gaming wise this handels everything I throw at it such as Robocop in 4k, Gears 4 and 5 and right now playing Like A dragon man who erased his name in full 4k no dlss or anything, getting 60 fps. If you are on Ebt this is not for as as it's expensive but if you can afford it's worth it.

I have read many reviews about the annoying side of connection and stuff, but honestly to me there's some sort of retro appeal to that nice plug in, and on the more modern side of things I actually enjoy that there's a menu that confirms the switch over and does the whole process for you, it leaves no room for wondering whether or not your eGPU is active. I think it works very well, and is very powerful

Play Mortal Kombat 1 at 4K. At 60 frames per second definitely worth it.

It works amazingly, but bottlenecks on games that are more CPU intensive. Unfortunately theres no comprehensive list to distinguish between the two, so YMMV when buying this.

At the end of the day, I returned it for a proper 4090 desktop gpu. I got a 3080 XG Mobile for the ally and it's all I need for portable gaming. Any of the XG models will get you travel portability (think hotel stays for work) for on the go PC gaming.

Took me way to long to figure out why nvidias drivers were failing. Don't waste your money.
