Riddled with Software Issues

Laptop keep crahed

Runs Hot and dies fast

AMD has a ways to go on their GPUs

Burning Hot…Safety Issue

Took to BB where they diagnosed it as a cooling problem (from report: “almost burning to the touch.”) ASUS wants me to send it in to get repaired under warranty. This shouldn’t happen with a $1600 computer with light use in the first 6 months. It’s become a safety issue.

Best Buy sold this to me… used?

Best buy tried to deliver it to my house, then claimed the address was incorrect, and immediately tried to give me a refund. I had to call corporate and spend an entire day just to get this laptop. The best buy employees at the store refused to even give it and i had to show them my receipt several times and argue with the guy just to get this. I noticed the box the employee gave me that came with the laptop was a little rough around the edges but i didnt think anything of it. I opened the box when i got home and immediately noticed the laptop wasnt even in the right position (so it had been banging around the box unprotected), there was dirt inside the box, and all it contained was the laptop and the charger. The laptop cover was also covered in dust and dirt. When you get this brand new there will be an asus manual. No manual in sight. I did not pay for open box i paid for a BRAND new laptop. I highly doubt asus packages their laptops in poor condition with dirt inside the box, and i have a feeling i bought a refurbished unit or open box for the same price as a brand new one. The laptop itself is great, but some of the keys dont light up as much as others, which again leads me to believe this is a refurb. If i wanted a refurb, i couldve paid less for a refurb. Instead i paid full price for a "new" laptop that wasnt actually "new". Extremely disappointed in best buy and i am very hestitant to buy honestly anything from them ever again.

Too Hot!
