This laptop has completely changed the way I do my job and definitely for the better. It is fast unlike anything I’ve used before and the graphics are amazing. My only complaint is in the built in speakers as they sound slightly muffled but aside from that the laptop is excellent.

Laptop has been great and hasn’t had any issues plays every game I need would recommend a cooling mat for the AMD heat played a game for a hour on the battery and browses internet for 4-5 without hiccups

I bought this item as a open box item from bestbuy. The description on the website said the item was in excellent condition but when I received it it has lots of scuffs and dirt all over the computer. There are also a few stickers from bestbuy which i assume is for their internal use on machine which I'm afraid to remote since it's cheap paper stickers with though adhesive,i know taking that off will definitely leave that sticky residue on the surface. Functionally the battery like in eco mode is way less than the product description and from information I've read online about what im supposed to be getting. Its definitely a degraded battery which is not "excellent" condition along with all the scuffs it makes the machine look old.... If i had known the condition of the computer i would have never purchased it. Best buy continues to lie to customers, yet another shady business practices by them. They need to start posting pictures of open box items to support their condition claims. Ill probably never shop there again, only reason i did was because i had gift cards to use from my job.

So far I’ve had no problems after a month of use. Would highly recommend.

The specs are really great. Personally, I lost my old computer I went to Best Buy looking for something to replace it for the meantime this is now my full on gaming computer. Only problem is it has a hard time connecting to my Internet, but that might just be because I live in a bomb shelter in Iraq

I honestly love how sleek it is between the lights in the keyboard and the smoothness of playing over bearing games it’s honestly better than having a full PC set up. I will say I wish the screen was bigger but honestly it’s compact and good enough to use anywhere.

Good laptop all around does good for gaming in graphics design. And also does good for office work

I travel for work quite often and this is the best laptop so far. Fans can get a little loud while gaming but nothing too outrageous. I've played Destiny 2, Midnight Suns and Lost Ark at hotels without any issues. Definitely worth it when it goes on sale for around $1,000.

Overheats like crazy, random shutdowns, returning this bad boy

This laptop runs very hot. After about 3 months of ownership, so well under both mfg and bb warranty, my power adapter broke. I took it into Best Buy, where I had bought it, and they said the power adapter was not covered by the Best Buy warranty, and so I would need to talk to Asus to get it replaced, who assured me that it was covered by Best Buy. After several weeks of back and forth, I was finally able to get Asus to approve an RMA. After I sent it, they've lost the part. I keep getting an email every other day saying that updates usually take 24 hours since they receive the package. I can see via Fedex Tracking they've had the package for two weeks! Now I'm 2 months out from my computer being usable and it feels like I won't be buying another laptop from Best Buy or Asus any time soon.

Very fast and performance is great. Only downside is heating. A cooling pad works great for it though.

This seems to be the best value for its performance and size. The build quality is good, I did have issues with the 1st one I bought with the screen turning off after boot, but my 2nd unit has had no issues.

Had it for a couple weeks now, mostly happy with it Pros - 10 hour battery life - Sleek design - 16:10, super bright screen Cons - Webcam is 720p30fps, pretty bad - Value has gone down, $1650 is a bump up from last year - Had to uninstall a lot of programs.. but make sure to keep MyASUS, ROG Armory

This is high configuration well performing laptops but it makes noise and gets heated reason battery drains fast. There are some ways to control that but in practical I don't think it worked out. It's portable and built is nice. If battery is not your priority then it can be a good one for you. I think it gaming laptop doesn't give much battery life, it was giving 2_3 hrs.

Legit best value laptop by a mile I bought this one and returned it for a 6800s model but the performance difference is only 20 percent for 30 percent more money for the 6800s if you need a good all rounder and are on a budget of 1g this is it this checks all the boxes.

Okay, this machine has all of the specs on paper to make it a great Machine right ? Wrong. If you watch any YouTube review remember this : they only test the machine with the stock drivers. And that’s fine if you never want to play a game that require the latest drivers. AMD cannot seem to get their drivers together to save their own company. Every driver release for this particular chipset has been TERRIBLE ! Frame drops, screen tearing, GPU not found errors, MUX switch can’t figure out with gpu to use ( on board or dedicated GPU). Also, another annoying quirk. The MB supports gen 4 ram…. But they stuck a stick of gen 3 in there..truly lazy as a company. I won’t be purchasing another Asus product as a result, and will definitely stay with Lenovo legion.

Not as fast as I'd hoped (thought I might get more frame rate out of a higher screen resolution), but the price was right after being reduced. Runs pretty cool. Screen, keyboard, and trackpad are sweet. CTRL and FN are in the right place, unlike my Lenovo. Looks clean, not trashy. It's been quiet by my standards, and the ASUS software is solid. Webcam is surprisingly decent. Would love a more durable battery, but I always plug in. I like having a number pad, but it's not feasible at this size. BTW no misgivings here on screen size. Can be challenging to read the key characters in the dark because of uneven lighting. I use a hub to get a couple more ports.
