Great laptop. I recommend this 100%
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s an incredible device but they really need to fix the heating of it. Yeah it’s allot of performance for a small laptop but why not make the cooling better and or make the software adjust for that heat. I think bigger fans would have helped.

Wonderful gaming ultralight
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wonderful ultralight laptop that was worth the purchase because it was on *sale*, runs quiet and is light enough to carry anywhere. Runs AAA games well such as Valorant, Rocket League, and runs computer science GPU tasks well enough for an AMD

Great midrange performance, excellent portability
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Second gaming laptop from ASUS, first thin and light one. I move a lot and sometimes like to take my PC with me to friends' houses too so I wanted something portable. I don't play the latest AAA games so I didn't need something exceptionally powerful. This seemed like a great fit, so I checked it out in store before buying and decided to get it. Display: Color gamut and brightness are excellent. ASUS software has two toggles to further adjust display, one to set it to 3ms response time ("Panel Overdrive".) The other is a power-saving feature, this drops the refresh rate down to 60hz. Trackpad: This is definitely one of the best trackpads I've used on any Windows laptop. It's glass, feels amazing, large size, can't complain at all. Keyboard: Keyboard feels pretty satisfying to type on. Also can't complain here. I don't think it has per-key RBG but I don't care enough to check that. The keys do have a slight greenish tint, doesn't bother me personally. SSD: This is my largest complaint about this machine. I feel like the performance of the SSD is below expectation when a key selling point is that it's PCIe 4.0. That being said, this isn't an issue to me, I don't care if it's blazing fast. It's still an SSD, it's still going to be plenty fast enough for the majority of buyers. Battery life: Haven't bothered trying to game with it on battery. Will say though that if you turn down brightness, turn off bluetooth, turn on panel power saver, use the integrated graphics, you can browse and watch Youtube in bed with it being silent and having no concerns about battery life. Thermals: Can get a little hot, it's a thin and light gaming laptop though. If you push it, you will hear the fans but definitely not the loudest gaming laptop I've heard and I wear a headset anyway. If you just adjust the fans or use one with an aggressive preset in the ASUS software you can keep temps down pretty well. I don't play anything crazy, highest I've pushed GPU is 80, CPU 85-88. I mostly play WoW, FFXIV, Elden Ring/Souls and Overwatch. There are plenty of Youtube videos of this laptop playing games so do your research before buying. Make sure the video you watch is the 6700s version not the 6800s. Also one of the RAM slots isn't soldered so if you want to make this last longer you can add some RAM. Browsers are getting pretty crazy consuming memory anymore. I hope this helps someone.

Perfect for me
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Small and powerful, the white asthetic is very clean looking. Yes it can get hot but also can run very effecient and cool if you turn down the performance, I do have a cooling pad for those circumstances when I wanna crank it up.

||Posted . Works but hot
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s ok. Capable laptop but runs very hot (over 90C). Fan is loud but doesn’t seem to help. Sometimes it actually runs hotter when the fan ramps up compared to when it’s in a mode where the fan isn’t running full speed. Battery doesn’t last as long as advertised. Gives me about 2-3 hours watching movies

A great all around PC
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I debated getting this computer over last years model a few times. Watching a few videos on both models. This year's G14 with all AMD components is incredible. And after purchasing it I can say it really lives up to expectations. The battery life lasts me through my 8 hour work shift doing the normal day to day tasks. Copying files, using remote desktop, sitting through meetings, and some video playback here and there. By the time I head home it still has 15-20% left and sometimes even more. When playing games the mixture of the integrated 680m graphics and 6700s is great. I have had no issues on the 6700 when running a few newer games like Saints row remastered and Monster Hunter Rise at the native resolution with max settings. I even had some luck running them on the integrated graphics at 1080p on medium settings. I have not tried gaming off the power source though since I know that this kind of laptop will not last very long on battery alone. A good investment might be a 100w USB C charger if you want to try gaming without the medium size power brick. There are a few things that I have noticed while using the laptop though. The keyboard is usually cool to the touch and the palm rest stays cool as well, but If you move your hands to the sides of the keyboard when gaming it does get rather hot. The fans do a great bit of cooling, but sometimes they can be a little loud when doing simple web browsing. They do not stay like this for long though, this normally happens when in the performance mode. Another bit of a headache with this computer has been a few crashes here and there. Most of them were when using a few different USB C docking stations. Some stations and accessories worked perfectly, some would work for a bit and then need to be reset, others did not work at all. I think it is mostly because of the current software, not because of the hardware. I would think that this will be fixed with time and get better. If you want a laptop that can game when its plugged in and give you great battery life when on the go this is worth it. I got this to throw in my bag when traveling to edit photos and game when on the go and it goes beyond expectations.

