Decent laptop. The screen turned off on me 7 times in a week so I returned it. Besides that it was a great laptop. It ran csgo very smooth

Overall I'm rating this 5 stars as it's slight shortcomings aren't worth taking a star. Plus there are some suspicious looking 1 star ratings on here. Coming from the 2021 G14, this is improved in basically every way. The major improvement being the screen, it's not even close compared to the older G14. This new screen goes close to 500 nits, and reminds me of my MacBook Pro / iPad Pro. The high resolution also makes it look almost "retina" like. For the other stuff: -Trackpad is bigger and feels like glass. -Color scheme is great, no more silver, now it's all white. -Windows Hello (Face ID) works great, like an iPad basically. -Feels solid and no creaking/weird noises. Some Cons: -Touchpad feels slightly loose (just like the old G14). -Slight light bleed on bottom and a small area on top (I don't see it for normal tasks, but if you have the brightness up with a dark background/movie you can see it. -Heat, this gets hotter than the older model, but the vapor chamber seems to disperse the heat better. I noticed the keyboard stays cooler than on the other G14. Overall it's a solid machine. I was looking at the X-1 Carbon and other alternatives and to get something with DCI-P3 screen with 500 nits by itself starts running you $1,500+. With this, you're also getting solid gaming performance and crazy power. So there isn't anything else I can think of to compare it to at this price point. I also had a Surface Pro 8, and unless you need touchscreen, this computer completely destroys that one in every single way (Keyboard, Screen, Touchpad, Battery, Speakers, Etc).

Pretty good laptop, although it gets really hot at times. Aside from that everything else is great! Definitely recommend a fan for it!

Just as a benchmark for the curious, this returned a PCMark score of 6,934 out of the box with no other software or hardware added.

This is an great laptop for gaming.(Ryzen 9 with 6700S is the one i got). it works well with graphic intense games and looks great.

Good computer but wifi card is garbage, Every time I try connecting to a wifi it wouldn’t work even if it work it would still disconnect frequently only thing you can do is reset

It is a birthday gift for my grandson and he enjoyed using it.

Everything is nice about this gaming laptop. Quiet performance, excellent speed. Games look great and perform great.

This is a good laptop overall, but it has one massive issue. Heat. Even when just using the laptop regularly and not doing anything strenuous like playing games, the top of the keyboard is extremely hot. Going to have to return it unfortunately. Just don't trust that it will last. The other issue is the horrible speakers. Just do not sound very good at higher volumes. Otherwise the laptop is really good, but these issues are too much for me to be able to keep it.
