Almostt as powerful as my desktop

Eh, look for better.

Has started causing me issues only after a year of having it. * Fan likes to overheat the device * Has started to freeze up out of no where. 2 hour Discord call, no other apps running, it froze completely. * Backlight isn't great unless you have no other light on. * Only less than a year old, bought in February of 2021, and it is giving me issues. * Charger is located right next to the FAN. Hot air BLOWING on the charger. * Sometimes will not want the brightness/sound bar to pop up when you need it to, will have to restart the laptop. (windows 11)

The computer at such a good powerful device has many issues. Lags on games even on low settings, and has disconnection issues when it comes to playing roblox. about 2 months into having this laptop came roblox disconnection issues. And also, this laptop also experienced its first glitch when opening it brand new and starting it up.

Laptop is just fine
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m not sure if I got a faulty version of this laptop but I have not had the same experience as other reviews. Things look good on this laptop, but they play horribly. Though the specs should be good enough to play most games, this laptop can’t handle most games I throw at it. Games constantly lag and stutter no matter how much I put the graphics settings down. This laptop also gets unbearably hot when playing games. I have to put it down and play with an controller because it is really painful to touch and especially to use on your lap. Overall, I don’t think this laptop was at all worth the price and I have a lot of regret getting it. Once I can save up another couple thousand I’m definitely getting a new one.

We're sorry to hear about the unfortunate experience you're having with this model. There's a possibility that there are background apps and Windows updates causing the unit to perform as it does. What we've observed with the Windows 10 operating system is that once the unit is not being used all background and installed apps including Windows updates will fire up. We would recommend that you check for and install updates. This will cause the unit to run a bit hotter than normal and in turn ramp up the fan speed. We would recommend that the user check for and install all updates for all installed applications.

Nothing but problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this laptop last year and have had nothing but problems with it for the last 6 months. My initial issues involved frequent blue screening and eventually not being able to turn it on at all. I called customer support who was unable to help resolve my issues, and recommended I return it to ASUS to have the issues resolved. At my expense I sent the laptop back to ASUS and it was returned 10 days later and but I continue to have ongoing problems including inability to find my wifi, frequent loss of wifi, and rubber banding while online gaming. I've tried different wifi networks at friends' houses and the problem exisits there as well. I again called customer support who recommended a complete a factory reset. Really? I just got it back from the factory. Needless to say I DO NOT recommend buying this laptop as the laptop itself has been nothing but problems and the customer support has been of no help.

15 Day Return????

It looks like it doesn't exist. Seems like its a hardware problem. Just wanted it to be known that a 15 day return policy is the worst I've ever seen from any store. Really insanely bad, Best Buy.

Screen not working -Sealed Box

And when I started it to my surprise the screen didn’t work at all. Connected external Display and set up windows. Tried everything to recover main display, unsuccessfully. Literally not working. So disappointed.

2 years and dead laptop

All Asus laptops, routers and etc. but I purchased the G14 2 years ago and it simply died for no reason. Sent to ASUS for repair and the cost to repair is almost the same cost to purchase new. No clear explanation of what the problem is, just a high quote saying it wont boot. No kidding. The warranty on ASUS laptops are a joke. They dont stand behind the product.

Just my unit, but…
