Affordable upgrade. Hard choice
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. That's a pretty nice laptop with a decent display. It has a lot of gathered power. I'm just actually talking about the graphics card. It's actually three gpu's in one that makes up the 3070. Which is not a problem unless you mine cryptocurrency on the side. It's unable to run ETHash, but 48-58Mh ETCash is decent running at 40-50%. Idles 94watts under heavy loads on turbo while mining. It also handles any game I throw at it with ease. 150fps on ultra play war of tanks. That Ryzen 9 5950hs powerful and conservative and energy. But with the specs you're looking at two to three hours max playing games. Since the Ryzen or technically apu's. It's actually faster than the RTX 3070 for lighter loads. Which will use your actual ram. Unfortunately, one of the ram is only replaceable. 3400 MHz is hard to come by at a 24gb which I don't even think they make. I'm usually at 50% ram consumption so buying it and upgraded ram is essential.

Mine had stuck pixels, but otherwise great laptop
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this laptop. It's currently the most powerful machine in my house right now (at least until I upgrade my aging desktop PC.) I was initially searching for a good all-around laptop to use primarily for photo editing, so I wanted something high-powered with a color-accurate screen, a decent amount of RAM, and at least two M.2 slots for storage. When I came across this one, it checked all of the boxes, PLUS had a 3070 in it. As a photographer who is also a gamer, I couldn't resist. The idea of having a good laptop for photography that I could also use for gaming sounded perfect. I also like that it looks really cool and stylish, without screaming "gaming laptop". I haven't suffered from many of the issues described in other reviews. My speakers sound fantastic, light bleed is minimal, and the performance is amazing. It has handled every game I've thrown at it impressively well, with the graphics settings maxed out. It hardly breaks a sweat when processing photos through Lightroom. Visual Studio runs buttery-smooth, and builds quickly. However, there are some issues: 1: The fingerprint reader isn't great. It recognizes my finger maybe ~60% of the time. I've tried reprogramming my finger a couple of times, but that hasn't helped. 2: My display, unfortunately, came with several stuck pixels out of the box. They were in the corner, so I tried to ignore them, but then a new one popped up in the middle of the screen. Since I use this for photography, I couldn't just let that one slide, so I sent it in for repairs. Luckily, this is covered under Asus' warranty. I'm still waiting for the repair to finish, but hopefully the new display comes back without issues. Display issues aside, this is a fantastic machine. Sure, it would be nice if I could upgrade both RAM modules, but 16GB is sufficient for my needs, so this was never a deal-breaker. I've also never cared for integrated webcams, so I actually kind of like that this doesn't have one. I just hope that the stuck pixels are a rare case, and that my warranty repair comes back as good as new.

Best gaming performance for under 2k.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've got a good screen with no dead pixels, minimal backlight bleed, no blown speakers and what feels like a pretty solid body. I really couldn't be happier with my purchase as it is an absolute performance machine with almost everything I could ask for at a reasonable (for gaming laptop) price. I worry about the soldered 8 GBs of RAM long term just like I worry about the heat being exhausted onto the center of the screen but these are concerns I knew about going in and were worth accepting for the performance.

Great laptop with minor setbacks
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall a good laptop. So far, it is very fast. There is a small lag spike somtimes on Google Chrome when having waaayy too many tabs open, but this is most common with AMD processors for some reason. Expect to run recent games at 60-70+ Ultra settings. Use type C to HDMI adapter to boost FPS on a monitor setup. It takes a little getting use to with all ports near the front of the laptop. Most laptops have ports in the middle or back. It has one color RGB, but you can not customize each key or sections of the keyboard like other laptops. Not sure if they could add a patch to unlock this feature, but they should if they could. RAM is also soldered in, if you add an extra stick of RAM expect not to be used to its full potential. Overall still a 4 out of 5 star laptop. You have a great screen (QHD), great processor, great graphics card. Just not sure if this laptop is future proof (More than 3 years).

