I’ve had a lot of problems with it. Not on Best Buy’s end, but I keep having overheating problems with it. I ended up repasting it and it seems to be doing much better. Just be weary and know that Asus customer support doesn’t respond to you if they don’t like you.

Works really well for games but lacks alot of storage

After one week the Wifi card completely stopped working. Did some research, and apparently the Wifi card in these computers is absolutley terrible. Everything else on the computer worked great.

I am not a gamer , i use it for normal task .i wanted something with a dgpu for heavier work flows . It runs hot expecially while charging, thats the major issue. And the amd gdpu software is buggy.

The laptop has been good to me overall and there are not many complains. The heat management could be a lot better but if you get a stand that allows airflow from the bottom it gets a lot better. Battery life is also not an issue but it's not as good as a mac. As a gaming laptop, it does ok. I wish the frames were a little bit better at 1440p but it's not much to complain if you have your game set to medium. The one thing that always bothers me about this laptop is how terrible the Bluetooth is, complete garbage. I install and uninstall the drivers. Configured everything possible and even did a factory reset. I know is not my devices because I use them with a mac, iPad and even another PC and they work just fine. I think the best solution would be to replace the Bluetooth card but that starts to get involved and voids the guarantee. If you are ok we using receivers and connecting your headphones than this would be a perfect laptop, otherwise look somewhere else.

My son loves it!! He says it’s the best gaming laptop and loves everything about it!!! Recommend for you to get it!! Will not regret it at all!!!

I had this laptop for two years and the main board is just damaged like that. While the performance was great it’s not meant for long term.

You have to undervolt the laptop to keep it from thermal throttling

Laptop runs very well. I am able to run a variety of programs with it as long as it is plugged in. Refresh rate and the hardware allow for a very smooth experience. I would recommend.

It was an amzing computer however the screen itself was too small.

Have been Dell Inspiron guy for several years now and was looking for a drcent laptop as i was fedup with Dell. Found thus one on best buy and immediatley loved the specs. Have been using for more than a month and no complaints so far.

I got the open box version of the laptop. After ordering a gaming laptop for my son on another website that had issues, I ordered this one. The difference was night and day. Excellent sound, very speedy, amd is lightweight.

Great, and loved except the keyboard stopped working completely. I got it in may of 23 and returned and replaced thankfully in early dec of 23. Over all loved and liked but sucks a 1200 computer didn’t even make it a couple of months.

Im used to nvidia graphics cards and was unsure of how this would perform, but it was definitely worth it. Performance weakened when it wasnt plugged in to the charger but overall a 10/10 would recommend.

Had for a little less than a month now. So far I’m loving it. Coming from a 2018 Huawei Matebook X Pro but switched because the trackpad was starting to not work anymore and I wanted a bit more power to run Solidworks for my engineering classes. Screen is great, can’t complain about power, and battery life is also *now* great. I say “now” because the laptop shipped with an older bios version that apparently killed battery life (I think 313) and I was getting maybe 2 hours just using it for web browsing and stuff. Flashed it to the latest bios (317 at this time) and those issues were solved. I limited it to 80% to preserve the battery and still have plenty of battery to get through a long school day away from the plug. I will say, however, that I like to keep it on eco mode when not plugged in. This mode shuts off the 6700s and uses the 6900hs’s integrated gpu. However, when using apps like Matlab or Solidworks, it automatically switches back to standard mode so that the 6700s can be used. While the performance of these apps is probably better using the dgpu over the igpu, it would be nice to have the choice of staying in eco mode to preserve battery. I will also probably upgrade from 16gb to 24gb of ram since Solidworks tends to push the limits of 16. Also might swap the Wi-Fi card for a faster one while I have it open, but can’t complain much about the current card, just not THE fastest. I don’t have a ton of time for gaming, but it’s been plenty fast for what I’ve tried on it. I’ve also found that 1200p looks almost the same to me on this small 14 inch screen as the native 1600p, and all the games I tried run well above 60fps at that 1200p with high settings. Overall, besides the few nitpicks, I really have no other complaints about this laptop. Highly recommend, especially at its current discounted price. I got it for $1099 and I’ve seen others get it even cheaper. I was considering waiting for the 2023 model with a 4000 series gpu, but with this things battery and performance, I don’t really see that waiting would be worth it.

When I purchased this laptop, I was excited about the great specs for a reasonable price compared to similar laptops from other manufacturers. However, after owning the laptop for just over 2 months and one week outside of Best Buy's return window, the screen now has several light cloudy areas. When I contacted ASUS customer service about the defect, they would not do an exchange and told me the only option was to send it in for repair. This is unacceptable especially considering the laptop is still basically new and after only having had it for just over two months. If you are able to spend a little more, it would be worth it to buy a different brand and stay away from ASUS.

product's inner charging port broke immediately repair is 400$. Pc has tons of Problems utilizing the GPU. It does not have a real ROG menu for GPU and CPU, it uses an armory crate which is just bloatware. I have had 900$ gaming laptops that were much better.

It's a goob, but sometimes has problems with yellow spots

I love this laptop. Its compact light and i can carry it anywhere without breaking my back. The best oart is the battery life this is the only gaming laptop i had that can last for days without being charged i love it.
