Replaced my original G14 with the RTX 2060, this runs everything at 1600p perfectly for me. Some users reported issues with Fortnite last year but i havent had any issues. When it is on sale under $1200 it cannot be beat for value.

Somewhat disappointed in battery life and the time it takes to boot up sometimes

I'm gonna start by saying this seems like a great laptop, it's really pretty, sounds really good, and was a delight for the first hour of use. Then I opened up Blender (my main use case and reason for buying this laptop) and there was IMMEDIATE coil whine on the GPU. It was loud enough to be annoying while using it in silence and still very distinguishable when playing audio through the speakers. I took it back and exchanged it for another one thinking it was most likely just a quality control issue, but the new one ALSO has coil whine. It makes it fairly unpleasant to use and those were the only two at my store and right now I'm debating if it's worth driving 40 minutes to the next closest Best Buy to try for a third time or if it's just an issue with every G14. Pretty disappointed because I was really excited about this laptop and it definitely costs a premium just to have a loud whining noise anytime the GPU is under light load. (haven't tested it on heavy load)

bad heating, but overall the laptop is pretty good

I love it! It’s a great looking computer. The only thing is it does get hotter than the sun pretty fast but that’s to be expected from a gaming computer. It’s not the smallest laptop out there but it’s very portable. I love it!

Though it is a powerful computer, I’ve been sorely disappointed by the lifespan. While I was not using it, the computer stopped working on me. Bringing it to best buy, I was told that this computer runs hot and often stops working after ~6 months.

I bought this laptop and 3 weeks later the screen died. The store offered a straight replacement for the same model and I accepted. Five months later the CPU fan died on the new unit. Since in this model the CPU fan is apparently permanently mounted to the CPU and not just screwed on, it would have had to been shipped to the factory for warranty repairs. The store offered ANOTHER replacement as an alternative... this time I accepted, but NOT the same brand/model! It was as all the other reviewers said: Well built, high performance, good features, but from my experience (and the experience of many other reviewers here) it seems that this model is a bit of a lemon.

Got it for about couple of weeks now, excellent portable laptop. It perform well for daily tasks and a little bit of gaming. The fan noise can be noticeable when you put it hard.

Good for what it is. Gaming is pretty good and when set on the silent profile it can handle gaming while only connected to usb c power and dc power is not needed. Brightness could be better in daylight but overall not bad.

Very good laptop but sometimes it crashes and restarts.

Its a ok labtop around good just buy a mouse if your planning to play games

We purchased this as a gift. It has worked out very well. Seems to be fast, and meets their needs. Has been used for a small amount of gaming and has handled that impressively.

Best laptop I ever had, bought it a year ago and is still as good as new. I use it to play games. Only cons is that battery life is 4-5 hour with battery saver mode on.

I am not a gamer , i use it for normal task .i wanted something with a dgpu for heavier work flows . It runs hot expecially while charging, thats the major issue. And the amd gdpu software is buggy.

Nice product with good price also high specifications make it more durable

good bluetooth sometimes doesn’t work but i believe that’s a windows bug

Was a great product until the screen stopped working properly. Seems like a hardware issue where it likes to work sometimes but many times it will just stay black. It works fine as long as I have it connected to an external monitor.

The laptop has been good to me overall and there are not many complains. The heat management could be a lot better but if you get a stand that allows airflow from the bottom it gets a lot better. Battery life is also not an issue but it's not as good as a mac. As a gaming laptop, it does ok. I wish the frames were a little bit better at 1440p but it's not much to complain if you have your game set to medium. The one thing that always bothers me about this laptop is how terrible the Bluetooth is, complete garbage. I install and uninstall the drivers. Configured everything possible and even did a factory reset. I know is not my devices because I use them with a mac, iPad and even another PC and they work just fine. I think the best solution would be to replace the Bluetooth card but that starts to get involved and voids the guarantee. If you are ok we using receivers and connecting your headphones than this would be a perfect laptop, otherwise look somewhere else.

After one week the Wifi card completely stopped working. Did some research, and apparently the Wifi card in these computers is absolutley terrible. Everything else on the computer worked great.

I love the white metal aesthetic. Also the design where when you open the display it makes an air gap for cooling is pretty awesome. Plays all the FPS games I want like Ready Or Not.