A Review for People who like to Research
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're like me, you want to get the best laptop for the best price, and a lot of review websites recommend this and may have led you here. I did a lot of research and this laptop seemed great, it seemed like a perfect balance for content creation, gaming, and school. Having a good amount of RAM, a large SSD, a Ryzen 9, RTX 3070, and a decent-looking chassis, I thought it was perfect. I was able to get a good deal on Black Friday and I ordered it. I got it, set it up, and it ran very well. It handled games like Forza Horizon 5 and Destiny 2 on max settings without a problem. The thing that really ruined this laptop for me was the backlight bleeding. It was very disappointing; the screen bleed was distracting, and it was very visible during dark areas in-game. After looking at some other reviews and posted my problem to a forum, I decided to exchange it and try to get a better one. So, I got the second one and tested it again, and though it was better, I could still see the bleed in-game. I did not want to pay that much for a laptop with so much backlight bleed, so I decided to return it. It is very unfortunate that Asus would make such a great laptop, but not make sure their laptops don't have bad backlight bleed. Other than the screen, the laptop was pretty good. As a said earlier, it handled games very well, stayed fairly cool, and had good battery life. I wasn't crazy about the ergonomic lifting keyboard, just because I don't like the idea of the laptop being supported by the screen. Also, I noticed that the screen would flex if I would move the screen by pushing/pulling on a corner instead of directly in the middle. The prismatic dots on the back are a nice touch, but they really don't reflect unless the light is at just the right angle, which doesn't happen naturally when the laptop is open. Also, I noticed that small particles collect in the holes, although I'm sure it's nothing that some compressed air won't fix. The material was nice and didn't collect fingerprints too bad, but it was mostly plastic, and it flexed a little. I read in numerous places (but didn't check for myself) that you can only change one RAM module, but the other is soldered in. That's unfortunate because you normally want to have matching modules to avoid any possible incompatibility issues. The keyboard has a nice, clicky feel, with okay light. I could see the lights under the key looking at the side of the from the angle you would normally use it, which I didn't appreciate. If you are willing to play the lottery or are okay with the backlight bleed, this laptop really seems like a good choice. If not, I ended up buying a Razer Blade 15 Advanced Edition (early 2020 model). It has an Intel i5 (similar specs with the Ryzen 9 in this Asus), an RTX 2080 Super with Max Q (a little slower than this 3070), a 4k screen, and the rest of the specs are similar. I really love this Razer, the all-aluminum chassis is a little heavier and collects more fingerprints, but it is rock solid and feels high-end. The keyboard is better; the screen is better with the higher resolution, stunning colors, and zero backlight bleed; and I like the overall look better. I was able to get the Razer for a good price, though it still cost more than the Asus, it was totally worth it. If you can afford a Razer Blade, I highly recommend it. I hope this review was helpful, thank you.

Good laptop, until it wasn't
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really liked this laptop. Bought mine in 2022. I didn't much care for the size of the keyboard, I've used a full size keyboard with number pad for decades. I do like the keys, their pressure, and travel. I know the kids these days have something against the numpad, maybe they don't understand what its used for. This one lasted until just a couple days ago, I turned it on to update my Garmin watch before a race, wasn't doing anything except using the Garmin app, suddenly everything was lights out. Seems the motherboard is completely dead, I think the battery might be dead too. The power pack is perfectly fine. All my desk things are protected by a good UPS, so it wasn't fried from the power lines. This laptop mostly sits on my desk, never been wet, and I've had the battery care thing enabled since I got it 2 years ago. No dust accumulation inside, nothing spilled in it, nothing hit, never dropped. It didn't even have a lot of hours on it. Just gave up the ghost. Now I'm stuck, either buy a whole new one, or take a chance on a used board from China that cost about $600-700. I do really like this model range, despite the awkward hipster keyboard layout. I've been doing IT work since the Commadore64, I've never had a laptop just up and poop its pants like this. I'm a little hesitant to buy another Asus product, especially with all their questionable business practices lately, and now this.

