The quality of the laptop itself is great, the screen looks very nice and the typing feel is of high quality. There are huge quality control issues though, at times the laptop doesn't boot, the keyboard lights up but the screen does not turn on. This has happened multiple times and with more research I have found out this is a common issue.

This is a great laptop. The only thing we have found out that needs to be better is that it gets hot quickly. I highly recommend purchasing a laptop cooling fan to help with that problem. Great graphics for gaming. So far, this is an excellent laptop. Wish it was a bigger screen. Battery life could be better too.

Perfect for gaming, perfect for school. I have been using it since I bought it and I’m amazed. Is fast, my games run smoothly and is perfect for any program that needs a good RAM and processor.

This is a fantastic laptop and I would recommend this laptop to anyone who games or wants a perfectly sized lightweight laptop that also has an awesome keyboard for typing.

Not enough ports, heats up fast and you can’t put a lume cube on it because of the design on the top of it. Battery life sucks. Otherwise it’s pretty fast and great for gaming. I play ESO & FFXIV with no issues at all. Fast pickup time at Best Buy

Amazing, portable, powerful laptop that can be used for work, school, or other purposes. Despite being small, it can still get hot depending on how you use it, but overall, I really like it.

I don't know about this laptop. They put a Ryzen 9 in it with an RX 6700S. That graphics card wont come close to hitting the Ryzen 9's full potential which means that you are overpaying for a processor you can't even use if gaming is your thing. The amount of heat this ryzen 9 puts out is troublesome. The case doesn't have much ventilation. Even with a third party cooling pad I couldn't get temperatures below 90 C. To fully use this Ryzen 9 you would need 32gb of ram and an rx 7700S. I don't get the packaging for this laptop or why they are selling a Ryzen 9 with that graphics card and a low amount of Ram. This doesn't make any sense to me and as a consumer it shouldn't make much sense to you.

This is one of the best laptops you can get in this price range for an all purpose machine. My use case is office work and gaming. The build quality feels great, the screen is excellent, the keyboard is a great balance between typing and gaming, the trackpad is large and smooth, awesome battery life, and the speakers are way better than I'm used to on a gaming laptop. I'm seeing a lot of complaints about screen issues. Maybe people are getting laptops with bad backlight bleed, but it might just be ips lcd glow. It's more apparent when you have high brightness in a dark room. This is one of the brightest gaming laptop screens I've ever owned. The halo effect is more noticable in the dark than some dimmer panels. The bezels are thin so it"s easier for light to creep by the edges. None of this has negatively impacted my viewing experience. Is it too hot? I don't think so. After recent bios updates it does great. The performance did not degrade. I'm getting the same FPS in all of the games I'm playing. Ryzen chips get hot. This does not translate into a hot machine. My MSI Delta gets way hotter to the touch, yet the CPU temperatures displayed are lower. Performance? I own the MSI Delta 15 with the 6700M as well. This laptop is about 5%-10% slower in games. I use an external 1080p 24inch monitor to game on, so it's apples to apples. This is great performance for a 14 inch laptop. I bought the 15 inch MSI Delta last November. It let me down. I got one with the bad hinges, (it seems like they fixed the problem because the lid had an updated shape after it was repaired). After the MSI repair, the screen went out a week later. I had to ship it for repair again. I needed a laptop while I was waiting and bought the G14. The G14 is superior in every way but gaming performance. This isn't the fastest gaming machine but it nails it at being a laptop. Note: Playing first person shooters on a 14 inch screen is a bummer. If this is going to be your only display, consider buying a larger device.

Works pretty good for games. Haven't really had any problems with slowdowns after 6 months and it's not a bad deal

This has been a great deal for the price! This has been very competitive to my $3500 desktop rig I have at home! When I play games, I get a very high frame rate. The only downside is the fans are quite noisy. But overall, would highly recommend.

This computer is GREAT!! I use it for editing video and as a reward I play the game. Fair warning it does get hot and if your a college student keep the charger near by

It does well as a portable gaming machine, you must have it plugged in to reap all the performance benefits though.

Solid Laptop. Great performance and high quality streaming which is just goated ngl. If it’s on sale, take a chance and buy it Side note: All is good except for it gets very hot quick. Doesn't make any difference performance wise. The heat is solely exothermic.

The amount of custom profiles for gaming is superb . dont let the 90+ c get you worried when u game in ultimate mode, the laptop was created to withdtand it.

Love this laptop. Runs games super well, just make sure it’s plugged in if you’re playing anything. I’ve been using for around 2 years at this point and haven’t had any issues.

I noticed early on that this laptop gets hot under load. I decided therefore to test if it can hold well for hours of gaming. It crashed on the second hour of fifa 23. Touching the laptop in it shot zones, I ffound that it gets so hot that you can barely keep your hand on it. I did not buy this device to carry a cooling pad with me. And it feels like I cant use it without one. Therefore, I returned it. If you get the model with rx 6700s, I urge you to spend few hours playing demanding games. Or else you might realize it is unesable like I did. Side note: power settings are locked. Dont count on adjusting power on cpu or gpu, you cant. That was my hope actually. I knew this model with amd stuff is very hot. But if you can lower power and lose about 8% speed, that is a good trade off.

Amazing laptop highly recommended, great built and the screen is amazing. There is a little screen wobble but thats because of the way the hing lifts laptop for air flow. The fans hardly ever turn on when doing normal browsing or office task, im assuming when doing hard core gaming they will though. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a windows laptop. The only thing I wish was better is that it turned on right away when opening the screen , this is a hit and miss so hopefully with a update. The battery life is great im getting anywhere from 8 to 10 hours with 75% screen brightness and charges super fast with the charger provided by ASUS.

Solid portable laptop. No sound issues, no mechanical issues. Well built. My only problem is that it just restarts when I shutdown but that is some software issue I have not solved yet. I wish Best Buy would cleanse the bloatware. Would buy again. Solid heat management.
