rethink getting this

I purchased this for work i know it is a gaming computer but i was interested in the processing speed as well as the multiple usb ports. Overall do not like it the charger is also ridiculously heavy so if you have to carry it around it is annoying. i will be returning this item Definitely not worth the price

Gaming re-imagined
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Asus ROG Zephyrus 14” 120Hz Gaming laptop has finally allowed me to game beyond my desktop setup at home. The AMD Ryzen 9 processor paired with 16 gb of DDR4 RAM AND the AMD Radeon RX 6700S allow you to run any graphic intense games without any hiccups. I was able to play Doom Eternal and Forza Horizon 5 without any issue and it looked exactly the same as it did on my gaming desktop. I was amazed by the compact size of this laptop as I feel like it should be much bigger and heavier. The 120Hz WQXGA is very responsive and clear. The 1TB SSD a PCI-e 4.0 SSD so it allows for faster transfer speeds and quicker backups. If are not using a gaming headset the speakers sound great with 4 speakers that feature Dolby Atmos. I played for a little while on the native speakers however I prefer my gaming headset. The laptop features a full size HDMI output so that you can connect the laptop to a monitor if you prefer to. The Wi-Fi features the latest WiFi 6E standard so you can take advantage of the latest Wi-Fi tech as long as your router support this. The laptop also features 2 USB A and 2 USB C ports for endless connectivity options. The laptop is thin and light at only 0.73 inches thick and 3.64 lbs so it can be easily carried in a laptop bag. The laptop features a 720p front facing camera that allows you to use Windows hello to log in. The laptop features the latest edition of Windows 11 so you can experience the latest Microsoft has to offer. The best thing about this laptop is that it is more than capable of being your daily driver for work as well as your gaming laptop. Even if you are not into gaming this laptop is a powerhouse that can handle everything thrown at it. ASUS has put together a complete package that should fit the need of anyone looking for a laptop for either gaming or work.

Freezes

Won’t reboot half the time after going into sleep. Extremely annoying. Freezes a lot when running age of empires 2 hd not even that demanding of a game. I don’t know how it can run anything more advanced (I haven’t tried). Battery life is the worst of any laptop I’ve ever run. Less than 2 hours just browsing canvas for class. So forget gsming on battery. Just pass on this one.

We do understand your disappointment and the inconvenience if you are experiencing slow system freeze or performance issue with the laptop.
Keeping Windows and the game updated will maintain optimum system stability and performance. If these steps were already performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application. If this is not pre-installed on the laptop, please download the application at the Microsoft Store. For details on how to use "My ASUS", please go to: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1041686/. Also, while accessing online games or web applications, please ensure the laptop has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since this will definitely affect system speed and performance.
The battery draining faster while gaming is nomal since game does require lots of power to run properly. In order to improve or prolong the battery charged time, please try to do a battery calibration manually. To start with, please drain it completely then charge it fully without using the system. Once fully-charged, please use the system without the AC adapter connected and drain it completely again. Also, please verify if no third-party battery draining applications are not running in the background if not in used.