Excellent Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed to replace a 4 year old HP Spectre that was starting to have issues. Also needed something with more processing power for video editing and streaming. I have another laptop dedicated to live streaming church services. This laptop performs other function during service and is my everyday use computer. I also wanted it to serve as a backup for live streaming when needed, so having a decent CPU and graphics was important. I was shopping around checking out specs and prices when this ASUS ROG Zephyrus popped up at Best Buy. The specs of an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS, a NVIDIA RTX 3070, and 16GB of memory, at the given price was too good to pass up. This laptop configuration from ASUS seems to be exclusive to Best Buy. So far it has been performing flawlessly. Video editing and converting is a breeze and runs very fast. Live streaming using OBS and several NDI sources work smoothly and without issue. The laptop runs just a little warm to the touch most of the time. When editing videos it gets warmer and the fans speed up, but they are still not very loud. I am very happy with the cooling system performance. Audio is decent and the screen is great. It runs at QHD which is more that adequate for what I'm doing. 4K would have been nice but I'm very happy with this 2K display. The only thing I miss is having a dedicated function button for Play/Pause function. But this is a small thing.

Highly recommended
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Im new to the whole PC / PC gaming world but I did my research before purchasing this laptop. As of right now, it is running extremely smooth for everything I have done so far. It’s extremely easy to set up and I love how you can monitor your performance through Asus application. I have no suffered any of the issues that I’ve seen posted (major back light, light flickering, and blown speakers). Over all I give this laptop a 5 stars and would recommend purchasing it. Note: The last photo is my current gaming set up and how I actually have the laptop set up for streaming.

Great Gaming Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is awesome! I play Forza Horizon 4 on it all the time, and it can run it on ultra at almost 100 FPS. The battery life is great, too. I can get almost an entire day of non-gaming use out of it, and I also feel totally comfortable carrying it around my house because of its very sturdy build quality and its 4ish pound weight. Honestly, I did a ton of research on the new 30 series laptops, and this one is just about the best price to performance on the market right now.

Best 2021 Gaming Laptop for Price
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a a few weeks of owning this laptop I love it. Amazing screen, super fast CPU, Strong GPU for its low TDP compared to other 3070 laptops, Keyboard is very nice for a chiclet, super light, and me personally I like the way the outside looks. On timespy I pulled a 9930 overall on this laptop which is very well, can easily hit the 10k mark. Cooling is surprising for how thin it is. GPU stays under or just barley peaks into the 80c gaming on this. I tested DOOM Eternal everything maxed out and pulled an average of 125-135 FPS on the 1440p built in display, with an external monitor you can get higher fps. CPU does get a little hot straight out the box but that is due to the CPU always being boosted even on simple tasks and on all power modes but that is an easy fix with a few minor tweaks to some settings. after that never saw my CPU go above 85c unless I'm benchmarking then the highest its got was 95c with boost and all. Still very good in my opinion. Zero audio issues, Zero trackpad issues, also trackpad feels very nice and smooth 10/10 there for Asus. My only complaint I can really say that bugs me about this laptop is the RAM customization, I wish both RAM stick were SODIMM and not one being soldered on. Far as i know only the 3080 model has 32gb of ram that run Dual Channel so no performance loss there compared to the 16gb on the 3070 model. Overall still not a bad laptop by any means. 16GB will stull suffice in most situations for me at least, I only game and normal use with some mild editing so doesn't bother me to much but 32GB would have been preferred. But I don't regret getting this laptop. Everything else is fantastic so far. Can definitely be a last gen desktop replacer for sure.

Great alrounder portability, power, potential
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great laptop that offers the highest level of portability to power ratio. As far as march 2021. I even left my charger at home and went on a 3 day work trip...and the best buy insignia 180w universal charger runs this baby like a champ no issues. with the #42 asus tip. I have it on type-c to DP out on my 1440P Mi curved ultrawide. Amazing potential IMO an ideal gaming laptop bc i can get ideal batterylife for work/school. Down tune the cpu to 20-25w on the manual OC section to keep temps ideal at a 70-80c while gaming insuring this laptops lifetime use. As well as how quiet it generally is vs older gaming laptops ive owned. Ive played a couple nicer games like cod cold war and warzone even gta V. But i mostly got this to play my basic esports games when away from home or arpgs like diablo 3 poe etc on the ultrawide...while streaming media on the included QHD panel....this laptops performance for that use case is quite ideal. Way greater temps at this usecase than my old msi 9750h 1660ti laptop.

