loud and hot, even during startup / cpu only tasks. The silver is very ugly

It's a powerful laptop that does not struggle to play AAA games with decent frames and resolution. It also does well at keeping cool. I primarily used it as a desktop, and I noticed at some point that it developed some pixel issues. I had returned my first device and received a new one because it had come with the same issue. Because of that, I give 3 stars. Without that problem, it would be 4.

Exactly as promised with a great battery life for a gaming laptop. Not 4 stars because my unit came with a small divit in the back of the screen. Some QC issues but overall a great laptop especially if you get it on sale like I did.

It's good for adobe programs and some guys, although it glitches a little from time to time. Sometimes it won't let me click on something. Illustrator has crashed a couple times. Overall it is fast enough though.

It does everything I need it to do; efficiently and in an extremely timely manner. From boot up, to document retrieval and beyond. Plus it is lightweight enough to transport comfortably.

Replaced my old desktop build from several years ago for under $1k. It's now server. My model is a bit older, but it checks out. Running Diablo 4 and Baldur's Gate 3 just fine.

I take this to work and use it to play rainbow six siege, overwatch, and red dead red redemption 2. Butter smooth.

Very good laptop, performs like a 4090 but 1/8th of the price.

I mean really hot. This thing is an animal and is great for what it can handle as long as it can handle. Unfortunately it runs at hovering around 95c which makes it not a laptop but a portable heater

The price was unbeatable for this quality. It runs well and the graphics are beautiful. If I had to have any negatives it'd be that there is kind of a small amount of space being that its a laptop geared towards gaming. This can be melodied by buying external storage.

Bought this while it was on sale, so happy with the purchase. Laptop required some tweaking, but nothing a subreddit couldn't help with. The Best Buy buying experience was great and I got the item so quickly. Would recommend.

Been using this laptop for the last two weeks and it’s been working great for me! Got it for school but can definitely run games if that’s what you want to use it for. Definitely worth the purchase.

You can't go wrong buying this for $799. 100 bucks more than rog ally and not quite as compact but more powerful.

It was on sale and that was what made it great. Also just a really good laptop for average person who doesn’t know much squat about computers for an average person

Easy order and pickup. My son loves it and it has better specs than his PC. Great purchase would absolutely purchase at that price again.

I can't say enough how poor performance this laptop is. I've had it since 2021 and it wasn't cheap. I was excited for a gaming laptop since I wanted it for traveling when away from my gaming desktop, but this performs like an average every day laptop. Now getting the display a random black screen and there is no way to get rid of it now. In addition it causes my mouse to move extremely slowly. Did the recommended updates including the BIOS update and still the same. In addition, the fan is insanely loud when only one game is installed and running on an external SSD. Pretty disappointed that I even invested in this laptop and certainly will not be purchasing another ASUS product again. Not happy this occurred pass the warranty which leaves me SOL. Please do yourself a favor and stay far away from this laptop and do your research.
