Many also praise its powerful GPU, lightweight design, and vibrant display, along with the keyboard. However, some users mention that the laptop can get hot, and the fan noise can be noticeable. Great product just a few quality control issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Met my expectations pretty well. Great for gaming, school work, and everything in between. There is a little backlight bleeding, but it's tolerable. Sound quality is good on medium to high volumes, but on low volume, I can hear a bit of static whenever the left speaker plays. Gets hot and loud when gaming, but that's true for most gaming laptops anyways. When not gaming, it's EXTREMELY quiet. Can barely hear the fans even when I put my ear next to the machine. Overall a great product.

Decent laptop for gaming and work
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would say this laptop overall is very good. Light, compact yet powerful. Although it’s not the best rtx3070 (only 80w, turbo boost at 100w), it is decent for most games. However, the soldered 8g ram is a big letdown. So far, I have only owned it for less than 14 days. Hopefully nothing will go wrong.

Gaming laptop of my dreams
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never believed a thin and light gaming laptop could boast a solid 6-10 hr battery life while playing demanding games. Can handle triple A games at 1440p 60 fps with high settings and more than capable for high refresh at 1080p. No webcam unfortunately.

Performs great but been having speaker issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Has great display for QHD at 165hz. Performs great for gaming, getting about 100 frames on Warzone on 1440p. The only thing is that the speaker's bass is messed up and Best Buy gave me no help. Going to end up returning this laptop.

Powerful laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this as a graduation gift for our son and he loves it. Runs any game he wants to play at max graphical settings at 60 frames. The fans can be very loud and the bottom can heat up but as long as you use headphones it should be fine. Overall a very good machine.

Best value and power combination available
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best value and parts combination available. Haven't had any issues so far and just impressed with everything so far. Great keyboard, very powerful machine, reasonable battery for general use. My only complaint is the keyboard can get quite hot on maxed out settings.

A Solid Option With Few Caveats
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had heard many good things about the Zephyrus prior to buying it myself. So it seemed like a solid choice, which it is. It has a good keyboard and a very good display. One issue so far is the temps. It seems that no matter what I do the CPU tends to run hot. Even when I am not gaming sometimes reaching up to 80C. But when taken off charge, it remains quiet and the battery life very impressive for a gaming laptop. If there are better solutions for the fan sound and the heat, please let me know:)

Decent laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good laptop but the lack of a num pad is irritating. Also, these ASUS laptops seem to have a conversion of the touch pad to a num pad but this model does not have that feature. For gaming, it is fine but the fan noise does make headphones almost a requirement. For a daily driver, the laptop is very nice. Great display too.

G15 RTX 3070 Faults
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hardware Cons: Only one dimm slot for ram since some is soldered to the board. Therefore, you may lose dual channel in case you change sticks. Only two usb a ports. So, if you are using a mouse and keyboard, you cannot use another usb a device without having an adapter, hub, or etc. Lacking a webcam and the screen could be 16 by 10 like in the Zephryus M16. Software Cons: For the Armoury Crate, there is a setting called iGPU mode, which allows you to disable the dedicated GPU to increase efficiency. For the auto mode, it will enable the GPU when plugged in and disabled when not plugged in. I believe there should also be a mode where the GPU is enabled or disabled depending on the task. For instance, I may have my laptop plugged in and just be watching YouTube videos. In that case, the radeon graphics are sufficient, so having the rtx 3070 enabled would draw unnecessary power and create extra heat.

One of the best gaming/work laptops
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best gaming/work laptops on the market. The full aluminum/magnesium chassis has a premium feel and look. The eclipse Gray is conservative enough to not look out of place even in a professional work environment. The screen is QHD with 165hx screen with 100% DCIP 3 so great for gaming and content creation. The keyboard is also great for typing so can double as work laptop unlike some other gaming laptops with mushy keyboards. The laptop is roughly over 5 lbs which is amazing given the power it packs. The Ryzen 9 5900HS will be able to handle any task you throw at it. This is paired with the Nvidia 3070 which while limited at 85watt with dynamic boost to 100w still holds its own running most titles. Someone looking for a dedicated gaming machine might want to but a machine with a higher GPU TDP but as a hybrid gaming/work machine, this is one of the best laptops on the market.

Spend the extra money on Zephyrus
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely recommend this as compared to the older ROG versions. The old ROG entry level (all plastic case) had fan noise was too loud and had video issues that made the laptop worthless. Worth the extra money for better screen and upgraded performance.

The laptop that I am happy and excited about.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very happy and excited with my purchase of this ASUS laptop for three reasons: First, I was given a discount of $180.00. Second, this laptop is very fast, just as I expected. Third, this laptop operates smoothly. This laptop is intended mainly for gamers, so it is very fast indeed. I am not a gamer; I will use this laptop mainly for editing photos and videos. Nevertheless, I also want a computer that is fast and does not cause any annoying glitches in my work, and this is the kind of laptop that I can be satisfied with. Sorry, I can show only two photos, because all my other photos have been rejected by this screen as being too large. These photos are unedited, and have not been resized or cropped.

Excellent Laptop for a good price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop has handled everything I've thrown at it with no problems whatsoever. It is a laptop though so you do need a good cooling pad as playing games on ultra high setting makes the cpu quite hot. The gpu handles heat a little better than the cpu. Ive had the cpu hit 95 Celsius (the max safe temp is 105 c) but the gpu stay at 75. So once again.... please get a cooling pad and a good one at that. Plays Apex on highest settings at 110 - 150 fps wonderfully. Cyberpunk 59-60 fps on max. Older games like SWTOR no problems on ultra high. The rgb keyboard even has a smart setting to tell you how hot you are running. Overall this is a great machine and worth the price.

||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son seems to of loved it. He hasn’t had any issues with it and if he does he has the manufacturer warranty. Although he got it specifically for his gaming and he had built gaming computer prior so he’s knowledgeable if anything happens.

||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent, versatile laptop that can handle anything you throw at it. So far it's been the best laptop I have ever used. Only downsides are few USB 3.0 ports and no built-in Webcam. However, it's very light and the battery life is great.

A fair balance for work and play.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a new laptop for dev and secondly perhaps be an upgrade to my gen 1 threadripper running an rx5700xt. Can’t buy amd processors and graphic cards so spending 1900 with tax seemed like a reasonable compromise to meet both my needs. Playing Destiny 2 I get 120-140 FPS which is better than the 60-80 I get on my desktop. I am looking into means to optimize Optimus and will be plugging into an external monitor eventually and hope to get 144 FPS with Destiny somehow. One good thing, the audio is amazing. I never heard Destiny sound so good. No headphones and sounds were very surround and super clear. Nice surprise there. Bad thing is I can not get the fingerprint scanner to recognize my print with multiple tries...probably user error. I think I can live with this laptop for sure. A small compromise on performance for better battery life meets my requirements. Going to install Android studio and Visual Studio and see how that goes. Should be fine - hopefully memory will be enough. That’s all I need. Now I can wait for zen 4 and next gen rx7000 series gpu for my 2022 desktop build. Peace!!!