Cinbench: 5200 out of the box =)
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cinbench: 5100-5200+ out of the box. Yea... I’m happy. I mainly use this for photo and video editing and I have never felt Lightroom and photoshop so buttery smooth. I miss the 4K, but this is color accurate and that’s all I really need (may pick up a 4K monitor down the road). First thing I did was drop a 2TB Sabrent rocket so now I have 3TB onboard. Gaming is very nice on this machine and the 165hz panel is amazing. Fans can get loud but, if you’re not doing anything to crazy you hardly ever hear the fans. I have nothing really “bad” to say about this laptop. If I am nitpicking, I wish the panel was brighter, still getting used to the keyboard and I hate the holographic effect on the lid but that’s just me. Picked up a skin from m2skins.com and I’m super happy that they already have a skin for this laptop. Overall, perfect. Recommend to everyone.

Perfect balance of gaming and functionality
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a gamer and a use my computer for functional things too like the Microsoft Office Suite and internet surfing. Gaming: This computer crushes most games with the installed 3080. It gets hot on the sides but the keyboard stays relatively cool for such a thin profiled computer. Furthermore, the battery life is appropriate for how much it is working. The brick is not as large as a legion power supply which my friend bought at the same time I bough this. The keyboard lightning functionalities are not per key but it also doesn't have an overwhelming RGB vomit feel. The computer could be disguised as a work computer if the RGB was turned off. The speakers are decent. I've had some trouble with standard bluetooth headphones but zero trouble with USB dongle mic/headset combo (i've tried 2 different corsair sets and a samsung buds 2). Form Beautiful computer, the brushed aluminum look is killer and sleek. Finger prints are annoying but a small microfiber cloth satisfies my OCD urge to clean it. The tilt when the screen is open on the keyboard and screen is perfect. The center keyboard is awesome. I do not miss my numberpad at all. It feels right tying centered and having my hands rest on the frame. The large touch pad is the right amount of sensitivity. Finally, the screen is great. Overall I would buy it again. It fits so many boxes and allows me to game while also taking it to Starbucks to do work without screaming RGB gamer.

Decent Performance, QA Issues, Poor Parts Support
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The laptop looks and performs well for the size but has a large number of QA issues and virtually non-existent warranty parts support from ASUS or Best Buy. Commonly reported issues include heavy speaker distortion/case resonance, screen bleed, dead pixels, poorly applied liquid metal on the CPU leading to overheating, and creaking cases due to tolerance issues. Thankfully my unit only had the speaker issue (mine is actually blown, not a driver/software issue). Best Buy would not address the speaker under warranty, simply requesting that I return it for exchange which I declined to do because the risk of getting another defective unit is too high. ASUS also refused to provide parts, even if I paid for them raising concerns about future availability of parts for repair outside of warranty. I am now ordering a replacement speaker through Best Buy's sales partner which will effectively bring the cost of this laptop just short of the $2000 mark. This will likely be the last ASUS laptop I buy as support and QA issues are unacceptable. There is a reason why you can buy this laptop while all other Ryzen/Nvidia combos are sold out. If not for the shortages I would return the laptop and just wait for another OEM's product. I suggest passing on this laptop unless you absolutely need it now and are ok with performing DIY fixes or dealing with lengthy repair times. If not for the QA issues this laptop would be highly recommended because it looks very nice, is light weight, and performs very well in games and video processing applications (if you get one with properly applied liquid metal). I hope ASUS sorts the issues. Right now I can't see this laptop (Ryzen 5900HS/Nvidia 3070 Max-Q version) being worth the MSRP and Best Buy recently increased their price from $1799 to $1849 especially since ASUS limited the laptop's GPU to 100 watts in VBIOS.

