Excellent laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using this laptop for a few months now, and it has well delivered on my desire for a laptop quite capable of gaming and workspace use. The graphics and CPU are quite capable of running pretty much any game I throw at them, including new games, at either the highest or close to the highest settings. Pros: -Runs new games quite well (68.5 FPS average in RDR2 with a mix of ultra and high settings, 33 FPS minimum. 7.60 Second turn time in Civ VI AI benchmark) -Screen is fairly good (120hz, 1080p) -Packs a lot of power into a fairly small form factor Downsides include: -Only one M.2 slot -Only one modifiable RAM slot (other piece of RAM is soldered on), meaning any RAM upgrade would make the memory no longer run in dual channel -Slight high pitched whine from fans One additional thing to keep in mind is that in order to get the full power of the graphics chip (i.e., bypass optimus), you will need to plug a video adapter into the USB-C port on the left side of the computer and then plug it into an external monitor. More than a little annoying, but even without doing so the computer performs pretty well in modern games.

Great little powerhouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the slim design but also the power behind it. I mainly use it for school to run virtual machines, but when i do game it runs smooth. The fans aren’t too loud, and it regulates heat pretty nicely. The battery while not gaming gets me through my school day, while gaming and performance mode obviously it burns through the battery faster. All in all 10/10 would recomend to a friend.

Great Computer, Maybe needs more RAM
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this computer to run Autodesk programs and it is doing very well! However, I will probably upgrade the RAM on this computer to that of 32GB because the 16 GB of RAM is pretty much maxed out when I am using Revit. I use this computer for my job at a firm and if one were to use it for smaller project on Revit, AutoCAD, or Enscape I would say it is perfect! I love the keyboard set up and the way the top row keys are set up Battery life is actually VERY good! Even when I am running my heavy programs. This little computer does a great job of holding a charge and it also charges very fast. This computer is also very fast and for any regular gamer who plays lightly would enjoy this computer or even an every-day user. It is great on storage and I have it filled to about 500GB and the computer has not slowed down yet! The non-glare screen is something I was not considering when purchasing the computer but I love it! I can have my computer everywhere and the screen is perfect! The size took a little getting used to but I will say it is the perfect size. I got my computer as an open-box deal and it works wonderful and definitely worth the money.

Great Machine (Be careful of heat)
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the 144hz model, fantastic machine, but I recommended making sure it doesn't heat up too much. It gets really hot to the touch and eventually the Nvidia sticker came off. I noticed around the trackpad it was lifted slightly and I began to pick at it and the paint was coming off.

Wifi & Power issues. Now MB is corroded?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased 5 months ago. Worked good for 2 months. Wifi stopped working (seems to happen a lot. You can Google it) and power failed. Trying to get any support was difficult after being bounced between Best Buy and ASUS. Finally got the item fixed under warranty. Wifi connection remained questionable, and I spent hours troubleshooting. Finally it was stable for a week. Then, it stopped powering on. After sending it back for a repair, I was quoted $1000 to fix as there is a corrosion on the motherboard. HOW??? So we used it for two months (regular, at home use), spent probably good month trying to figure things out, total of 3 weeks in repair/shipping, and they want another $1000 for a repair. Unless you want to spend $$$, time troubeshooting, talking to them (including their office of CEO), and want to spend another grand, I would not recommend this product at all. Now I will be spending $1500-2000 with another company that I possibly can trust better.

2-3 star laptop: Good speed, badwifi, and display!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good things about laptop: Great speed, good ram, good display. Bad things about laptop: Either roblox disconnection issues or bad wifi adapter that will sometimes shut off the internet to a point where i cant access it anymore what so ever, massive amounts of lag when it shouldn't be happening on such a high end laptop. Loading speed is very fast but should be faster with a top ranked CPU and GPU. Lags on minecraft, has issues with minecraft RTX, minecraft will accosoinally exit or crash and so will roblox as well. I do not reccomend this laptop at all depending on how good of a version you get it. Also kind of lying about screen display, originally said on description "QHD" and not "WQHD" that came with the laptop! If you want speed this is your laptop, if you want no lag then this isn't your laptop, if you want good internet adapter don't get this laptop!

Works very well when it works
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had it for about a year now, and have never had to reinstall drivers on a device more than I have this laptop. My network driver breaks every couple months and I have had to reinstall Realtek drivers twice, along with random other drivers that have only broken once each. Also, I should have done my research before getting it, because one of the reasons I got it was for VR. The problem is with how the display out goes into the integrated graphics first then to dedicated, making it so some programs will defualt always to integrated, and Steam VR is one. I have tried many hours to fix the issue, but its a problem with how its made. Other than those issues, it is powerful and can run pretty much anything I throw at it, I just think there are better options.
