So far so good gets a bit hot when gaming. But the overall is fantastic. I would definitely recommend it. It also is going to take some time to play with the settings to get it so as a productivity machine it can last a while on battery.

It is a good laptop. Runs games smooth. Only complaint is it gets a little to hot. Worth the price if its on sale.

Best laptop I’ve ever owned, but it does have a few caveats. There is some required setup to make the laptop work optimally, like disabling boost on the CPU to maintain reasonable temperatures. Other than that, I am incredibly satisfied with this laptop and it has exceeded my expectations.

The computer performs well, however it gets extremely hot to the point where it gets uncomfortable to touch it while gaming even with older titles from GOG. It is a solid computer, but ASUS needs to adjust its settings so it doesnt run so hot. I have read using a cooling pad and or stand is what most people do, however if you travel that means carrying more devices taking up more room. Solid performance, way too hot.

I bought this when there was a big sale for it and laptop reviewers said it’s one of the best and all I could say is that it’s alright. Whenever I browsed around, it was pretty fast and the sound system was good. However, I did end up returning it due to some issues. First off, the heating was very frustrating, I wouldn’t do anything except for maybe watching YouTube and it would just heat up so fast. The battery was another issue I found. Although it would say 6 hours when I hover over the battery sign, I would actually just get 3. Finally, the issue that made me return it, was the boot up time. It was super inconsistent. I would press the power button, it shows the sign, and then nothing for a straight 5 minutes. Then sometimes it would do it right away as it should. This inconsistency made me realize that as a college student, if it took too long to boot up then I would be done for. But yeah overall I didn’t like it but I could see some people finding it fine.

The laptop screen is so crisp and nice. The performance is great at either 1080p or 1440p but 1440p tends to struggle when trying to max out the settings. You may need to turn it down. If you are looking for a better 1440p option you might want to look at its newer brother.

Lightening fast, amazing graphics, lightweight and portable. Love this gaming computer! Not just for gaming…does a great job with photo and video editing, and also day-to-day word processing and internet research. Highly recommend!

When this item is on sale you'll have a hard time finding a better built product that will give you decent gaming performance as well as really good battery life for everyday use.

Amazing laptop starts up quickly, handles all the games I’ve been throwing at it. Battery life goes all over the place if you’re just working on school stuff it ranges from 10 hrs and jumps down and back. Gaming maybe a couple of hours overall nice gaming laptop.

Excellent spec at this price. Great keyboard and trackpad. Great 120 hz display. Decent speakers. Overall this is a fantastic gaming laptop in a small form factor. It's only drawback would be that it can get hot but this is a small gaming laptop after all.

For its size it packs a punch. It’s cpu and gpu I was able to run all games at 1200p ultra setting with fsr on. Laptop also gave me 11 hrs battery life when traveling which is extremely nice I didn’t have to worry about charging. Only issue I had was on certain games my shaders wasn’t acting right not sure if it is limits to the 6700s or just that laptop so I returned it. But if it wasn’t for that 5 stars all day!!!!!

Heats up quick! Good overall battery last well but gets hot running some less demanding games

great gaming laptop. great screen display. fast graphics card and cpu. fast wifi 6e card. great battery life on non-gaming mode. cons: gets too hot on side vents. wifi 6e card is mediatek and bluetooth driver somehow needs to be updated due to windows 11 could not recognize the current driver that came with it. only one nvme ssd drive slot. ssd drive that came with it is not pci-e gen 4. only one stick of ram can be upgraded. other one is soldererd to the motherboard wifi card is underneath the ssd drive so you have to take the drive if you want to replace the wifi card.

This thing has been one of the best purchases I've ever made. Shockingly quick, a wonderful desktop replacement, been using it with a 4k tv to stream with and been having so much fun with it. It gets hot yes but with a laptop pad you won't notice it.

My husband is obsessed with his laptop. The packaging for starters is so cool! When you open the box, it lifts the laptop up, mimicking the way the laptop lifts up when you open the lid. The laptop is super fast, sleek and has a million cool features for gamers. I personally love how the mouse pad feels. It's very smooth and doesn't feel weird on my finger tips. My husband runs heavy games on this laptop and it looks better than on his consoles. We highly recommend this laptop!

Coming from a Razer blade 15, this thing feels amazing. The performance is great and the screen really surprised me. The Razer I had was 240hz, but there’s something about this screen that just looks and feels better while gaming

The laptop is stunning, it’s super fast at handling multiple windows, xcel sheets, word docs, YouTube, and power point all at the same time. Gaming is beautiful it’s fast, snappy, and I can keep the graphics high. Fans even on full blast aren’t that loud. I never hear them with my headset on. The sound coming out of the laptop it’s self is also phenomenal. I host multiple table top RPGs at my house and it’s able to get amazing sound quality to everyone. The microphone sounds good for a laptop. The front facing camera could be better but it comes with Face ID to unlock the laptop which is pretty schnazzy. For 1600$ this was well worth the money. So much power in such a portable machine. 10/10

An amazing value when on sale. Light and portable, yet powerful enough for gaming and productivity workloads. Would definitely recommend updating the BIOS and drivers immediately using the ASUS software. Surprisingly great battery life when using silent/optimized GPU profile. One upgrade to consider is the wifi, the included Mediatek card is slow to wake and sometimes unreliable. An Intel AX210 card upgrade for $20 is well worth it.

Exactly what I was looking for. A laptop I can use for school and work but also do some gaming. The screen and battery life are really good for this price range. And the AMD CPU and GPU are amazing pair also. Absolutely no complaints.