The best lightweight/premium design gaming laptop
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally purchased a Zephyrus M16 (i9/3060) before returning it for this model, as it went on sale to become the same price as the M16, and the 3060 was leaving me a little wanting. Let me put it this way: this is the best slim gaming laptop you can buy. It’s not the best gaming laptop you can buy (more on that in a moment), but if portability is a concern without compromising power, the only computer better than this is the 2022 model with a 6000 series chip. Performance wise this thing is a monster. It is only using an 80W 3070, but don’t believe the on paper reviews: it smokes the 80W 3060 in pretty much every game i’ve tested (CP2077, Apex, Valorant, Forza Horizon 5, etc.). It can push most titles on high settings, 1440p, above 120fps. It can push almost everything at max settings, 1080p above 120fps. The absolute MOST DEMANDING games, like Cyberpunk, run at 1080p/60 on max settings, and 60fps (albeit a bit unstable) at 1080p and 1440p with ray tracing and various DLSS tweaks. The CPU is also very power efficient. Despite being a stronger computer than the M16, this one is a lot quieter and has better battery life too, even on performance and turbo modes. Overall, this is the best low watt/Max-Q gaming laptop to buy. I love this thing so much.

I cautiously recommend the M16
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.***** TLDR: Pros: Great screen, sound, ports, keyboard, fingerprint reader, trackpad. Hmm: Chassis Rigidity Cons: Quality control, soldered Ram ***** I work in an IT company and am in charge of most of our laptop purchases. I bought this Asus M16 for myself. I could have gotten a different laptop with a better GPU (3070 RTX) for the same price or cheaper, but since I use the laptop for productivity and movie watching more than for gaming, I chose to rather have awesome screen colors, QHD, great audio, and a compact chassis (I travel with it weekly). If you're a pure gamer, probably one of the G-15 models will give you a better value for money. Quality Control The only sad part about the Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 is the questionable quality control by Asus. For the past 8 years, Asus has been one of three approved laptop brands in our company, based on our years of experience with different laptop brands and their respective issues. However, in light of my recent experiences below, and what I've been reading online, we'll have to keep an eye on this. As you can see from the attached photo, my screen has moderate light bleed and a blue stain in the middle of the screen. The blue stain only shows against a totally black background though, and thus, in daily use I rarely notice it. Furthermore, the top bezel makes clicking sounds when I squeeze it, which indicates that it wasn't perfectly assembled. Not a big deal, but I just hope it doesn't come apart in the future. Asus, if you can't get reasonable assembly quality and display fit&finish with these thin bezels, then just increase the bezel size a bit. Thinking that I just got unlucky, I did order an other M16. That one didn't have any blue stain on the screen but it had insane light bleed in the bottom left corner. It was so strong, that you could even see it in daylight in daily use. Also the mouse pad had a slight rattle, but in all fairness, I probably would have though it normal if I didn't have my other M16 to compare it to. However, in this model the top bezel was fitted better, without any clicking sounds. I did return this model, and kept the model with the blue stain on the screen. Both of these M16's had May 2021 manufacturing dates. After doing some research on reddit, many other people are also complaining about the ill fitted mousepad, bezels, and light bleed. Come on Asus, I know for a fact that you can do better, because you indeed used to do better! Soldered Ram Asus, if you're going to solder half of the RAM on board, then at least make it a 16GB, and not 8GB. This way someone can upgrade by adding an other 16GB and have 32GB dual channel. Then if you're concerned about performance in reviews (since 16GB single channel will run slower than 2 x 8GB chips dual channel), send those reviewers 32GB versions of the machine. 16GB is bare minimum for a system like this, and it sucks that if I change out that 8GB stick that's upgradable, then my ram won't be dual channel. Sure, Intel's "flex mode" helps a bit, is 32GB dual channel really too much to ask? Or better yet, increase the thickness of the laptop marginally, and have both RAM slots user-replaceable. This will also eliminate bricking a $1,850 laptop if the soldered ram goes bad (no practical way to fix that). Chassis I wasn't disappointed by the chassis, but I wasn't impressed either. Asus did a great job in fitting a 16 inch screen on such a small footprint. However, it creaks a bit when you handle it, especially with one hand. I would recommend they strengthen the D-panel and display lid a bit, even though that'll make the machine marginally thicker. However, overall the chassis has a high quality feel to it, and the black slightly rubbery finish looks and feels great! Sound The sound quality was amazing. Best laptop sound this side of macbook pro that I've experienced. I was also blown away by the Dolby Atmos feature. When I listened to a Dolby Atmos sound demo on youtube, at one point it literally feels like the sound is coming from speakers from behind me. I had my daughter experience it as well, and she thought I had literally hid speakers somewhere in the back of the room. Keyboard This is the best laptop keyboard I've ever typed with, period. Ports Nice selection of ports, including two USB type-c Ports, one with thunderbolt and one with display port and power delivery (meaning I can charge my laptop with a USB-type C PD cable, up to 100W. By the way, doing the Cinebench R23 benchmark with the 100W type C charger, compared to the 240Watt out of the box charger, I got identical single core results and about 15% slower multi-core results. Not bad at all. Haven't tried gaming though, an I suppose you'll see bigger performance differences there since only the GPU can take 80Watts+ when things get intense. The only downer with the ports is the HDMI 2.0b instead of HDMI 2.1. But I guess it's because for some reason Asus wants to pipe the HDMI connection though the iGPU and not GPU (maybe due to battery longetivity issues). Fingerprint Button This has been working great for me. Not sure why some people complain about it. You just have to touch it at different angles when setting up. I appreciate how when pressing the power button, it also grabs my fingerprint, and then logs me into windows automatically, saving me about 5 seconds a day, 365 days a year. Trackpad The trackpad feel is superb. The finger glides very nicely in that big glass surface. Heat on Screen Many people seem concerned about the hot air from the vents hitting the screen. I honestly don't see the fuss. I'm sure Asus did their research about this, and measured the heat to be with-in the limits of the screen. Furthermore, by the time the air hits the screen, it's not that hot. So, this isn't worrying me one bit. Summary Good job overall Asus. Get your house in order with regards to quality control and stop using 8GB soldered Ram sticks, and you'll be awesome.

