An absolute nightmare from start to finish. Within the first day this computer was overheating and shutting off midgame. I sent it in for repairs and they had to send it off to the factory. They returned it and claimed they fixed everything and put a new fan in. The computer still overheats and I'm playing games made in 2004. Not only that but I paid for WiFi 6 and the card has broken at least 5 times. I've had to go buy ethernet chords to try updating it and reformatting my computer to no avail. Now I'm stuck sitting at home whenever I use this computer because I have to use a chord instead of enjoying myself at a cafe or anywhere else laptops are designed for. I will never EVER own anything by this company again. I'm so angry. I've lost out on tons of work and been reprimanded because of lack of internet or computer usability while overseas and working abroad. I want my money back.

just received this machine, and by judging the look this is the nicest laptop I've ever bought, It is pretty thin and light, the only thing I can say that the interior of the laptop is shiny which leads to lots of fingerprints, but other than that it is awesome, will follow up after several weeks from today, to tell my user experience

For gaming while living in the dorms, or in any situation where a desktop would be impractical, this bad boy rocks! In my case, to improve both my gaming and college computing needs, I did grab a good gaming mouse, a camera, and a USB hub.

This laptop is amazing, with 16 GB of RAM you can have a many browser tabs open With the addition of a 165 Hz screen, you can easily get 165 frames on your games, even unplugged from the power source you’re capable of getting a steady 60 FPS. I am 100% satisfied with this laptop

I’ve been using this laptop for everything from editing with photoshop/premiere pro, to playing my favorite games, and browsing the web the whole time on my second monitor. It has provided great performance and has been more than what I could have expected. Love it.

Overall this is hands down the best bang for your buck for performance to portability, people complain about QC issues but mine came in perfect condition of course there is some back bleed but that is with every laptop! GO BUY ONE NOW!

This laptop was a huge disappointment. Pros: -Specs are good. -Screen is nice (although a bit dim). -Chassis is attractive. Cons: -Hottest laptop I've ever used. Hotter than a GE66 2070S, Omen 15 1660ti, G14 2060, G14 3060, M15 2070, Legion 5 2060. The keyboard, including WASD, is uncomfortable when gaming. CPU was 61°C and GPU was 55°C at idle. CPU hit 70°C with one tab open watching Twitch, 87° in the Warzone menu, and 93° in game. This is with boost disabled in a 71°F room on a desk and the back of the device elevated. Maybe I got a dud? -All of this heat gets pumped out of the back of the laptop directly onto the bottom part of the screen, which in turn is hot to the touch. -Build quality is poor (the body creaks when you pick it up or put pressure on the edges. -Coil whine. -Touch pad is flaky and inaccurate, even after updating drivers.

The overall laptop and its performance is great, but like others have pointed out the build quality is hit-or-miss. Right out of the box, the bottom portion of the plastic bezel that surrounds the screen is flexing outward from where it should be laying flat. This exposes the laptop to any potential dust and debris, which I can see being a major problem in the future, since the exhaust vents blow up right onto the bottom bezel.

This laptop is a powerhouse! I had been looking for one that both looked somewhat professional (to be brought into the workplace) and had some kick to it. Both have proven to be true. My main critique is that it does run hot, so be wary of that.

This ASUS ZEPHYRUS G15 5900HS 3070 LAPTOP IS AMAZING. 1st I upgraded the ram to 40gb. The way this works is 8gb is soldered and 8gb upgradable. So I went to CRUCIAL.COM looked up my laptop model and there it was a compatible 32gb stick for my g15. So 8gb soldered + 32gb crucial=40gb. The way that this works is AMD RYZEN CPU RUNS THE 1ST 16GB DUAL CHANNEL AND THE REMAINING 32GB IN SINGLE CHANNEL. I ALSO ADDED 1 2TB 980 PRO SSD. These ssd are gen 4 but if you look at the specs they are gen 3 backwards compatible I get over 3500 read and write speeds. Remember verify with crucial.com on the correct part according to your asus g15 model

I'll start off with this laptop being well-rounded. This is my first time purchasing a gaming laptop and since I purchased, I have no regrets. I love the features and the 5 stars is well deserved. The only thing I wish was included was a web cam. Other than that, great laptop!

This laptop plays all my RPGs and MMos at max out settings. So far no complaints. I would recommend this laptop to those looking for a great gaming experience without breaking the bank. Would recommend upgrading the memory that's about it. Got it on sale!! Best bang for your buck !!!

This 3070 (laptop model) is actually a worse performing GPU than the 2080 super(laptop) from the old model. It's capped at 80w when a normal 3070 pulls 200w. That's less than half and it shows, badly. Other laptop versions of the 3070 have 160w. Everything else is a good upgrade except the soldered ram slot again... 1440p looks good and the touchpad is solid. I did have to return one unit because it died after 3 days so watch out for qc issues.

LOVE this laptop. Ryzen 9 + RTX 3700 on a 2K screen and a great keyboard = delicious everything. Also the speakers are probably the best I've heard on a laptop (same with the G14). Highly recommended.

the laptop is good. premium quality. However, I requested an exchange of product because the speaker is making electric noise when playing music. The overall condition is fine. I like this laptop. New one is coming in tomorrow and I will check that again.

After a year of using this Asus laptop, I can say that it is one of the worst purchases I've made for electronics. Just after the one year warranty, both the screen and keyboard malfunctioned almost as if it was perfectly planned obsolescence. The screen placement against the keyboard is terrible, causing permanent etching/scratching over time. It has been incredibly difficult getting the keyboard replaced in a different country than where I had purchased it in and support is useless. The fingerprint login function randomly stops working. Both sleep and hibernation never worked correctly, causing the computer to shutdown instead and erasing my previously setup every time. The computer also doesn't know when to turn off. The laptop will resurrect itself after turning it off by turning back on automatically, causing a high fan speed noise at the BIOS prompt if I leave the laptop plugged in after shut down. This also prevents me from charging the laptop after shutting down because it will just turn back on again. I will be going back to Lenovo on my next laptop purchase.

A most excellent machine. I had to wait a bit before it went on sale, but gladly took the savings. Yes, battery life could be better, and a 1080 camera is needed. But the graphics card is good, the screen is beautiful, and it suits me just fine. Highly recommended

Writing this review after a year of usage. Great gaming and working laptop. I've been using it everyday for the last year for work and gaming. Great product and reasonable price for what you are getting.

I was in the market for a new labtop and this is perfect for me. I am a gamer but also am an engineering student. I need to be able to run programs for class and also want to be able to play games. I haven't had any of the problems with the speakers that people have. All in all I am happy with this purchase.