Good Performance, bad Ram and Wifi Card
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid Performance, lightweight device, I would say the Bios update is really important specifically for this device because it does help with performance and battery life. The Radeon software still have lots of bugs so this may be something to consider. Otherwise, it is a great device overall. But I swapped the Mediatek wifi card right away because it has horrible stability issues ( I can't have bluetooth and wifi both on when playing Overwatch), the intel wifi card solves the problem (AX210 I believe)

Good gaming laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A good little gaming laptop. Visually it looks nice, a change from black plastic. Value for the price was good as well. Power management is an issue. You have to use Asus’s overly complex app otherwise it non stop crashes. It can run hot even in sleep mode so recommend using hibernate for kid closure otherwise it cooks in your back pack.

Very Satisfied with excellent condition open box.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this product in thr open box-excellent condition amd it was basically brand knew. Their was no cosmetic damage and it looks pretty much brand new. In terms of battery like i get around 7-10 hours of regular use like watching videos and browsing internet. But make sure you turn on the egpu mode in Armory Crate to attain these results.

Great design, lovely screen
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked this up over the anniversary sale and really like it so far. The design is very nice and the screen is really bright and vibrant. I have never had a sole AMD computer so was excited to try it out. Windows 11 is very clean and comes with little bloatware. I did a lot of research prior to buying and the reviews all mentioned how snappy the AMD chips are and while I haven’t played any hardcore games on it yet to really test it (they took ages just to download), sometimes the system is a little slow to respond when navigating the Xbox app. Not sure if this is a software issue, but would be surprised if the hardware is being taxed by such simple actions. Really hoping I love the laptop so I don’t regret my purchase but so far it is looking good! Great value for money.

Best laptop I’ve ever owned.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop when I started college at Texas Tech back in 2017. And it is still running perfectly. It has lasted a lot longer than any other laptop I’ve ever owned. I will definitely stick to Asus ROG for my future laptops when this one finally dies, hopefully after a few more years.

Sorry but this ain't it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I bought this laptop in an attempt to get out of Apple's walled garden(mistaaaaake!). It is a gorgeous piece of kit for sure and I honestly loved it at first. So fast! So light! RGB! The infatuation didn't last long though. Major problem #1- Wifi started dropping every few hours and since it'sa combined wifi/bluetooth card, bluetooth would go down as well. I had to flea drain it every time to get it back up. Just restarting didn't work, I had to disconnect the charger and hold down power for a full 60 seconds to reset the components. I did some digging and supposedly this is a known issue with the Mediatek wifi cards in the Zephyrus, and the fix is to either hardwire it or replace the Mediatek with an Intel card. Unbelievable. I guess I could open up my brand new $1400 laptop and pay out of pocket to replace a part that the manufacturer decided to cheap out on, but I refuse to do that. I'm not running 50 feet of cable to hardwire the stupid thing either. There is NO excuse for a system this expensive to come with subpar parts. Major problem #2- Half the time it won't wake up from sleep. She's dead, Jim. A flea drain would again have to be performed to get it to boot up. Major problem #3- After about 3 weeks, my second monitor would go black several times a day and I'd again have to flea drain the system to make it work. It was still detecting the monitor, my open windows wouldn't snap over to the built in monitor like they should when a secondary monitor disconnects, it would just randomly decide that my second monitor didn't deserve a signal. I tried different cables, tried connecting both through a hub and directly to the HDMI port, but it made no difference. I did some digging on this issue as well and turns out it's ANOTHER known issue with the Zephyrus. Seriously?! Apparently it's a bug in the AMD software that's been present for years now, and the only option is to wait and pray that AMD eventually releases an update with a fix. I am reeeeally tired of flea draining this thing, I tell you hwat. Slightly lesser problems- It runs really hot no matter what I'm doing, I don't even game but I could heat my whole office with this thing. I was using it on my lap once and it started to burn my legs a little. The battery life is dreadful, I took it on vacation over Christmas and only got 3-4 hours off the charger just with web browsing and youtube. The backlight bleeds and the kb backlight is dim and uneven too. Lots of lockups and I'm always hearing the USB disconnection sound when I'm not even touching anything. Mouse cursor frequently gets stuck for several minutes. I've been in IT for nearly 2 decades now so it's not like I'm just some dumb-dumb in over her head with a high-end machine. I really wanted to love it but with each new problem was a reminder of why I stayed in the walled garden for so long. Never again lol. I like getting *paid* to fix computers, I don't like fixing my OWN all the time. I tried to just live with the issues, I kept every program and driver updated and tried to be patient every time it bugged out on me. I configured everything to Nth degree in Armory Crate and MyAsus, I checked the BIOS settings, I even reset Windows but nothing helped. I was averaging 2-5 flea drains a day just to keep it running and that's simply unacceptable. I could go on, but TL:DR; It's just not very good, for the price I expected way better. My elderly mother's 5 year old budget HP from wally world is more reliable. Thank god for the Totaltech extended return policy. Learned my lesson, it's getting exchanged for a new Mac tomorrow.