Don't buy the open-box ones
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I give this a 3 star because of the issues i had ordering this. I Initially ordered a open-box excellent and it was alright I guess but the stabilizer on the spacebar was not function well and the fingerprint sensor is absolute trash compared to the ones on the Macbooks or the iPhones. So I went into the Bestbuy store and replaced It. But the replacement unit never arrived, and I had to make calls to get a re-ship. Finally when It arrived the screen had a line of dead pixels so when I went to Bestbuy again to replace It, this time, I luckily got a new one. The new one's spacebar is alot better, but It still wont register if I press It at the bottom right or left corners. The fingerprint sensor is still trash but other than that, the laptop performs really well, the screen is stunning to look at. The speakers are insanely good on a gaming laptop and so is the battery life. I like the fact that there are alot of ports. Overall If there wasn't so much trouble I'd give it a 4.5 or 5 out of 5.

Do yourself a favor and get this one instead of the 32GB 3080 model which only gives you 15% more performance for hundreds of dollars more. This is the best version to get in terms of price-performance ratio. It has no webcam, but most laptop webcams aren't good quality anyway, and you can always get an external one if you need it and only use it when you need to, which allows for more privacy if you're worried about your webcam being accessed for whatever reason. The only real negative thing about this laptop is that you can upgrade the RAM, but because one of the RAM modules is soldered on to the motherboard, if you replace the second 8GB RAM stick with a higher capacity one, you lose dual channel, which will hinder performance... So don't upgrade the RAM unless you really need the extra RAM.

Powerful, light weight, delivers what it promises.

Been wanting a powerful all in one laptop for a long time but never really bought into the 20 series graphics cards. Now I can chill on the couch while my GF watches her girl shows and still be "present"... Does get very hot when gaming and you'll need to keep it plugged in because the battery does not last long while gaming with the graphics card but honestly that's to be expected. It's incredibly light weight when you think about what you've got under the hood... a 3070 graphics card, i9 CPU, fans, heat sinks, 2k WQHD monitor, etc. I added a 1 TB NVMe SSD that I stole from my desktop before I sold it (to help offset the cost of the laptop...). Honestly don't even miss the desktop! Great purchase, especially if you've got an older desktop or laptop still running 2 or 3 year old technology. I love building new desktops so maybe in a year in when the graphics card and cpu supply chain is back to something resembling normal, I'll build another one, but for now this ASUS Zephyrus Laptop scratches all my itches. Everyone complains about the lack of Webcam, but it's a personal machine, not used for business/work, so don't really care. And a stand alone Webcam is cheap so if you really need one it's not that big of a deal.
